Zero stars!!!!! All the negative Yelp reviews are true!!! I decided to give them a chance out of convenience and long story short; we left them to care for our dog for 2 days. We provided 2 days worth of dry food and canned food, 2 rawhide to comfort him in the crate, one for each night and 2 Greenie treats, again one for each night. When we picked him up on Wednesday most of the dry food was still in the bag, neither can was opened and both rawhide and greenie treats were untouched. Dog was starving!!!! I went back to speak to the owner his first response was sometimes dogs don't eat when boarded. I said I understand that but his food wasn't even opened. How do you explain that.? My dog didn't refuse to eat because of separation anxiety, which he doesn't suffers from, or by choice, he simply wasn't fed the food we left him. His next response was it's no big deal, he was only here for 2 days, nothing is going to happen to him if he doesn't eat for 2 days. Yeah that was his response verbatim WTF??? What if I'd left him there a week? We had some other words which proved to me he doesn't know how to treat customers and much less the pets he's supposed to provide care for. He is incompetent, arrogant and unapologetic, I wouldn't trust your pets with this establishment. If he would have told me that what happened was unacceptable and he would speak with his staff about it not happening again. I would have left it alone. They did just that and when I picked her up they told me that there were a few spots that were shorter due to matting. I like being told this right away without me asking. After more than 4 years coming here and ignoring bad reviews and experiences from other dog owners in the area, I was regret not taking my pet somewhere else. They gave him a terrible haircut doing exactly the opposite of what I asked , almost left him bald in his head with the excuse that it was part of a schnauzer cut and to make it worst, he came out with a horrible eye infection. I went back to show it to them and they just said it was maybe a little of shampoo. After ask around they confess they had a new groomer and Just took a picture of the eye infection and the trim style to show the new groomer. All I can say is do not take your dog to this place for grooming services. They did a quick poor job. Left knots below his neck and mouth. Not detailed or passionate at all. They cleaned around his eyes and left a noticeable bald spot right below his eye. Thankfully they did not touch his eye although it was pretty close. They did not do the sanitary cut as requested. Beware overpriced and they will not fulfill the services requested. Saddest part is the owners did not acknowledge any wrong doing and had the nerve to oversee the pictures provided. I am very sad to write this message but it is the second time they mess up my dogs hairs. I guess I just don't learn lol. First event I took my Frenchy Buddha in for a shave and a wash and when I got him back he was cut every where and uneven. I complained and they gave me a free bath and promised to remedy it with oils and a proper cut. They fixed him and after a few months he was back to normal. After a few baths later months after the event I dared to cut his hair again as they advised me prior that they had got a new machine because the previous one had a. Damaged blade. I decided to cut his hair again and now it's again cut uneven, cuts on his legs and just out right bad. I hate to write this review but it is hard not to when you care so much for your dog. The staff is extremely friendly and nice but I really just wish they got a real person who knows how to cut hair. ** after reading other reviews I have also noticed that my dog comes back extremely parched after every groom, not sure if that's normal. This is an absolute delight for our dog! The owner and employees immediately connected with our dog, Cloee. We can tell Cloee had a great afternoon with the other dogs and staff. The dogs have a separate play area based on size and are watched by 2 - 3 employees. The employees are also very comfortable and caring with the other pets. We felt very comfortable when speaking with the owner Davis and employees. The facility is very clean and well maintained with ample space to run around and be a dog. We initially thought of just a grooming but then decided to have the grooming and play day / doggie daycare or as we called it... her doggie spa day! She had a great trimming of her nails and bath. They took her back immediately and asked what i wanted done to her. I said clean her up and cut her hair so its not so long and cut around her bum and ears. They pointed to a hair example card and it was long so i said sounds good. I was assuming that they were experienced with golden/husky hair. That was at 11am. It was 630pm and i had still not heard anything from them. I finally arrived to pick her up and she came out completely shaved! She is a golden retriever! She has a beautiful long coat...HAD a beautiful long coat. ! Why the hell would they shave her! And they kept her head long, she looks ridiculous. I was infuriated after the long wait and then her looking that way. I stated how upset i was and the man was so abrasive and rude. He kept saying i'm sorry but this is whats in the computer. I stated i wanted a refund and he said NO. We did the work, we aren't giving a refund. I am so upset, her undercoat and hair is ruined. I absolutely LOVE this place! I have been taking my dogs here for