My wife and I were leaving L.A. on a Friday night and figured we could get some R&R here by saving us an hour if we were to drive to the strip. We should have trusted the negative reviews as our short, one night stay was anything but restful. Upon entering the casino, the first thing you notice is the stench of cigarette smoke. It is everywhere. The next thing you notice is the old 1990's style décor and interior. It was like the place was never renovated. After checking in, we walked through Building A which had a nice, clean hallway and looked to have new rooms. We were cautiously optimistic. After walking what felt like a mile, we entered Building B which took us back to the era when I was an adolescent learning about sex ed and basic geometry based on the interior. Every other step we took, the floor creaked. Literally. The carpet was worn out and the room doors resembled something you would find in an old psych ward. By the time we entered our room, our expectations were less than zero. The room was no different - the floor creaked, carpet looked so dirty you wouldn't dare walk barefoot, and the bed's springs were weak and the sleep was uncomfortable. The TV had no movie channels and there were what seemed to be an equal number of local channels vs. 'no signal' channels aka a static screen. I think I counted 10 (viewable) to 9 (static) channels like a roller coaster of a baseball game where the bullpen can't hold any leads. The anxiety was comparable. Streaming through the channels and trying to figure out which channels actually worked was like a torturous game that kept me amused for 10 minutes. Perhaps my favorite part of the night was being awoken at 3am to hear the ceiling creaking back and forth from what sounded like a parkour fest from the guests above and fearing they were going to fall through. My wife and I had originally thought about taking our time the next morning with some breakfast and gambling, but we checked out faster than we could hit the snooze button on the alarm. +1 star for the café Primm and Proper. Food was decent and staff was friendly. This will be the last time I stay here and next time will spend the extra time to drive to LV. The only reason for me to stop by would be to fill up gas at the Chevron across the street from this place. P.S. As I wrote, Building A looked to have newer rooms. Perhaps if you pay more you can stay there. Or, trust my review and the others and choose not to stay here. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would but that isn't allowed. Don't bother with the newly renovated rooms. My parents stayed on the third floor ( they think it was ro339)in a newly renovated room and there is no drywall behind the mattress just a whole in the wall. There was rat poop on the counter in the corner where the tv is. There was rat poop in the end table drawer next to the bed. The pull out table had spilled soda all over it. Also, none of the outlets worked to plug in their breathing machine. They tried to file a complaint at the front desk and they didn't want to hear it. DO NOT STAY HERE! Be warned! read more

STAY AWAY!!! I wish I could give this place a minus 1. Absolutely the worst lodging and poorest example of a resort I have ever experienced in my life. I was part of a small group. We checked in at 10:00 PM and rooms were not ready. I went to four different rooms until I found one where the beds were made. The room I stayed in did not have hand towels or washcloths. I should say, I did not have a clean washcloth, there was a used washcloth hanging on the shower curtain rod. Some rooms did not have toilet paper, soap and shampoo. The floor in the room was not vacuumed. As you can see in the pictures the hallway was lined with dirty linens and trash, the rooms were in disrepair, and who knows what might be growing in the walls. The bar was less than substandard. Overall appearance of the establishment was also substandard. You would be better off sleeping in your car. read more

The hotel feels like a building that time forgot literally was no air conditioning in the hotel hallways the room acs barely worked had to get ours replaced in the middle of our stay and we went to front desk and said the ac is broken they acted as tho we were making it up because the last people who stayed in the room didn't mention it???? Like things can break between customers especially when you don't use the hotel for what I can only assume would have been five or ten years... an even bigger shocker was no ac in the casino where they make all their money it was hotter than hades in their sweated thru shirt after shirt while down there and only spent maybe two hours a day down there total that's not how it should be guests shouldn't have to rely on staying inside an outdated dirty hotel room with stains on the walls for any chance at staying cool..... and then on the hottest day of the weekend they closed the pool for maintenance and didn't have any done on it not a soul out their working on the pool they just didn't want to pay the lifeguards to be their!!!! You can't call it a resort and then not provide any amenities malls closed pools hit and miss depending on how much they want to spend on payroll no air conditioning at all in public areas of hotel and shoddy at best in rooms dirty rooms and public spaces dust clogged ac units in rooms never cleaned stains all over the walls and only one place to eat at that's basically a glorified high school cafeteria with slightly better food not a great stay at all would not recommend they made a mistake closing bills and opening the primm dump read more

