We were with them for over 20 years but they kept raising the rates and it's very difficult to correspond with them since they closed the office in Cromwell. I WOULD DEFINITELY AVOID USING THEM. I switched to another payroll company 5 months ago who are much more reasonable and the service is much better. They have created a "subscription" service with no notice and no way to leave without paying huge amount. After 20 years they created 18 problems in one month with only 11 employees.... and then charged full amount! They even missed an entire payroll. The service is horrible. DO NOT do business with this company! I was a customer of theirs for about 2 years and when I canceled the payroll service I noticed they overbilled me for $100. After bringing this to their attention both the service rep and the supervisor stopped responding as though they didn't feel like dealing with it. GUESS WHAT - I'm a man of principle and I want my money back. Their way of dealing with the problem is ignoring me and hoping I go away. Stay far away from Prime pay. I was a loyal customer for years and they started making changes that made zero sense and actually made processing payroll much harder. We switched to ADP 4 months ago and they keep billing us and recently sent a bill as high as a full year of services. I have sent several emails to cancel with no response. This company is going downhill fast and is now a horrible payroll company. If I could give negative stars I would as one star is actually a compliment based on the service and shadiness I saw over the last 4 months or so before I canceled that apparently are not accepting as they keep charging me to the point i have to leave a review and block payments through my bank. read more

Don't bring a mistake THEY made on paychecks up to them; they'll ignore ALL your calls. Also, don't try to call on a Monday, Tuesday OR Wednesday. They have no problem telling you that they are too busy for your issue on those days. I will steer everyone I know away from PrimePay. read more
