On 3/7/26, I called and arranged for transport for 3/8/26 from Ocala National Park in Silver Spings to another part of the park in Altoona. It was explained the price was elevated due to the service originating in Delaney. We agreed on the price and I paid $72.06 via Paypal to Primo Taxi LLC on 3/7/26 at 10:51am. No one showed up at the agreed pickup place and time. I got a phone call 11 minutes after the pickup time. The switchboard operator explained they hadn't sent anyone out and will not send anyone until they receive extra money above the already paid and agreed to amount. They said the other employee priced the $65 fare incorrectly. I was pretty upset given the circumstances and that they hadn't sent anyone out yet. I was going to run into a chance that I incur extra fees for exceeding my rental car window and a risk of missing my flight that evening. I had to resort to asking random people in the park if they'd drive me for the cash I had on hand. I was able to find someone that took pity on me. I had been backpacking for a couple of days so hadn't showered so was a bit unkept. Given the risk of asking random strangers for a ride puts me and them in an unideal position. I was clear with the original switchboard operator that I wasn't sure if I had cell service given its in the middle of a large wilderness area but I was just fortunate to have a small signal to get Primo's phone call otherwise I'd have been waiting hours and miss my rental car return window and flight. I have not received a refund for the payment I submitted to guarantee my transport which I would like since I did not receive the agreed upon service. I coordinated the ride the night before from Deland Airport to Stetson University (2.7 miles) for one person. I was quoted $15. I sent a message 45 mins prior to arrival notifying Primo of my pickup time. Upon arrival I called and was told it would be about 15 mins. 25 mins later I messaged the company and was told the driver was 8 mins away. 15 mins later I called Primo and was told the driver was 5 mins away. The driver showed 5 mins later. Instead of the quoted $15 price, I was told the cost is now $25 for the 2.7 mile ride. I was already 45 mins late otherwise I would have gotten an Uber. read more

On March 22, 2026, we prepaid for a ride to the airport for 3:15 am. They never showed up and when we called the dispatchers no one answered. We left messages and no one got back to us. We had to drive one of our vehicles to the airport and leave it there for 3 weeks until we came back to Florida. That bill costs us $399.00. Wr have been calling them for several months to get our money back for the prepaid service that we never were provided. They told us several times that they were refunding us through our credit card or mailing a check in the mail. As of June 26, 2026, we have received nothing from them. We have used this service 3 times and they only showed up once. Bad customer service, never return phone calls. We run a business and we would be out of business if we ran it like Primo Taxi. This is a terrible establishment who take advantage of the elderly. They have an alcohol delivery service they charge $75 or more for each delivery even after being asked not to deliver alcohol to the Ill elderly. They call the clients and solicit alcohol delivery to them around the 3rd of every month when some of the elderly receive their social security benefits. If they cannot charge a customers debit credit they will take the elderlys phone and set up PayPal accounts directly from their checking account. Their tactics and business practices are despicable and shameful. read more

So, I check FB and found 2 more numbers, so I call one and some lady answered very rude and then put me on hold. Why would anyone trust a company that treats calling potential customers this way. read more

Worst taxi cab service ever waited 2-1/2 hours after being told 20-25 minutes 3 times .... then i used them last night and they tried to tell me it would be just over 50 dollars to go from the heritage inn to the neighborhood market and back with no wait time ...... for god sake someone open another taxi service and put the shitty place out of business read more

If I could do no stars, I would. I called for a ride, and was told by an obviously intoxicated person, that I would need to pay ahead of time to go approximately three miles from my starting point. And the office is 3 miles from me. When I told the woman who answered the phone that I only had cash, she was still very insistent I pay ahead of time. I called several companies after declining, and they all said the same thing. I should have never been asked to pay ahead, unless it was a far distance. On another occasion, I was charged $40 to go three miles from my starting point, and was told it was because they had to come from the next town over to pick me up. Last time I checked, the meter starts on pickup. Even Uber and Lyft don't charge that amount for that trip. I also have a feiend who's entire bank account was drained and traced back to them, and she used them multiple times a week. Would never, ever, recommend.​ read more

I used DeLand taxi ( one name they use) a few weeks ago for a return home from Sanford International Airport. I booked before flying in with all the flight information given to them. Upon arrival no message, no car. I called them and was told driver is on the way and was delayed by an accident on I4. Well that is believable. When driver arrived I spoke with him on my drive home. First he cleared stuff off the seat and floor, his car was much older than those posted on the webpage. Okay no biggy guy is trying to pay bills. As the conversation developed there was no accident but a fare he was assigned impacted getting me! oh red flag. We did not get on the 41 toll, but meandered through Sanford. 17/92 along the river was closed for road work. Drive gets longer, We missed a turn and had to make a u turn. Ride gets longer! The next day I called to complain, not about drive but the accident lie and fare was 8 dollars more than Lift not counting tip. Shorten story no reply no nothing Lesson take Lift read more

I used Primo Taxi today for a short trip across town. The phone was answered promptly, the fare was established in advance and the cab arrived within 15 minutes of the call. I have continuously used this service with no problems until today where I experienced one of the worst rides. My driver had been listening to a podcast that was playing throughout the car speakers off of his phone that was speaking of inappropriate things such as pornography films in which scene audio was played. On top of the ridiculous disturbance of what he considered entertainment, he charged a fare of 9$ in which I was only 1.5 miles from my destination within Deland. Not to mention that there is a fixed rate of 8$ online and 10% off for students.