We checked in went to our room and immediately decided that we couldn't stay there. We were turned off as soon as we parked. There was a homeless person in the parking lot. When we walked into the casino it was dirty and smelled bad. We went ahead and checked in, but were skeptical. We had been driving 12 hrs and didn't want to drive anymore that day. We headed to the room, it was first floor. We went down the elevator then proceeded to go approximately 100 yards down the filthiest stinking hotel hallway that I have ever been in. We almost turned around there, but I was tired of driving. We finally got to the room. When we went in it was disgusting. The shower was dirty the stool had chips in the porcelain. The king bed wasn't even assembled correctly, one of the box springs was hanging out 10-12 inches. Over all this was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. This place is good when it comes to concert and music, however the amenities are horrendous, the casino floor don't have enough cocktails servers and the bartenders are extremely rude when we approach them to ask for a gratuity drink while playing the slots. The rooms are half cleaned. They really need to improve. They only have one hotel opened which is the buffalo,they should be able to afford to hire more staff to keep the rooms clean and hire better people at the front desk and at the bar with more pleasant attitude. read more

Okay. I know Primm is recovering still from the pandemic and a lot of Vegas casinos just aren't doing well but Jesus Christ. My family goes there for the concerts. I thug it out each time bc I just don't care for the casino but instead of getting better it got A LOT worse. First of all, I had to switch rooms at 4:30am bc the bed was the worst bed in the history of beds. My back hurt from my shoulders down to my tail bone and I ended up with a massive headache. I couldn't take it anymore. Not to mention the employees laughing and talking loudly outside on break at 1:35am. They also put me in a ADA room when other rooms were available. I switch rooms and though the bed was better I still wasn't able to sleep much. The A/C kicked on so loud it woke me up constantly and it was too hot to turn off. All of our rooms had loud A/Cs and my uncle's room had the A/C hanging out the wall that you could see outside. I didn't have a remote to the tv to my second room and when I got one the volume didn't work so I left it off bc it was way too loud especially at night. You could hear the tv in the hall. Let's talk about the food. Buffet...closed. Steakhouse upstairs...closed. Mexican food spot...closed. They opened the Wagon wheel and served hospital food buffet style. Roasted chicken, beef, mash and gravy, corn and salad with green beans. Again, hospital food. They need to work on their ventilation system. I couldn't breathe. I'm asthmatic and I can go to casinos no problems but I was suffocating. I used my inhaler every hour. Their filtration system for the smoke is horrible. I will say the new band in the bar is fantastic. The best part. Way better than the last band that couldn't sing for a lick. Saturday night I was so miserable I left the concert early, packed my bags, and made the 5 hour drive back home. I immediately fell asleep and here it is Tuesday and my lungs are so agitated I'm having bronchial issues so I've been taking medication. Never again. I am done. They can do better and really need to. CLR or any lime and soap scum remover goes a long way. It was just a horrible disgusting and disappointing experience. 8/27/21 This will be my first and last stay at Primm Valley Resort because it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.... When you first enter the building, not only will you smell the cigarette smoke, but there's also a musty smell mixed in. When we got to our room, the lights were not working at all. The door to our room was smeared with a very suspicious brown-looking substance.... Seeing all of this, we went back to the front desk to switch to another room. We were able to get another room across the hall. The second room smelled super musty, but at least the lights were working. The rooms and the hotel in general are not as clean as they are supposed to be...Our new room had towels with disgusting stains on them. In the bathroom, there was a leftover bar of soap WITH hair on it...very gross indeed! We were dreading that there might even be bed bugs in the mattress and blankets, but this place was the only hotel we could find in the area that was dog friendly. When I called the front desk on the phone if we could get more bathroom supplies (like CLEAN towels, more soap, and shampoo), the guy told me to come up to the front desk to grab it. Um, normally those things are brought to the guest.....So I went to the front desk and I told the lady at the front I had called about getting more bathroom supplies. She went to the back to get a bag of towels with the soap and shampoo and then rudely asked if I have a need for anything else. I said no thank you and headed back to my room. I guess you get what you pay for here... The cockroaches on the sidewalk walking in should of