Very disorganized billing department. My insurance was not run until a month after my paperwork was submitted (and after I attempted to pay my co-pay twice). My bill was higher than expected and I reached out to Maria from billing to resolve it (as I found out at this point they do not take my insurance). I emailed with Maria and called to settle my bill in February and was told everything was complete. 2 months later, a bill arrived at my home. Not only did I receive a bill after being told it had been settled, I also received a bill for the incorrect amount. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I reached out to Maria about these issues and told my issues had been forwarded to her supervisor and I would hear back at the end of this week but I have still not received a response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The continuous disorganization from this organization makes this a less than optimal place to recover. read more

What a well-run and effective PT. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The office is well-run and helpful and I was able to get appointments that fit my schedule.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Brooke and Lauren helped with my small rotator cuff tear/pain by getting the right exercises to strengthen my muscles. In less than two months I progressed enough that I just need to keep up some exercises at home. If you're looking for awesome physical therapy, look no further! I'm an Army veteran who has had chronic pain for years now. I've had previous ankle surgery, bilateral labrum tears, meniscus tears, herniated discs, and spinal arthritis. To say the least, my body has some ISSUES. Orthosport has several physical therapists and I've had the pleasure of being treated by all of them. Every single PT here is so incredibly competent, kind, focused, understanding, and so very professional. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The PT aids are also incredible to work with. Everybody is so friendly and I sense that they're passionate about their work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There truly is some sort of magic here. Whoever does all the hiring really knows what to look for. I have a sincere appreciation for establishments that operate well, and this is one of those places. The PT team here really is an all-star team. I have absolutely zero complaints. It would be nice if the parking lot was a little bigger but it's really not that big of a deal. Even if they took away parking completely, I'd do everything I could to come here because the quality and professionalism of care is that spectacular. I had recently received shoulder surgery and needed therapy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I called to scheduled a session, I let the front desk receptionist know that I'm a returning customer and my insurance had changed from Blue Cross PPO to Blue Shield PPO. She informed that I would still be in-network (their first mistake), so I scheduled an appointment despite a two week waiting period.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They told me if an earlier opening came up, they'd let me know. Never heard from them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I went to my first session, the receptionist told me they didn't have me scheduled (their second mistake).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had just waited 2 weeks and needed therapy right away, so I insisted they correct their mistake and fit me in, which they did.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A couple days later, I checked the Blue Shield website to verify Orthosport was in-network and it stated they were not. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So I called Orthosport to inquire about it and was told to not worry, but just wait until billing was fully processed (their third mistake).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Billing finally processed after my second session and Blue Shield said they will pay nothing, leaving me to pay the entire amount. [[HIGHLIGHT]]So I called Orthosport and they asked for my policy number (which I had already given them weeks earlier) and that's when they realized I really was out-of-network.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Since Orthosport never verified if I was really in-network until after two therapy sessions and me inquiring about it, I told them that I should only be obligated to to pay what I would if I was truly in-network ($50 co-pay per session). [[HIGHLIGHT]]But instead, Maria from billing believes I'm lying and insists that I knew I was out-of-network all along and yet chose to schedule the sessions anyway![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She then calms she's doing me a favor by giving me a discounted bill, yet the amount is still more than double what I would pay if I was truly in-network. If you look at other reviewers here, you will see they have had similar problems dating back years. If the management can't fix these recurring problems within a few years, they don't deserve your business. read more

At first I was pretty happy with OrthoSport, which I went to for rehab after total knee replacement surgery. I wasn't crazy about the PT, but the assistants I worked with were very nice and helpful. However, after 9 sessions (2 months), I got a call from someone telling me that they don't take my insurance! Mind you, before my therapy started I had submitted paperwork and they had made copies of my insurance cards when I first came in. I was angry because the first few months of physical therapy are important, and they caused me to have to start all over (find a new facility--they are not all the same quality), get doctor's orders, etc. Really didn't appreciate the disruption in my rehab. I can't recommend a place with such a disorganized back office. I need to focus on healing and getting functionality back. read more

I've been going in twice a week for a couple of months for some shoulder pain and posture correction. Because of my schedule I had to book appointments on different days and at different times, which led to me working with a number of the therapists there. Every single experience was fantastic, the care plan felt seamless despite having different therapists. The guidance on movement and exercise was clear and easy to follow. Your office staff said you would call me but I didn't hear from you. It would have been more helpful for your business if you actually acknowledged his poor treatment of me. By not addressing that, but rather focusing on your years in business and my other Yelp reviews, you are agreeing to the way he handled things. You can be defensive or you can grow. - Went for consult and saw mr Rose. All through the consultation it was clear that the purpose of the conversation was to tout how great he was. I heard it over and over and basically ignored his ego trip. He wanted to put me face down on the table and put pillows under my feet. I told him that that always causes me lower back pain and asked him to remove the pillows. He went on and on about how he's a professional and knows better what's best for my body. He knew me for 10 minutes and though I told him I have very bad lower back issues he never inquired as to what those were. I am 65 and know my body well. He threw the pillows on the chair and said I'm not going to argue with you. He completely disrespected me, because his being right and keeping his image of always knowing better, was clearly more important than communicating with his client and get to know her body. I left and do not recommend this place at all! Respect is the minimum. read more

