It also helps that one of my friends, who happens to be a physical therapist, also referred me to this clinic. He shared great things about this place, so the bar was already set high. My therapist Dorian was engaging, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. In addition to assigning practical, doable and strength-building workouts each week, he explains why they're important and how they fall under the program. I thought I knew how to work out, as I've been lifting for almost a decade now, and it was all undone after just a few short but impactful months with Dorian. I quickly learned I had to relearn most of what I knew, and I appreciated it. Before I wrap up this review, I do want to highlight the office manager, Marisa, who was such a delight at every interaction. She made scheduling a breeze and was always so awesome to deal with. I always walked away with a smile after interacting with Marisa, who genuinely knows how to put patients at ease. Note: Unfortunately, Prehab Physical Therapy was out of network with my medical insurance. However, Marisa provided a superbill after each visit, which made insurance claim submissions easy! I am walking away with a stronger appreciation of form in my workouts and a new profound respect for stretching. If you're looking for a knowledgeable therapist and a modern clinic, check out Prehab Physical Therapy.

I work specifically with Dorian and he's incredibly knowledgeable and has made a huge difference in my mobility after just a couple sessions. I've seen many physical therapists since my surgery and other sports injuries, and I love the interface they have for at home PT. The videos are super helpful and it's nice that they put your routine on a link for you. Pricing is on par with other high quality PT places I've been to, but you really get what you pay for. Would totally recommend if you have any mobility/surgical or sports issues!

First off, I can tell you that the staff here genuinely enjoys their line of work, they like being…read morethere, and being there for you. When I first spoke/met with Destiny, I was like ok she is the Boss, and I say that because she keeps everyone in order, on both sides, and I'm pretty sure she's the one responsible for seeing that everything runs smoothly. Not sure how many doctors/therapists work here, I've seen around 6 or 7, but she seems to hold it all down. I appreciate the level of communication I get from her, when scheduling appointments, and I like the reminder texts she sends that you can actually respond to and get a reply. And even though she's always busy, she's always a peach and is very welcoming when I come in. The facility is easy to get to, you can park in the front on the street for 1 hr parking, although Destiny advised against it since there's a history of idiots crashing into parked cars on Sepulveda. Or there's a huge lot in the back, and an entrance that's clearly visible. So today I had my 7th session with Dr. Key. Actually, maybe he's the Boss. But a different kind of boss if you know. Straight off, you realize you're getting treated by someone who knows and truly understands how the body works and makes connections with the necessary actions in order to rehabilitate you. Also, he cares. That's everything, right? Anyway, he def makes you feel comfortable and pays attention to your needs in terms of how you should be.paced and considers your individual progression. With Dr. Key and Madi (who I believe is currently working on her masters or doctorate and is totally going straight to the top cuz she's a baddie) you'll feel like you're in good hands. Although I would rather not have to deal with the circumstances which brought me to them, I do feel grateful to have them looking after me. Backing up real quick, I was referred here to aid in my recovery from a head/neck injury. The accident was actually three years ago but I'm still suffering from headaches, pain, stiffness and weakness on my left side. I've learned that recovery isn't always a quick fix, and that with patience, it also requires work and the willingness to be persistent and consistent with the things that will help truly help you get well. And for the long run. I'm hoping that by rehabbing and strengthening my body through PT, I won't need to rely on drugs or pain management for the rest of my life. I'm learning exercises that I can keep doing past the time I spend here, which I will appreciate forever. So yeah, they're legit and recommend them tremendously.

After receiving no response, I went to the office in person to handle it. The front desk worker was genuinely one of the rudest and most unhelpful people I have ever dealt with. They cancelled my appointment without notifying me or calling me back to confirm the change, which is basic communication and standard practice at any other office I have dealt with. When I asked why no one had answered my calls or returned my voicemail, the worker was extremely dismissive and took absolutely no accountability. She had an incredibly condescending attitude throughout the entire interaction and came across as though she had no interest in hearing what I was saying because she was so convinced that she was right. There was a clear sense of ego in the way she spoke to me, rather than any willingness to simply listen and resolve the issue. I even asked her directly, "So are you going to call me back next time?" Her response was, "We can try." Given that I had already called three times and left a voicemail, I found that response incredibly dismissive and unprofessional. She was rude from the beginning, spoke to me as though I was incapable of understanding what I was saying, and repeatedly refused to actually listen to me. I specifically went in to reschedule the appointment I had scheduled for later that day, but she kept insisting that I tell her which appointment I had already attended that morning, despite me repeatedly explaining what I was there for. What should have been a simple administrative request turned into an unnecessarily frustrating interaction because she would not listen, acknowledge what I was saying, or take any responsibility for the lack of communication. Completely unacceptable from any office serving patients.