a little over a month now. From the moment my dogs enter they are greeted by the friendly staff at the front desk. They are quickly escorted in and then the fun begins. This place is extremely neat and clean. There is a window that you can see the dogs playing in the "park area". My dogs have definitely benefited from coming to day care and socializing in a controlled environment. There are always being monitored by a trainer in the park area. I also used the hotel services while I had a weekend getaway. I saw my dogs playing on IG all weekend long. My dogs slept in the same crate as they do at home. It was very comforting to know that my dogs were well taken care of when I was away. I even called a couple of times and the front desk employee gave me daily updates on how my dogs were doing. It gave me peace of mind that I can go away and have a caring, professional and reputable place to leave my dogs. I have taken my dog here every time to get grooming ever since I got him in 2018 but this last time I went was a failure. This happened a few weeks ago. My boyfriend dropped off my dog at 11am, as that was the scheduled time of the appointment. Normally, my dog will be ready within 2-3 hours. Hours passed and I did not receive any calls about my dog so naturally I began to worry. I called in the early afternoon and they told me that they had not gotten to him yet and that he was going to be the last one because he "came late" (not true, he came on time). There was nothing I could do about it but wait for him to be ready and hope that he would be done soon. A few more hours passed and still nothing. I called once more and they told me the same exact thing except that now he had been bathed and was waiting for the haircut. It was now 5pm, and I called a third time to see what was going on. I knew they closed at 6pm so it was strange they had not called me. They told me the SAME thing again - that he had been bathed and is waiting for the haircut. Which sounds like a lie to me as normally groomers cut the hair dry and then bathe them, but to give them the benefit of the doubt, I figured they have their own way of doing things. I was fed up with waiting and was extremely concerned. At 6pm I just showed up only to be told AGAIN that he was only bathed and they still had two dogs before him! WTF. Additionally, there was a lady leaving who told me she took her dog in at 10am and it was just now that she was ready for pick up. A second lady was also waiting for her dog who she brought in early that morning, too. While unfortunate, I was glad that I was not the only one to be going through this. My mom ended up coming around 6:45pm to pretty much see what the hell was going on. She gave them a piece of her mind and at least we ended up getting the service for free. They also offered for us to leace and they would take him to our house, but we denied this. Once we got home, our dog went straight to his water bowl as he was PARCHED. It seems like they don't even give the dogs water. Several reviews have mentioned that their dogs come back extremely thirsty. Mind you, my dog was there for about 8 hours without water as he was finally done around 7pm. ADDITIONALLY, while he was drinking water we saw that he had been cut on his hind thigh/leg area. It was a little bigger than the size of a quarter. My dog is a small shih-tzu for reference. It seems like they put a bloodstopper so he could stop bleeding. Thankfully, the wound is healed now but it is still pinkish and less hair grows there. I will say I did drop him off with several knots, however, this never happens. EVER. He knots easily but this is the first time he was treated so carelessly. I don't know what was happening that day. The next day, we realized that his collar was missing. My boyfriend told me he turned him in with his collar so we figured it was there at the dog house miami. We go and walk in and it is the same guy that dealt with us the day before. Before I could finish my sentence as to why we were back, the front desk guy picked up the collar from the desk and extended his arm for us to get it without saying a single word. If he knew that they had accidentally kept my dogs collar, why TF didn't they call us to let us know?? They love to NOT call, lmao. Oh, another important part of all this - there was no apology for anything. They probably assumed that the free service was enough to make us feel better. No. This is a little innocent dog that should be treated with love, ESPECIALLY FROM A BUSINESS THAT REVOLVES AROUND CARING FOR DOGS. Long story short: they kept my dog for 8 hours with no water, they cut his leg, turned him in without his collar, and they did not give us a courtesy call that they were running late. Had they called us that afternoon and simply said "hey, were running behind. your dog will be done later than usual" we would have been more lenient and understanding. But instead it seems they just assumed everyone would be okay with it. No. These are family pets of people who love and care for them. If they couldn't handle the amount of dogs they took in that day, DON'T TAKE IN THAT AMOUNT AGAIN JUST FOR THE MONEY. Shame on the owners. I don't know if it is under new management, but it sucks now. The owner who spoke with my mom seemed to have NO empathy and seemed to just cared about getting us out of there. She probably doesn't care about animals as much as she should. Unfortunate. Safe to say, I will not be bringing my dog here ever again.
