This school is by far the best in the area. My son attends VPK and the love, care and attention he receives is unmatched. We had him elsewhere previously and it's night and day. Let me preface this by saying my daughter attended the owners Lee Vista location and we had a rather decent experience. Yesterday, I dropped my child off in the toddler classroom. The main teacher has been by herself for some time and last week, a second teacher was hired for that room. I recently decided to drop him down to two days because he kept getting injured and has consistently been sick for the past 3 months, which his pediatrician says shouldn't be happening at this point. I dropped him off and the new teacher had him on her lap. I shut the door and they were not aware I was peeking through the window. I saw the new teacher shove my son off her lap and he was crying and rolling around. I made myself more known in the window and the main teacher alerted the new one to my presence. She then started rubbing his back. I made it to the parking lot and decided not to leave him, due to the mistreatment. I promptly asked to speak with Andrew. I spoke with him this morning and he made it clear the teachers came up with another version. Apparently, they both claimed the new teacher put my son down to get up and do something, which did not occur. They both lied. Very disappointed in the main teacher. I would suggest placing cameras in the classroom. It keeps them honest. Just beware, you pay alot in tuition for your child to be treated as such. Non verbal children are not able to inform parents of what occurs. Reviews like this help parents make informed decisions about the care of their children. I normally don't ever write a review for any business but thought of I don't do it for Primrose of Ocoee Academy will not feel good about it. My son has only attended this school for 3 weeks and we couldn't be more happy having chosen this fantastic school. The amount of care, love , compassion and attention all of the staff members have and displayed towards the kids is absolutely amazing. They truly care for my child's well being , development and safety. The curriculum used is structured and real. There is no fake post sent to parents on a daily basis just to pretend. It is all real and the kids do really follow a predictable schedule for everything every single day! There is no enough words to describe the great job the director, teachers and even the chef do for the kids. They are simply amazing and we are so glad we've finally found a school that became a second home to our child that he looks so looking forward and graciously to go to every single day. My son just recently started in the Infant 1 Room at Primrose and I truly can not say enough great things about our experience! To start, the grounds are beautiful and the school is so clean, the staff are amazing, especially the teachers, and the daily activities set up for children, even from infant room 1, are great. I met with a few other daycares in the area but by far Primrose is the best. A few of my favorite things are the app that allows teachers to send you photo updates multiple times a day, as well as how your child's day was overall at the end of the day and what new activities they tried, and also the monthly calendar. This calendar has everything from events at the school to meet other new parents, bring your favorite stuffed animal to school day, muffins with mom day, and more - it's adorable! I have heard great things about Primrose Schools and began trying to set up a tour at the Ocoee location. I have tried their online form to set up a tour where someone will call me and i have tried calling directly twice. I have yet to hear back from this school. Their website and facebook page show that they are open but I am wondering if they actually are as yet. read more