warmed us! Masks are now required to enter here, but signage was minimal and we had been traveling the past two weeks, not knowing the new rules. We get to the check in desk and signs say- no mask, no service. Even though we were vaccinated. The place doesn't offer you masks so you have to go to the gas station if you can't find one. I left a positive review 5 years ago. This place is a janky dump. Managements inability to staff the hotel adequately became a huge issue this brief and unenjoyable trip. Nothing is open, everything smells like skunky weed, no one here wants to be here. Half as many games, no valet, no bell carts, no restaurants, 1 towel in the room and three wet in the defrosted mini fridge. Broken elevator. Homeless man in the stairwell. Sink that jets out water onto your pants... creepy snake print headboards. I could go on and on. Just die already Primm Valley and sell the property to someone who can bring it back. So I just checked in... I am drinking wine out of the the bottle! Because there are no cops/glasses in the room. So as I say that. The room was filthy when got here. Sooo 45 minutes later in line-,the girl honestly couldn't not give a shit that they were false advertising. We got to our room- what???? The floor had not Ben vacuumed in who knows how long. , there was sticky Carmel everyhwhete and the does not work. So now I can't call the operator, rooms service or z911z I went back to the register desk armed with photos on this filthy wood, showed them photos and the manager was right there. In embarrassment she came and cleaned this filthy room- hell they weren't going to lose a sale tight! Kudos to herA there was a telephone that didn't work/ she did not care or hrlpA but she did scrub the room. There were dead beat ties everywhere ... Our second key did not work and the remote does not turn on the tv... what the fuck Duck am I paying fir????? Honestly I couldn't wait to stay here- it wasn't my Z60th birthday.... It's not as bad as some reviews on Yelp. It's a smoky casino. But that's Vegas! The drinks from the bar were good and reasonable. Minimal gambling, but it was fun. The restaurants are not 5 star. Our room was clean, inexpensive and comfortable. The Strip and surrounding area was booked and available rooms were $600-$1000 for a night. This was during the rodeo week and college football championship. Primm was $140 and an easy drive back to LA. So if you're traveling through, it's not bad. You know how hotels have signature scents? Well you'll be surprised to know that this one does too. Dirty, musty, haven't taken a shower or shampooed the carpet since it was installed in 1993 kinda smell. If that's the kind of scent you can't get enough of, you should stay here - otherwise drive the extra 45 minutes to Vegas. This place is gross and incredibly outdated in every way. It's like they been waiting and hoping for the 70's to come back in style so that maybe just maybe they wouldn't have to change the carpet. This Four star review is based on competitors of this caliber...this is NOT Las Vegas, nor should it be compared to it... Every time I come here I have a blast! The beer is super cold, the employees are outstanding! Our room has always been comfortable and quiet. I know this pandemic has really hurt the ability of these once 3 casinos, now only 2, to operate. When the Governor has pretty much handcuffed casinos and restaurants...I feel like this place has done the best it can. They do not have the ability to run full operation on all restaurants...so please plan accordingly! I will say they hands down have the best bartenders I have ever encountered! They are sweet, friendly and efficient! So this is not Vegas...but it is cheap fun and cheap rooms that are comfortable and it is just plain fun all around if you plan on gambling. I had fond memories of this place as a kid. Apparently lots has changed since then and not for the better by any means. My wife booked a room for us several weeks ago and the price she was given was just a little over $100. Not bad... or so we thought. We arrived last night to find paint literally falling off the wall, carpet with holes, blisters and all sorts of nasty stains, trash (cigarette butts, paper, food wrappers, even a dirty diaper!) all over the floor, and the entire place smelled like an over-used ashtray. It was way beyond disgusting. The assortment of prostitutes, drunks and crack dealers only added to the ambiance. For whatever reason, we continued to the hotel check-in counter, to be greeted by a young girl and her 4" long fake eyelashes, *face tattoos* and matching attitude, who informed us that the total cost for one night, including "resort fees" (resort?? Where?) was $197. Bed bugs included at no additional charge. It was at this point that we came to our senses and decided perhaps this was not the optimal destination for the beginning of our family summer vacation, so we gave ol' Lashes the TBNT and drove into Vegas to find a hotel that had been cleaned in the last year. I'll never be back to this dump ever again. I can see why Buffalo Bill's is closed. This pig stye needs to go out of business as well. read more

