Do NOT take your kids here. I brought my 16-month-old in last night with classic croup symptoms and was completely brushed off. The provider, Michael Morganstein, immediately said "absolutely not" before even assessing her and offered no real explanation. Because she wasn't actively coughing in the office, I showed him a video from right before we came in. He told me she was just "clearing her throat" -- but a 16-month-old cannot consciously clear their throat. They also scanned her forehead for a temperature and told me it was 98° something. I understand they don't do rectal temp checks there, but a forehead scanner should not be over four degrees off. I told them it was way off just by feeling how hot she was against my chest. Sure enough, when we got home (just 10 minutes later), her temperature was 102.2. Originally he told me he isn't as concerned with her having any bacterial infections because she doesn't have a fever since their thermometer read 98, so I called to inform them thinking maybe he would think differently now knowing her ACTUAL temperature. I was told I could bring her back in right this second for "re-evaluation" because they are about to close in 10 minutes, but that Michael Morganstein wasn't going to change his plan of care. This morning at 10:30, her pediatrician immediately confirmed it was croup just by hearing her talk, and also mentioned croup is currently going around. The difference in care was night and day. On top of that, I was worried about her oxygen. Their pediatric pulse ox read 75% on both her finger and toe. Instead of taking it seriously, they brushed it off, said the reading "wasn't right," and never re-checked or addressed her oxygen again during the visit. Michael Morganstein ignored me as a parent, dismissed my child, and could have delayed important care. This place is unsafe, and I would never trust them with my child again. read more

This business is extremely negligent. Doctor didn't want to test my wife for the flu because he was sure of what she had. After 2 hours of waiting for a script to be sent he states "I never said that" I will be disputing my charges and filling a claim against this awful business practices. read more

Do not go here - I arrived 30 minutes before close at 7:30pm. I waited at least 5 minutes before the front desk person finally acknowledged me despite her sitting right there. Then she said they couldn't see any more patients after 7:30pm. I said I have been waiting since 7:30pm. Then she asked who the patient was, if it was one of my three kids. I said yes. She asked how old, and when I said my 3 month old, she said they don't take kids under 6 months. On their website, it says they take pediatrics of all ages. She then told me they had seen too many patients that day and would not see us. Absolutely horrible service and so disappointing that they have no regard for the well being of walk-ins, let alone an infant. read more

Self paid $160 for an eye stye related exam - I explained to the physician assistant that the antibiotics medication he was prescribing takes a longer time to work for me. I've dealt with this condition quite a bit in my life. He refused to give me a refill option if I needed it a little longer . He told me that if it didn't work, I could come back in for a follow up Sure enough it didn't work. I call for a follow up appointment, and am told that I have to pay an additional $160.00 and start over with another doctor. I call & explain that I think that is unfair to me because the assistant told me that he would do a follow up. So now I have to pay additional full price with no explanation or assurance that anything different will be done. Not a good experience! read more

A nurse practitioner promises to deliver somewhat relief for my symptoms only to come back and tell me the pain injection he promised is expired and the Rx's he was going to prescribe interferes with the multivitamin I take. For a while I liked this place for the convenient wait times. When you have a tight schedule being able to get in and out is important. I overlooked a lot of things I didn't like, example most of the staff is not friendly or welcoming. Only one I can think of was consistent in being friendly. I had a reoccurring issue, and was told by the dr/nurse practitioner if there's anything concerning I could give a call and explain what's going on. Well, I called and was met with a very sour attitude which caught me off guard. When I was called back to see the healthcare provider, I began explaining my symptoms and medical history. However, I was immediately met with dismissive and condescending remarks. It seemed as though the provider had already made up their mind about my condition and was not willing to listen to anything I had to say. Once again, they tried to incorrectly charge me. The front desk staff is not trained appropriately. The Parrish location front desk staff is extremely rude. Hailey, the office manager is extremely unethical advising patients they will not be seen in a medical emergency. I have been in the healthcare business for years and from what I can see the whole organization needs training on policies, procedures and patient care. Lost vision in my right eye and it went grey for a few seconds. Physician Assistant sent me away, sent me home said nothing was wrong that he could find and " thats all I got for ya" if you want a cat scan , then go for it" and go find out. They offer online "appointments" which turn out to be neither an appointment nor a line placeholder. Made an appointment for 10am, and when we got there at 9:50am, we were told we would have an hour and a half wait. When we said we had an appointment, the receptionist said that it's not an appointment but just to hold your place in line. But then she went on to say that if people walk-in before we arrive, they get priority. So basically the online appointment does absolutely nothing. I walked in to this Urgent Care (CLIA#10D2182304) when Doctor Morgenstern checked my son's throat and said he was going to give my son antibiotics for 3 days. I said why wouldn't you test him first? He said he doesn't practice medicine that way and he said it's a waste of test. I said doesn't my insurance pay for testing and he said No, not necessarily. He then said that if he does a strep test and it comes out negative, he isn't going to give my son any medicine. He said he isn't going to test him for the Flu, he refused to test him for the flu and he said I can just take care of Flu symptoms at home on my own. I repeatedly asked questions and he just kept on with his basic life. He must be as miserable as he looks, the only thing this guy and his nurses are worried about is when is lunch break. My son's school expects doctor results to know what's going on and to not spread diseases to other kids. They refused to do any testing until I kept pushing. This is the second time this doctor refused to test my child. I was hoping there was a different Doctor today. On 9/4/24 I was here with my other son when Dr. Morgenstern saw my son was in so much pain because he injured his hands and they refused to give him X-rays until I kept complaining . The practitioners said his name is Doctor Mike and refused to tell me his name. I'm reporting this business and doctor until someone from the health department calls me back! I will not give up- I've never met such a Doctor in my life, he should be ashamed to stand next to all the excellent doctors in this world. read more

