I wish they had called me to okay the cutting before they did it, but they didn't. I would rate how they treated me with five stars along with their effort for good communication. The sellers had installed 2 new direct-to-consumer brand (Zokop) heat pumps with 4 heads (2 for each) in the home roughly 1 year ago (they are not providing records, but this is a reasonable estimate). After move-in, we noticed an error on the head unit in our son's room. Precision had previously repaired a broken AC at my small business 2 years ago. It was a good experience then, so I was excited to hire them again. They sent 2 technicians to our house, Edgar and Dylan, to service the units and diagnose. Long story short: Dylan broke the fan in one of the good units, which was maybe a year old (per Edgar's estimation based on some technical detail about Freon...you'd have to ask him) and previously working perfectly. He stuck a probe thermometer in the unit to check its efficiency and then caught the fan blade with it as he pulled it out. There was a CRUNCH and 3 bits of plastic fell out. He said "what was that?" and otherwise shrugged it off. No apology. No taking of responsibility, no solution or assessment offered. Completely unprofessional. I stayed calm, paid for their service, and got them out of my house. They assessed the issue with the other unit to be a Freon leak and quoted for repair. Shortly afterwards, I did a small amount of googling and concluded it was likely the fan. The following week, their office called to schedule the leak repair and I asked to speak to the service manager. His name is Wendell. He asked for a photo of the broken pieces (same one I'm posting here) as well as a photo of the label on the unit, which I also provided. He said he'd see what he could figure out. 1 week went by, I called back, he said he couldn't find anything about the unit or source parts, but if I find the part, they could install it. Not a good solution. I stayed calm and said I would think about it. Here's the thing, I'm also a repair-based contractor. Sometimes, I make a mistake and break something. We're all human, but our mistakes are our responsibility. I can't imagine breaking a customer's perfectly good thing and then just acting like, well, nothing I can do. Total BS. You can't find the part? Buy us a new unit. Too expensive? File an insurance claim. You came into my house, broke a new, working thing, and then left me high and dry. Completely unacceptable. Anyway, I thought about it, decided I don't want these clowns in my house again, and I don't want to keep asking them to act like adults with a sense of responsibility. I hired another company to fix the freon leak. They charged $100 more than what Precision quoted me but also did the assessment and repair the same day. That technician verified these pieces are from the "blower wheel," which is just another word for fan. I still have not resolved the issue with the fan Precision broke. They have a responsibility to make this right, but I'm sure it's on nobody's to do list. Maybe they read their reviews?

I was referred to Excel Window Tinting & Car Wraps by a friend when I was starting a new business. Money was tight, so I was looking for a fair deal. After we agreed on a design for my truck wrap, I was told it would be completed quickly. Instead, it took about three weeks before I got my truck back. At first, the wrap looked fantastic. Unfortunately, that didn't last. Within just a few weeks, parts of the wrap started peeling. I reached out multiple times and received little to no response. When my business didn't work out, I asked about having the already-peeling wrap removed. Even though it was failing, I was told it would cost me another $500 to remove it. To make matters worse, when it came time to pay, the final price was significantly higher than the original quote I had agreed to. That was a difficult surprise, especially since I was already on a tight budget. Fast forward three years: this truck has only been driven about 8,000 miles, yet the wrap is badly discolored and peeling in multiple areas. I specifically remember being told there was a five-year warranty, which gave me confidence in the purchase. I finally gave up one of my days off and drove back to the shop hoping to resolve the issue. The experience was incredibly disappointing. The owner seemed more interested in being on the phone than helping. At first, they actually suggested the peeling was a paint problem. I had to remind them, "You wrapped this truck." Only then did they acknowledge it. After that, there was no meaningful follow-up. I was told they didn't know who I was, couldn't locate my information, and that I needed to find my paperwork. I was then told the warranty was only one year, which completely contradicted what I remember being told when I purchased the wrap. From my perspective, I was misled about: The completion timeline. The final price. The warranty coverage. The level of customer service after the sale. And according to their records, I apparently don't even exist as a customer. I paid roughly $4,000 for what I believed would be a professionally installed wrap backed by a long-term warranty. If I had known it only carried a one-year warranty and would be peeling and fading after only 8,000 miles, I never would have spent that kind of money. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Excel Window Tinting & Car Wraps. I would encourage anyone considering a vehicle wrap to ask for every promise in writing--including pricing, warranty terms, and completion dates--before committing.