Wonderful experience here after my microdiscectomy (back surgery). I also had hip issues that they were able to address. My recovery went pretty quick and I went from going twice a week, to once a week, to every other week, to just not needing to go anymore, obviously had to put in the time and the work. Phil and Enrique always accessed my body and listened to my needs and concerns. The whole staff there is very nice and caring. They do make you feel welcome and comfortable. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a PT whether it's coming out of a procedure or just needing to slowly gain back strength/ even out your body. read more

I came to Orthosport for a ligament tear in my thumb. Enrique Mendoza was my physical therapist and I highly recommend him as well as all the other physical therapists here. I came into Orthosport in really bad shape. I was basically unable to Walk and had severe pain in my back and legs, with no ability to raise my left foot (Drop Foot) I expected to be getting surgery for my back , but Boyu at Orthosport Physical Therapy is literally an Angel sent from Heaven! No JOKE!!! The First day I came in she was able to diagnose my problems and with a massage and some stretching maneuvers the pain was gone! After 2 days a weeks for 3 weeks of office visits and a proper exercise regiment I am now back to Normal! I have had a lot of experience with P.T. in the past but Boyu is beyond incredible!! I was referred to Orthosport by my Cedars Orthopedic surgeon after a non displaced fracture of my proximal humorous (upper shoulder) from a bike accident. Because I had already had surgery on this shoulder years ago there was already very limited movement. Cristina leads the team, and I can say that she and Blake, Jose, Kevin, and the whole crew were terrific PTs, trainers, and aids. After some dynamic stretching, strengthening, and at home exercises I had a dramatic improvement, with zero pain, and the confidence that no more surgery was needed. My doctor agreed. My shoulder is actually much stronger and more flexible than it was prior to the accident. A very friendly and professional staff...and very safety conscious during this pandemic. We were told by Orthosport staff that our PPO insurance plan covers this facility, only to find out 2 months later after THIRTEEN appointments that insurance will not be paying a single dime, so we ended up responsible for the $1000+ out of our own pocket. I realize it was our responsibility to confirm with insurance that we were 'in-network' but were lured in with the initial 10 minute phone call to Orthosport to verify coverage, the low co-payments week after week, the fact that not a SINGLE staff member in all that time informed us that we were paying cash entirely out of pocket which we learned when we received a bill in the mail after two months! I never write negative reviews, but this is the only recourse at this point. Deceitful and unacceptable business practices. read more

I was recommended to this place by a friend. Took me 3 phone messages to get someone to call me back. Then I spoke to Katy. Had to tell her 3 times to talk slower as she couldn't be understood. Then she told me that Medicare pays 100% of 25 appointments. Asked to speak to a supervisor and of course no one was available. Then I get a call from someone who tells me Medicare only pays 80% not 100%. That's terrible to get all this information. Not one person apologized. No one seemed to care that I was given the wrong information to begin with. All I can say is don't go to this facility. Awful from the get go!! read more

Orthosport was the best! I came in for my wrist after breaking it and having surgery which left me with no range of motion or use. I was told by the surgeon that I would probably not gain back full range of motion and I needed to be prepared for that. Enrique and the team were amazing and really worked and pushed me to get me back to 100% even with the surgeons' doubts. Enrique and the team set a recovery program for me and tracked my progress every step of the way. I now have full range of motion back in my hand and wrist. I have nothing but excellent things to say about the care I received at Orthosport. I had a bunionectomy in the spring, and consistently worked with Blake and Cynthia twice a week for 7 months. It was the best recovery I could have hoped for, given the severity of my surgery. They progressed my treatment and exercises at a pace that made me comfortable, but still pushed me to ensure I was advancing. I am back to my pre-surgery activity (and more!) with zero pain. Christina and her team are amazing! I've dealt with chronic neck, shoulder, and back pain for years. A lot of the pain is caused by my profession as a dentist. I often rely on massages to alleviate the pain. Because of the pandemic, I couldn't go get a massage like usual. I had to find some other way to feel better. I found Orthosport and was so glad it's so close to my house. First of all, they take covid precautions very seriously. They take great care to wipe down every machine before letting you use it. There's multiple air purifiers and hand sanitizers in the facility. Everyone must wear their mask and get their temperature taken. I love all the exercises they gave me. Now, I'm working on strength training through the pilate reformer. I feel like I'm getting stronger. It's been a very great experience. read more

I love this place. I've been coming here for a few weeks now and it's super consistent. All the PT's are friendly and knowledgeable. They incorporate Pilates (both Mat and Reformer) with floor exercises and have private rooms for assessments and massage. They are always accomodating and even have a fruit basket every week! What an arrogant bunch. Let me explain. Once you make an appointment they will e mail you and text you 3 to 4 times to remind you that you have an appointment. They even threaten you with a $75.00 fine is you can't or don't make it. I had an 8:00 appointment. Each appointment lasts 1 hour. The physical therapist booked an 8:30 appointment and made me sit in their lobby while she worked on the appointment she made during my hour. But they tell you if you show up late you loose that time. In other word they can waist your time but you will be fined or lose your time if you do the same. I had a knee injury. I told the therapist that my ankles also hurt. The therapist told me that she would not work on that and that I needed to get a new prescription for that. To me that means the therapist does not see the body as a whole. How terrible is that. So first she waisted my time and then she wanted another prescription for more sessions. These people are just money hungry jerks. Stay far away. read more

I saw Jessica Fellow and Enrique Mendoza at Orthosport for trochanteric bursitis and lower back pain and weakness. Over the course of about 14 weeks I saw a big improvement in my sleep, which was my main functional issue.
