We were fortunate to have gotten VIP tickets for the week's events and got into the Burger Battle an hour early. We were able to taste the various burgers and narrow down top selections rather quickly. The event space was so festive and beautiful with various neon lighting, blow-up lighted decor and other touches that were selfie and social media ready! Everyone was super friendly and the fun was on overload. Each burger was paired with a kombucha, a beer, or a hard kombucha/seltzer which was a nice touch. After narrowing it down to a Final Two I selected my winner as The Green Haus, it was a tight race and everyone was on their game! Alison and Michelle really outdid themselves and I can't wait for the rest of the weekend if this is how it's starting. All their and their team's hard work really shined through!

No one inside the store said anything. A few minutes later, while I was outside on the street, the employee ran out, threw the trash at me and called me "pussy." I tried to explain that I honestly thought it was a trash bin and did not mean any disrespect, but instead of explaining the situation he continued to behave aggressively and told me to leave. I was honestly shocked and felt very intimidated by this behavior. I have never experienced anything like this from a store employee before. This situation could have been handled in a normal and respectful way. Being insulted and having trash thrown at you by a store employee is completely unacceptable customer service.
