This place needs to be investigated for malpractice. It's concerning seeing the same story several times over the years in reviews. My experience was no different. Fighting for my pet's life, despite the almost malicious incompetence from PVH. With how much they pushed for euthanasia despite being so wrong, maybe there's something to the conspiracy of vets putting animals down for money. At least at this place. I have been using Princeton Vetinary Hospital for 13-15 years. I never have not paid my bill the day of the service. We even lost two dogs last year as the were very good to us. I recently rescued a 7 month old golden doodle and she needed a lot of help. I got her first haircut and she alread looked cute then she had a trip to the vet for lethargy fever and diarrhea. She had a fever and checked her and she had worm. She got her medicine and was tested for other things. I called the receptionist who was very sweet and asked about the payment. She told me the amount and I had that but she needed more tests. I asked if I could pay the rest of the amount the next week by leaving them a check or coming in or called when we got paid. The First Lady came in and said I should try and credit card and I said we aren't Using them. She insisted on us applying for one in my name and my husband's while we were there. We then after calling my husband managed to pay the full amount. But the third lady who tried to help us was one of the rudest person I have ever had. She said I could write a check for the rest of the amount and then we she got it she said how do I know this is good. Then she said do you realize the cost of having g a doodle. Ten explains to be what it would cost. I wish I would of takek my dog out and never went back. But I stayed and even had a $100 credit before we left so I wouldn't be harassed the next time. She was rude humiliating and awful to me. It's not her business if I can or can not afford my animal. I went in today and used my credit and got three months worth of prevention meds for my other dog. Who they have seen for two years. I will never walk in this place again and tell everyone I know how I was treated. I love both my dogs and they are being taken very well of. My husband and I are both retired and love our dogs. We ended up going to Princeton Veterinary Hospital when my 17 year old cat quit eating. Her regular vet refused to see her (new office policy - they were refusing established patients that hadn't been seen in a year or longer.) We went to PVH twice and ended up having to put my kitty to sleep. The staff, vet techs, and veterinarians were nothing but amazing and so compassionate. I forget the vet techs name, but she was so kind. She gave us 3 sets of paw prints, a nose print that showed my cats little brown spot that I kissed every single day for 15 years. We opted for cremation, and she came back to us beautifully and carefully packaged. I can't say enough good things about this hospital. read more

incompetence. had concerns of lumps on my dog took him in october 2024 was told it was fatty tumor and it was normal for a lab to get these and if they get bigger bring him back and they can cut them out. December 2024 dog is not wanting to leave kennel took dog in too get checked out was told that is not a symptom they checked him for heart worms. February 2025 dog is breathing heavy, bloated, pale gums took in to get checked out was told he needed to go to emergency dog place in evansville they are closing at 5pm. Dog had cancer bleeding internally choking on his own blood. read more

Found out Princeton Vet misdiagnosed Thom. He has diabetes and not a urinary problem.

Took my cat in as a new client since they are a walk in facility, we were able to get in right away. My cat was diagnosed and treated right away. The price was much lower than I anticipated. Dr John and his staff were very kind and efficient. The tech showed me how to administer the cats medication. Would definitely recommend checking them out !! read more