I will not set foot in buffalo bill's casino since they hire perverts for bar tenders and they fire excellent server for the casino floor . Instead they keep crappy servers that you can't find to get a drink and the night servers are just as bad , you have to put their faces on a milk carton to get some service. Their is only about 2 night servers who are good plus the machines are tight , they get any tighter they'll start squeaking. Welcome to another review of Primm Valley resort. When you arrive at Primm you may notice it has a fresh paint job. Driving into the main entrance you will notice an absence of valet and bell hops. Once you unload your luggage you will have to search for a bell cart. You may just have to slep your luggage to the front desk. Have someone hold the broken automatic door for you. Buffalo Bills- We decided to stay here because there was an event a few miles away the following day. At first check in the room was a little shabby. Unfortunately, when we looked further, our shower was filled with long black hair as if someone had washed their wig in the shower, and it was everywhere. It took housekeeping several hours to clean it unbeknown to us that the shower was clogged. We did not figure this out until morning when we needed to take showers before the event and the front desk told us that the plumber could not arrive until sometime later that day so we braved all three of us taking a shower one at a time and it flooded the bathroom. The water was up past our ankles. We had no other choice. We had completely had it by then so we checked out early on Saturday and spoke to a gentleman in hotel billing, who was allegedly a manager, and assured us that we would not be charged for our second day, especially since we decided not to stay a second day. I just looked at my credit card statement and yes we were charged for the entire stay. I have been trying to contact billing for about two weeks now and I haven't received any response. Yes, I have pictures of the shoddy room and the hair all in the shower. I would never stay in this place again. The casino reeks of cigarettes, by the way. I do know my rights and I'm not against contacting my credit card company. However, I was hoping they could just solve this by crediting our account as promised. read more

We have an RV for off-road race but enjoy getting hotel for pool & posh comfort. Upgraded to a master suite w/ bay window! Def worth it. Lovely time. Comfortable bed. Lots of Space. Order an in-room massage! Which we did. Amazing Jacuzzi bubble bath. A bar/sink area & fridge. An extra bathroom. Pull out couch. 2 TVs. I'm only removing one Star. For these reasons: Could not close the pull out bed. Looked jimmied w/ wire. One Curtain rod on right fell when touched. I looked & it was stripped so it wasn't 1st time. These weren't huge deals. Ez fixes. However, I won't want to go to next desert race in May if the pools are not open by then. The mall was mostly vacant. We lucked out & saw Bonny & Clydes car. read more

We stayed here to get a jump on our trip home from hiking in Zion , UT, thinking it would be cheaper to crash here than Vegas. I regret this decision! ARRIVAL: Parked on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. Then rode in a filthy-floored elevator down to street level before continuing our trek to inconveniently located lobby. What an unfortunate first impression!The Men's Restroom at the entrance had hunks of someone else's toilet paper all around in the stall. REGISTRATION: The first sign that check-in was going to be an ordeal was the airport style rope lines at the registration desk. It took us from 2:40 to nearly 3:00pm to get our keys from the unsmiling receptionist who looked like she truly did NOT enjoy her job. AND NOW, ON TO THE ROOM... We had just spent the three previous nights in a Holiday Inn Express in Zion, UT. That was truly the Ritz Carlton compared to this dump. FURNISHINGS: Two ok beds Decent color TV Toilet worked okay Carpet feels old and filthy to the touch No fridge No microwave No coffee maker No working telephone ("We're working on the system right now") DAMAGE/ISSUES IN ROOM: Here are the rather obvious issues I noted during just a one night stay. *Burned out lightbulb above toilet *Poked-in drywall where doorknob hits wall *Dirty, corroded non-ADA lockset on bathroom door *No stopper in sink (?!) *Shower curtain rod improperly installed *Shower hardware dull and nasty *No outlet anywhere near table lamp so can't use it *Table lamp missing the nut that holds the lampshade on *Carpets everywhere in hotel look dirty (edges of carpet in hallway near baseboards are FULL of built-up crud) CHECKOUT: Clerk asked for my credit card and ID again, even though I produced it on check-in (yesterday!) The room had been booked and prepaid online, but we still were charged a $15 "Resort Fee" for a hotel whose pool was "Closed for the season". Desk woman told us it was for the wi-fi. What BS. FINAL THOUGHTS: Was so glad to LEAVE this hotel! As we left, a friendly older gentleman rode the elevator down with us. After some small talk he mentioned this was the best of the 3 hotels (Whiskey Pete's, Primm Valley Resort, and ?). If so, I would hate to see those. I suppose if you can only do one thing right, have a clean comfortable bed. They got that part right. That's all the kind words I can think of for Primm Valley Resort. I would not advise anyone I liked to stay here, period. It is a disgusting DUMP. UPDATE 20 OCT 2018: Lowered my review from two stars to one after noticing they actually have someone disputing guest complaints (rather than addressing them). When multiple people notice and complain about the same cleanliness and maintenance issues, months apart, and document it with photos each time, maybe it's time you try doing some actual housekeeping and maintenance for a change instead of impugning your (former) customers' integrity. read more

