The part tey paved developed cracks along the sides, the drain repair fell apart within 6 months and the sealing wore off in 6 months. I called an agreed to have them come look at it as soon as I was done with some other work was completed so there was nothing parked in their way. I called back a month later multiple times and noone calls me back. I wasted $3000 ( not the paving part), now had to have another contractor repair the drain correctly. I still need to find someone reputable to reseal the driveway. I would not use Marini again or recommend them.

Other contractors that came out for quotes insisted that we needed to put in very expensive drainage so that out garage wouldn't fill with water. Marini explained if the driveway had the right pitch, the water would flow away from the garage. This past Sunday, we experienced a 10 inch rainfall in less than 24 hours and there was no water in our garage. The man knows what he's doing. Very pleased a year later.

Due to the company's negligence, lack of accessibility and disorganization, the project encountered numerous issues which led to insurmountable delays. The contract indicated a 120-day timeline, this project took an unacceptable seven months to complete. Some examples of LG's dereliction include: 1. Ineffective subcontractors. Three of them (gutters, flooring, mason) were replaced after extended periods of haplessness. 2. Lyman Gilbert, the principal of LG, was constantly unavailable or unreachable while issues occurred on-site. Lyman was on vacation often throughout the project and did not return calls or texts. 3. Re-work was constant, leading to further delays. 4. The subcontractors that did complete work were rude and lacked integrity. 5. LG lacks expertise in several areas, most importantly HVAC. I have never filed a complaint like this before but LG's performance was so egregiously unsatisfactory, I feel compelled to warn others before they commit to a similarly dysfunctional project.

And at the end I could see why. $$$$. I'm sure they are a great company, I personally felt like I was paying for the gorgeous powerpoint presentation and slick sales pitch as much as a new roof. The second company I'll get to in a minute, The third had such an ego that any time I asked a question it was met with an obvious "look lady, I'm the roofer, just trust me" attitude. Well, that didn't go far with me. Or my husband as we both like to be pretty involved in all decisions of home improvement - we like to know what we're paying for, we know the materials we wanted to use, and how we wanted things done. So that guy was out. Okay back to the second company, the one we went with: Rodyben7 roofing. Super straight shooter, down to earth owner who explained everything, gave us a solid, fair, competitive quote, put up with the few changes and many many questions my husband and I both had, and because of all this we decided this was our guy. The work was flawless. He showed up with his team on time, got to work, and finished the same day, including cleanup. The roof looks beautiful, the gutters seamless and installed with ease, the whole team friendly and pleasant, and the communication throughout the day great (we received many pictures as things progressed). They even did a few extra at no cost things that were small, but needed to be done while they were up there. AND they put roof ties into the new roof so the next person who must climb up there has a safety latch to attach to. A Monsoon hit a few days later and everything worked great. I'm super happy. It was so stress-free and exactly like we were quoted and explained. Nothing hidden, nothing extra. And the team consists of men and women - which I love. Would hire again if I had another roof to install. I'll happily update this review in a year to report if things are still looking strong. Highly recommend.

He began our job with propmises he didn't keep. He only came with workers sporadically which caused the job to take much longer than he initally said it would . He gave us an estimate and then wanted more money before the job was complete, even though it hadn't expanded. And then, when we wouldnt give it to him, after we had paid him the entire estimated sum, he left the job, unfinished and didn't respond to calls, emails or even a mailed letter. He caused us aggivation and extra money and time. He was very UNPLESANT to deal with. SAVE YOURSELF from him.
