I took my golden retriever here for the first time. When we got him back he had a cut on top of his nose. When I mentioned the injury, the guy in the front made it aware that he knew and proceeded to say it was there before we left him. Keep in mind my dog was super hyperactive and I noticed in 2 seconds, meaning I would've noticed if it was there before. When I confronted them and showed them proof of a picture taken just half an hour before dropping him off.. they still remained as if it wasn't their fault. The actual groomer was unaware of the cut and was trying to make sense of the injury while the guy in the front seemed careless and not at fault when all we wanted was an explanation. read more

This is my first puppy ever.. I been waiting my whole life to have my own puppy. And being a first time parent I was scared to take him to just any groomers. So I decided to read few of the other reviews on here .. And went with my gut and took him to princess and dukes. I met the owner and he is very professional and the other girls were very friendly. So the first time I took him I was nervous and I told them please do not cut all his hair because I dislike hairless dogs. So as soon as I got him back I fell in love !!! The second time that I took him.. I decided I wanted to give him a new cut. Because he still had too much hair .. And I showed them a picture exactly how I wanted him.. And when I went to pick him up. Just looking at my benji I wanted to just squeeze him. He came out great. They cut half of the hair he had and he came out gorgeous. With not too much hair and not too little . The best thing about this groomer is the price is reasonable and great.. And it's only 2 mins away from my house !!! It can't get any better than that !!! Called make an appointment and the lady just kept saying I had to show up at 8:30am after I said I wanted to know if my dog can be seen same day. I needed to know about pricing and she apparently couldn't quote me without seeing the dog. The lady seemed like she had an attitude or was bothered cause I was asking questions. Places like that don't deserve my business sorry if you make me feel uncomfortable as if I'm a bother I will not give you 1 penny of my money. I have a frenchie, and he is prone to allergic hives, he frequently gets rashes and Princess & Dukes was the first groomer we've been to that recommended a medicated bath, and thank God for that! First time i take my 4 month old american bulldog to this place. Honestly I wasn't as happy with the result. I have taken him to other groomers before who have down wayyy better jobs. They barely cut his nails which is the whole reason why i took him. They took 1.5 to finish even though there were no other dogs when we got there. & they guy wouldnt take my credit card to pay. Overall, id say dont come here. They werent even as friendly as other ppl there. They stared at both my puppy & i for 10 mins before helping while being on the phone. The service is not bad. I take my golden doodle for quarterly cutting sessions. Price is about $100 for a large breed dog. They have always seem to treat him well. Last cut he got they got to close to his skin and I think they burned him a bit had to put medication to get it to heal. The staff is good. Reading all the reviews saddens me because my experience with them was not as pleasant. I decided to take my dog, Bella, to get groomed and when I picked her up she had a dislocated leg. How they managed to dislocate my dogs leg is beyond me. Not to mention that they failed to tell me that something might be wrong with my dog. Naturally, I took Bella to the vet and tried to do everything that I could for her. Unfortunately, when put under anesthesia it seemed like she had an allergic reaction to it and was having trouble breathing. Bella passed away that day and as much as I'd like to sit here and think that it was an accident it infuriates me how irresponsible and negligent they were. I went back the next day and they sat there denying what they had done and even had the audacity to tell me that it wasn't their fault. I asked to see the cameras and they said that the cameras weren't working. How convenient. To all who have had a wonderful experience with them, I thank god that you didn't have my misfortune but I hope you think twice about how your baby is treated while you're gone. read more

I was going crazy looking for a great pet salon to take my 8 week old puppy for a bath. This place is fairly close to my house so I drive by it often. I looked them up on yelp and even though they only had two reviews, they were 5 stars and they were a million times better than all the other places I had looked up. I went on thanksgiving day and dropped off my 8 week old Maltese, and my moms 7 month old Pomeranian at around 11:15am. They told me they would call me when the puppies were ready because they were really busy. To my surprise I was called at around 12:30pm to go and pick them up. When I got there they brought out my puppies and they smelled so good and were so happy and playful. They both had two little bows each that complimented the color of their fur. I was charged $20 for each puppy and that included a bath and their nails were cut as well. I will definitely make this my regular pet salon. read more

Was surprised to find it was new owners when I arrived. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and was left very disappointed. I was charged $45 to shave down my doggy. The hair was left uneven and the whole cut was just very unprofessional looking ....they didn't clean his ears, teeth or express his anal glands. I let them know I wouldn't return and they could care less. I have finally found an excellent groomer!!! I have a miniature schnauzer that looked more like a mutt because of the lack of grooming. I have had horrible experiences in the past so I am very weary of these places. I finally made the decision to take him to get groomed and searched extensively for a reputable place. I came across this place through yelp and decided to give it a try!! I got there early and waited until it opened. The owner was very nice and helpful, made me feel at ease right away. I explained what I wanted, he gave me pricing and I left my four legged baby hoping everything went ok. I was called two hours later... he was ready to be picked up! As I rushed to get him I was praying they didn't botch him up! When I get there and took a look at him, he was perfectly cut and groomed. His nails were perfectly trimmed and he didn't look stressed at all! I was so happy! They put a cute blue bandana around his neck! The owner explained to me that he needed a dental cleaning and informed me they bring in a technician twice a week by appointment. I will definitely bring my baby back and make this his permanent groomer. read more