Stayed at this hotel/ casino this past weekend for a concert which was probably the only good thing that happened on my trip. Upon arriving at the hotel, they no longer have valet parking, or Bell boys to come and retrieve your luggage to take to your room. Everything has to be done on your own, which was very inconvenient. Parking was a pain far walk. Once getting into our rooms, we noticed that we had two bath towels, one washcloth and one hand towel for two people so we tried calling housekeeping and they no longer have the service as well. So we had to call the front desk they said they would send a message for them to bring us two sets of towels . I called him at 2 PM and got no response until 9:30 that night and they still didn't bring our towels . They had a shortage of staff all over the place. Terrible Hospitality!! We went to a restaurant same thing shortage of staff. Although The food was good. Saturday night we went to the Buffet ( which is only open for special engagements, since it was a Concert) For $30 a person it was not worth it. They had no ice for your drinks. It was just not appetizing. Money down the drain. Overall it was a really crappy weekend except for the concert. It was awesome. Buffalo Bills do you need to step up your game? Sadly the Las Vegas Disneyland has caused places like whiskey Pete's and looks not too good for Primm. It's a nice place to stop when traveling and you don't want all that traffic and mess I. If you have an electric car, and it is not a Tesla, you are out of luck. I had to use my rooms outlet to charge my Nissan Leaf. And even then it took 27 hours to charge enough for me to make it back to Las Vegas. I will never go to Primm again until you fix the two measly charges you have out there for other electric cars besides Tesla. But Tesla??? The pic speaks for itself. Stopped here on our way to Zion and Bryce NPs as we couldn't drive the whole way. Should have pushed the extra hour and and stayed in Vegas. One star because we only paid $50 per night (+ $18 resort fee and $50 deposit). No stars for the hair on the bed sheets and the crusty pee on the toilet. We were exhausted so asked for an extra flat sheet to put on top of the bed. We were told "but that's the upgraded room...there shouldn't be dirty sheets!" I don't want to know what the regular rooms look like. Also-- had a good laugh when we saw the "view" from our window-- cinder blocks and a service alley. Leaving once it's light out. Really should have known better but I'm always up for a good laugh. Updates: okay water pressure but the vanity mirror fell right off the plaster wall due to lack of dry wall screws. read more

Do your self a favor and STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! If I could give it negative starts I so would! We had a reservation for a room with a king size bed and we got two queen beds they said they had nothing else my husband's friend was kind enough to trade his room with (a king size bed) with us, we were already super tired after a 9 hour drive and I just wanted to take a shower when to my surprise this is what I found I was so disgusted!! The shower stall was so dusty and dirty and shower floor had hairs, dirt & a mini cockroach!!!! I called the front desk and they seem like they are used to this (it's 2am) and they said there is no house keeping until 9am and they couldn't do anything about it! Worst customer service EVER! Worst place to stay EVER!!! This place should not be open it's hygiene is extremely questionable! Please save your time and money and stay away! read more

Where do I start? 1 towel for our room of 4, housekeeping and front desk don't answer. Walk to front desk, neither hotel has towels at the moment. Pool is closed for the weekend. Arrived at 9pm on a Friday, not even pizza place that's supposed to be open til 1am is open. Half the lights in our room don't work, bulbs or electrical? USB ports don't work. Decide to go to pool, the 4 of us get 2 towels. Should have kept driving and just stayed in Las Vegas. Did I mention the filth and roaches in the ice vending room outside my door? It continues to get worse, we drive to Buffalo Bills with the kids to use the pool, there's a long line and we need to wait almost an hour for people to leave before we can enter the pool because it's at capacity. After 30 minutes in the pool we are told pool needs to be closed for the rest of the day for cleaning. It's 2pm, over 100° and now my kids can't swim. Supposedly no managers on duty so nobody can figure out how to send the lifeguards to Primm so that there's at least 1 open pool between the 3 casinos. read more

Keeping in mind this is not Las Vegas and Covid was a tough time for all, I took the reviews with a grain of salt. Oh lord! Where do I start. The good: the check-in staff was lovely. It was convenient. The price was good. No waiting for a machine because it was a ghost town. The bad: I can handle out-dated, but this hotel is so run down and dirty. So dirty. I was extremely hesitant to sleep in the bed. And I skipped the shower in the morning, which I never do. Walking down the hallway there are literally stacks of dirty laundry and trash bags full of trash that was all still there in the morning when we left. Rooms are clean, but even the non-smoking rooms have a slight cigarette smell to them. They claim to have remodeled these rooms, but they weren't done very well at all. Most of the restaurants in the casino are closed during the week. There are also only a handful of stores that are actually open in the outlet mall. Everything is pretty much closed down. It seems this area is going out of business. They also charge a $22 resort fee for whatever reason. The pool isn't even open. read more