I am giving zero stars! I have a history of sinus infections and that was part of my reason for my visit! I also have a broken toe. The person that treated me was just not what I have experienced before! He was nasty, in fact, downright insensitive! He told me antibiotics will kill me and said it's probably a virus! He laughed at me when I wanted fluconazple when he finally prescribed antibiotics I then asked for that drug to prevent yeast infection. He told me I didn't need it, however I insisted on the tablets because I get UTI'S very easily! He finally said ok but gave me just one...I let him know that in the last 20 years I have been given 3 and when I said that he laughed at me, so condescending and rude. He's in the wrong profession! X-ray was taken and I was told it was Tentatively, agreed one AC tear But radiology might get around to reading it tomorrow. I was told to go home and take ibuprofen and i would be fine. Was not given any pain medication or sling or f/u instruction Went back the next day due to worsening pain/immobility ,radiology report As promised and follow up on previously requested order for MRI at an imaging location. Refused to provide order for MRI, stating that the physician did not recommend it on date of service and I would need to come back tomorrow to talk to him. Office manager came out and was extremely rude and dismissive In front of a waiting room full of people. Did not provide radiology report as promised. Follow up With ortho on my own account revealed fracture, grade 3 tear and significant soft tissue damage. First of all, do not call your business an "urgent" care because nothing is urgent about this place. They want everyone to wait outside but they don't provide enough seats. We have been here more than 1:20 minutes for a simple COVID test! Their rooms are so tiny one can easily feel clostraphobic. When they finally call you, they will have you wait more to see a doctor so he can ask you why you're getting a test done so they can bill your insurance more. Go somewhere else. I went to the Prime Health Urgent Care at US-301 for the first time yesterday because I had a cough, fever of 102.8, body aches, sore throat and headache. This was the closest urgent care that took my insurance. First I am supposed to only have a copay of $50 for all urgent cares, They charged me $140.00 because I have a deductible. My deductible is waived for urgent cares and office visit. Every person that walked in after me got charged the same amount. I also picked this place because they do testing for Covid and flu. My PCP is out for 2 weeks. When I was called back they took my vitals and left the room. Mins later the doctor came in looked at my throat ears and listened to me which literally took 5 mins and said "Ok we are going to call in an antibiotic and steroid" and left the room. No testing for flu or Covid nothing! Next day after taking 3 doses of the antibiotic they gave me, I woke up with a rash on my face and chest today. I called to tell them I woke up with a rash and asked them if they could call in something else they simply told me to stop the antibiotic for 3 days and see if it clears up. They said if I am still sick after 3 to 4 days come back pay another $140 and they will call something else in! These people are a joke and I 100% DO NOT recommend them at all! I will be driving an hour from now on to go to any another urgent care or better yet for what it cost me to go there I will literally just go to the ER it would be cheaper! read more

I have been there three times: the first time for an ankle fracture, the second for COVID testing and recently for my COVID vaccine. The staff and the Doctor were very professional. If I could select minus stars I would. My husband be was suffering a heart attack unknown to me, but should have been obvious to staff. They argued about railroad Medicare acceptance instead. We were there a bit after 8am, by 9 I was fed up with their billing concern and no service. I took my husband a couple of miles down the road . Front receptionist wasted no time in getting him to a room, with be a flurry of activity including an ambulance. Dolphin Medical has my love. SHAME on this urgent care. BTW. I expressed concerns about a policy of having suspected Covid patients gathered in a waiting room since my son is 2 and does not yet understand the importance of wearing a mask. My husband called when he got there for the appt to ask about the procedure and they told him come in to fill out paperwork, not suggesting an option to wait in the car. When he realized the wait would be a while he went to the car but in the meantime he was instructed to come inside. The front desk girl I initially spoke with was very dismissive with an incredibly rude tone. She handed me off to the office manager who stated since Gov. DeSantis reopened the state to 100% reopening they implemented a waiting room again rather than a wait in the car system they previously offered. I mentioned that it's their choice to reopen to 100% and does not make sense when cases are spiking in the area. I thought as healthcare workers they would be more concerned with the health of their patients particularly such a young child. The office manager thanked me for expressing my concerns but was clearly patronizing and had no interest in reflecting on improving their policy. If you advertise your clinic as offering Covid testing as a hallmark of your services I would expect a high emphasis on health and safety. A lack of common sense and basic preventative policies only contributes to the spread of the virus and it's a shame to see a medical office failing to provide adequate safety measures for their patients when they should be setting the example for the community as a whole. read more

I would rate this place with no stars if there was an option for this. The worst place I have ever been to. No knowledge, doctors and nurses in their phones when people are waiting. I called in advanced to see what the wait time was and they said no one is here. I arrived 5 min later filled out paper work they told me to wait in the car. 40 min later I had still not been able to go inside so I walked in- the front desk lady said oh yea you can go in the back. Then waited for 25 min and no one had come to see me. I had to leave since I have a 4 month baby at home- she said sorry but it's better if you have an appointment so I scheduled one for the following day at 8 am first thing in the morning thinking ok I will be the first one there to get help. I walked outside from my room I was waiting in at 8.30 is anyone going to see me, the doctor said right across on his phone and said oh yes I was just about to come see you. I said I have to get to work, he looked at me for 2 sec and said I will send the meds to your pharmacy I don't want to keep you waiting.. unbelievable how the health care is in this country. read more