They did a great job grooming my pup! He's a bit scared of the groomers and they didn't seem to have any problems; my dog didn't seem scared when I picked him up. They did cut him a bit shorter than I asked, but he honestly looks great and he looks like he feels great. He also has a bum foot right now and is feeling arthritis and they dealt with him well. I took my long hair and my short hair cats to get groomed here and they did such a great job. It was $95 total for both which is a little pricey but it's so worth it. Went here to get my mother in laws Maltese bathed and groomed. In and out she was ready in less than two hours which was great since I went without an appointment. I needed to find a place for my dog to get groomed. I called them and they were nice and I asked them how much it was going to be for my 60 lbs Labrador Retriever and they said $53. Once I got to the place they said it was a $10 charge because certain breeds like Labradors, German Shepards, Huskies, etc were hard to dry off and had lots of hair, I was like okay sure. 2 hours later I called them to see if the dog was ready to pick up and they said yes. I was still thinking about what the told me about the extra charge and I told my wife to fake call them to see how much would they charge her for a German shepherd weighing 60 pounds and they said $53 as well, I got so pissed that they wanted to take advantage of me. Once I got into the place I asked them how much it was and the said $63, oh man I told him how it was , they came up with the excuse that over the phone they did not ask for the breed and it was just an estimate, I called them out on it and told them that 5 mins ago they had just told my wife the same thing they told me. I ended up paying 53$. Once I got to my car I checked my dog's ears and they were not even clean, I went back in there and made them clean it right in front of me , she said that they cleaned it , that the dog might be sick so thats why her ears were dirty again so fast. Now , I do not know for a fact if they checked her anal glands or not. Complete rip off. Never going back again read more

Second time using this place, and definitely the last. Apparently there's been a change of ownership and it was for he worst. Took my 2 little dogs, one for grooming and the other just for nail cutting-- a small very docile Chihuahua. Yes, they did the expected job. However, They inflicted considerable harm to our pets, not to mention traumatize them. The Chihuahua apparently was squeezed and strangled so hard that its eyes had massive bleeding in them; also when you touch her neck, she immediately broke into shrieks of pain and terror. It never EVER done that before. Poor animal now traumatized for life because idiots, savages who don't deserve to be near pets charge you a big buck to terrorize and abuse your beloved pets. Will definitely let the PETA and other organizations about this shop of horrors for pets. Never again and hope God gives them what they deserve. ANIMALS!!!! read more

WARNING!!! (This is actually the first time I ever write a review!!!! That's how upset I am) I've taken my dog there twice! I was happy with her first hair cut and their inexpensive prices.. But I took her back to get groomed there for the second time and not only did they cut her on her tail, for and ears... Once we got home (less than 15 mins after being groomed) I noticed my dog was very down. I went to pick her up to carry her and she screamed... I then noticed a huge lump and bruise on her right up side of her rib cage. As if she had been hit or dropped! I called them instantly and they denied everything. I told them I simply wanted to know what happen so I could explain it to the vet! They said they would've notified me when I picked her up. I told them just like you notified me about cutting her tail foot and ears??? Those are obviously from being groomed! So the same way they withheld that information from me, they were not going to tell me about either hitting her to stay still or dropping her! I took my dog to the vet and she had two bruised ribs and swelling!!! I will NEVER refer anyone to them again! I've referred 3 other dogs to them and they've seen my dogs injuries and will not be returning! Please be very careful who you in trust your furry love ones with! read more

The first time I went here everything went smoothly, my dog was in and out on a Saturday within two hours and they had groomed her at my request. However, the second time I had a horrible experience and I can't say that I will be bringing my business back here. I called and asked if there were any open appointments to get my dog bathed and groomed and they assured me that there were. Dropped her off at noon and by 3 I was beginning to worry, so I called and asked for an update on her and they told me "it would just be a few more minutes". Worried, I showed up at 5 (place closes at 5:30) and they had JUST gotten her to bathe her, she hadn't been groomed whatsoever. She was in a cage without water or without being able to go for 5 hours and these people had the audacity to tell me there were 19 dogs in front of her therefore she had to wait. The fact that I called and asked beforehand and had my pet treated like this is truly despicable. After that, they told me if I wanted her groomed I would have to come back in an hour. Let's just say I took her home soaking wet and they still charged me $25 for something that was hardly considered a bath. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. No animal deserves to be stuck in a cage for 5 hours due to these people's greed just to make a few extra bucks. read more
