The FedEx Office Print & Ship Center in Shoreline has been one of the places my family and I have gone to for printing, shipping, and other miscellaneous services over the years. We even came here before it was FedEx, back when it was a Kinkos. We preferred the atmosphere and support to be creative from Kinkos, both the business and employees, and have frequented FedEx less than we did Kinkos. Most recently, I came to print a document yesterday, Thursday 28 December 2023. I had saved my document as a .pdf on a portable USB drive I stored on my car keys ring. The first print station I approached communicated on a screen that the printer was jammed. Making my way to another print station, it asked me to insert my card payment form. Once that was done, I was prompted to select a pre-authorization amount to be temporarily charged to my card. Then, once I got my total, that would be the final amount taken/withdrawn. I chose $5, the minimum amount, and my total came to $1.52. For my printing, accessing my document on a screen at the print station once my USB drive was inserted was straightforward. Though, the touch screen was a little slow to respond. I printed in color (my text was in pink and black). Printing the document, and the receipt, went without incident. The pink printed a little darker than the color tone in the document. I noted after I printed I had typed up "Scotland time zone" instead of "Seattle time zone"... whoops... wrong continent. Shipping items through here has been straightforward and prices fair. I had passport pictures taken here back in approximately 2008 and the photographer was professional. It can get a bit crowded at times in the store, though the parking lot tends to be okay. Traffic past the parking area can be steady, so I find using a little extra caution when maneuvering in and out of the parking lot can be worthwhile. read more

The only thing wrong with this place seems that they have been understaffed for years. It takes time to get service but the employees are always patient, never rushed, and want to make sure you leave happy. They have many services, including passport photos. Just hire more staff! read more

Been here a gazillion times. Conveniently located at the Shoreline-Edmonds border at Hwy 99 and 205th, same vast retail area as Home Depot and Costco. I find this easier parking wise than sites also visited in Seattle - Ballard, UDistrict, and Northgate and closer than the one in Lynnwood. Closes weekdays at 7pm and weekends at 6pm. Self serve scan, fax, and print with a debit or credit card can be completed from hard copies or via a USB stick. Other printing and shipping services available at the main counter. Most recent stop was on 5/24/23 to do photocopies for a passport renewal, noticed the amazing clarity and quality of the photocopies. Straightforward and assistance available when needed. read more

Placing my order via email for pick up was easy and efficient, with a quick reply from the store. Upon arrival for pick-up, within the window I gave, and after receiving the email to say that the order was complete and ready, I was less impressed. Including the store manager, two employees looked up to see me enter, both behind computers, neither helping another customer, and only one other customer in the shop (looking around, chatting with a third employee), it took a full minute for either of them to acknowledge me. No hello, no "I'll be right with you.", just ignored as I walked closer to the Print counter. The cost was much higher than expected, but the quality of the print and card stock paper were good. read more

I take all my FedEx and USPS packages to return here. In and out relatively quick and there's never more than one person ahead of me, if any. My only issue is for FedEx they can't scan the QR code you have to print out a shipping label to return. If you absolutely can't print out a shipping label you'll have to take it to the one up by Costco on 205th. read more

Jared was the one that assisted me starting from picking up the phone to actually assisting me as well at the store when I have arrived. I also just really have a great experience every time I come to this location. Like I remember this location being very nice, respectful, helpful and pleasant to my dad who speaks little English and whoever was working on that day helped him accomplish what my dad needed to get done. I spent $9 at this Fed Ex today. The store manager, who waited on me, told me I would see an additional $10 charge on my credit card until tomorrow. He said this is something Fed Ex does as a matter of routine. He could not tell me why FE does this. There was nothing wrong with my card and I paid in full. This seems unethical. I also dislike that Fed Ex and UPS donate primarily to the Republican Party, so we use it as seldom as possible. read more

I've been here once to get something blown up poster size to be used in my wedding. Took 25 minutes for the guy to take one piece of paper and blow it up to be 16x20 from 8.5x11 in color. Good grief. Also, the eye rolls and cadaver attitude equals no return service. They have a ton of candy and junk food on sale along with notebooks, toys, gag gifts and outdated seasonal items to try to fill in the gaps on the bottom line. I might come back to use the self-service machines but I don't see having any use for them. read more

