I run a company that does communication work with nonprofits that serve impoverished and marginalized people in the US and around the world. We recently worked with PrintWest on a print and mail job (mailing small packets to hundreds of US locations). This was time sensitive so we repeatedly asked for first-class mailing and reiterated our condensed time frame. When it came time to do the mailing, our PrintWest rep chose to use a cheaper mailing method - despite our previous asks about first-class service and timing. Packets did not get to the recipients on time, and our client relationship was severely strained. That's bad. What's worse is that I confronted our sales rep Greg about this several times via telephone and email. I requested a refund of the mailing costs only (print job and costs were fine), since we should not have to pay to have our client relationships strained by the mistakes of a vendor. I've never received a response on my repeated requests - not a "absolutely let's make this work for you" or we're working on it" or a "we can't do it and here's way." Just radio silence. This is no way to treat loyal customers. I still think that PrintWest does a good job printing, and they're Seattle local and usually easy to work with. But apparently if they mess up, they're not willing to take responsibility or even respond to inquiries. That's enough for me to be done.

The total job I went in for was to print two color photos in 11x17" glossy pictures. Total cost was under $2.00. You read that right. You can't even buy a cookie for that price anymore!. This is the service I got for my 2 bucks. I brought in a frame I got at Goodwill, but did not think to disassemble it and clean the glass. Mesfin graciously took the stubborn brackets off the back, exposed the glass, took off the sticky price tag that was stuck on the glass, and Windexed both sides of the glass. He then unscrewed the thingy that you hang the picture to the wall which was attached to the back if the picture was to hang vertically. My picture needed to hang horizontally so he reattached the thingy so I could hang it properly. They printed both pictures in color which I sent to them via email. Then put the one in the frame and the other in a bag for me to take home and put on my refrigerator. Yes, I'm obviously a VIP. Haha. They are still in business after many years so my little job is not paying the rent. Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if all businesses had such customer service? Please don't go online to get your graphic design, web design, or printing services. Support this fantastic local business.

She also asked if I needed stakes and those little follow up questions that made the whole process so seamless. I sent in the art work I had but it was lacking the polish and high res images needed. Luckily Caitlin helped point me in the right direction and looped in graphic designer, Mikayla. I have to say- I use to work with Project Managers and graphic designers in my previous job and if I was still in that role, Id try to recruit Mikayla and Caitlin. They just understood the assignment, gave options ( not pushy at all though) and got the job done in record time. The communication also was top notch and honestly I can't see why Id go anywhere else from now on just from service alone. Parking to pick up was so easy and Caitlin even loaded the heavy boxes into my car for me! Alex and team worked with me on a LED flex neon sign and it turned out even better than expected…read more Lead time was super quick once I made a decision. Pricing totally reasonable for the sign. They will hang it for you for a cost, but I had a friend who hung it for me instead. I would have another sign made by them in a heartbeat! All being said, its also on the buyer (me, you, etc) to know what you want and basically have your design ready - that helped the process. But also, Signarama had great ideas, suggestions and feedback.

Plenty of parking in the shared lot and in all the items I've been there, there's not been a line or a long wait. They offer many print services that you can access day of and they don't have the same print minimums as some businesses.
