They made a Don Mattingly jersey for me about 25 years ago, and this year I came across some blanks and Googled "embroidery shop Brooklyn McCarren Park." When BQ Sports popped up, it was like a time warp walking back in -- the shop looks exactly how I left it in 2000, in the best nostalgic way possible. This place is super authentic, super old-school, and still delivering top-tier quality in 2025. The blanks are quality, the varsity jackets are quality, and the embroidery is perfection. I brought in a blank Reebok Pro Line jersey and had it customized into an Amani Toomer -- it literally looks like I pulled it off the rack in 1999. Couldn't ask for anything better. End of the day: their work is amazing, the turnaround time is solid, and their craftsmanship is unmatched. I picked up a few more blanks and George is already lined up to customize them ASAP. They failed to tell me that they were no longer working with the team and that they didn't get any other orders from any teammates this year. When I brought this up to them they said they hadn't done anything wrong and refused to let me return any of the items, even unused ones that could be used by other people, that didn't have names or anything else.