Update #1 - 2016 10 Same deal. Went to ship a piece of plastic that was bubble wrapped and secure- value $1. 'Yea, uh, this is uh, not going to ship well. You're going to have to pay to have it repacked'. 'Dude, this is literally an empty toothpaste tube from my manufacturer. My level of caring is a solid ZERO.' 'yea, uh, we're going to have to open it and re box it with our supreme repackaging service'. 'I'm thinking you didn't hear me correctly, I don't care'. 'But, repacking, must, bigger box, @&$can't compute$&$@' -- and that's when the robot human exploded and the whole store started cheering. The remaining human employees lifted me on their shoulders and celebrated as they carried me out of the store- free from their robot overloard forever. I just left the Aurora Village FedEx store. I grew up in Shoreline so it is my stomping grounds. In today's "weird" world, your store made it not so weird. I called around looking for some one to laminate for me. My husband said "go to FedEx they can do it". I did call last night and they assured me they could do it while I waited. WELL, EvErYoNe was right. Sara and the other guy (sorry I didn't get his name) were fantastic. There were people in the store and they were Great at being kind, polite and letting me know they could help me. Got my laminating done, "THANK YOU SARA" and rung up and out of there in about 15-20 minutes.....No more looking for me when you are right in my back yard and extremely pleasant to work with.....Oh, and please thank the other guy there too, so sorry I didn't get his name. Amazing service and seamless teamwork transitions. I came here to drop off a lot of things that needed to be organized, consolidated, and packaged up. The boxes in the sizes I needed weren't available in the cubbies where they display them so I asked one of the guys working there if he could check in the back for other sizes. He came back out with three additional sizes of boxes of which he helped me figure out which would work best for my projects on hand. My overwhelming task was made easy by the team here. After the first person helped me get started I had some things to separate out and he went to help other customers. Without missing a beat another representative came over to check on me as I was finishing up my consolidation. The first guy knew where my boxes needed to go so he swapped customers with the guy who has just returned from break and helped finish my transaction. It was clear that this team works well together and keeps things moving - this is not something that other FedEx Office stores do well. Great work, team! Went to this FedEx this morning . The clerk was busy with another customer, so we waited patiently for approximately 15 minutes for the prior customer to complete her transactions. A minute before she finished, a female customer came, and barged up to the counter. The clerk told her that we we were next, but went on to serve the woman who barged in front. I wish this clerk would understand that you serve the person who was next , not the one who demanded service first. read more

I went there today to print my friend's baby shower invitations. They are printable invitations from Target & I asked them to run them through their printer using my Word doc (black text only) I brought with me. No problem, right? Only problem was, since apparently the invitations fit better through their color printer than their black ink printer, the lady wanted to charge me for the color printing costs, even though I was using only black ink from the color printer. In other words, rather than paying the normal 10 cents per sheet for the black ink, she wanted to charge me 53 cents per sheet for the color printer, even though I was only using black ink. Apparently running it through this beloved machine costs a premium of *five times* what the same exact materials cost. I was printing 50 invitations, so I was keeping an eye on cost per sheet. The shop I went to afterwards confirmed to me they should only be charging me the B & W price & are basically trying to take advantage of me. When FedEx's only argument when I ask why I'm being charged for the color ink even though I'm only using the black is that it's 'different machine,' I'll go elsewhere. I needed some business cards printed on short notice, and after trying Staples and OfficeMax I would up here. Their computer was able to read my dual-partition USB drive (half Mac, half PC) unlike those other two stores. On the down side, they only made half as many cards as I had ordered (50 instead of 100) and I didn't notice (who bothers counting?) until a couple days later. I returned to the store with no way to prove that I hadn't received the full 100 cards, but they agreed to print up a new batch anyway and even made a full new batch of 100 cards at no additional charge. read more

I took a package in for delivery - the first thing that is asked, what are you shipping (espresso cups/saucers) which puts them on alert and I was told the package was "squishy" - it did have some give but not enough to warrant a concern and you don't want to pack china so tightly as to have that be the cause of breakage. As as he's asking me if he can open it, the knife comes out before I can respond. His first comment - "the cups need to be individually wrapped" I politely responded that THEY WERE!. Next thing I know he's explaining how "they do it" and brings a larger box out. And before I let him go further, I asked "is there an additional charge for this?" And, of course there was. BUT WHY would you not inform a customer BEFORE you open up the box and want to repack it all. I nicely declined even though this is my second bad experience with a FedEx office (45th/university village is equally as bad). So I took the package, re-taped it (maybe I should have charged them for the additional packing material??) and took it to the Broadway location (broadway/roy) which is what I should have done in the first place. They took the package held it and had no issues (And I did bring up what just happened to me at that location) As it was ground, I just received notice from the recipient that everything was delivered perfectly with no issues. So beware that some FedEx branch offices will try and up-sell you strictly to pull more dollars out of you (as if shipping isn't expensive already). I will now only go to the FedEx on broadway (& roy) when I have to use FedEx because they know what they are doing and not trying to make every transaction a money grab. read more

In reality this place should really only get 3.5 stars. I like their customer service - they were friendly and helpful when you need help. However, if this is your first time at a FedEx, which it was for me, this place can be a little confusing. You can upload your document to their website prior or you can bring in your own storage (USB, CD, etc) and plug it into their big arse machines. Now, these machines are not hard to use, but some of them do not "read" the USB storage. It shows that the hard drive is on, but the machine does not read the files - FAIL! So when this happened, one of their friendly staff helped me up at the front. Sure there isn't much of a problem, but if you are bringing in your whole portable hard drive and you have files that you don't want others to see, be sure to take them out of your hard drive before going there as the staff would have to go through where you put your file to print it. The other issue I had was that this place is too expensive. I made a one page color print out on card stock for about $1.50. Sure that doesn't seem much but on the grand scheme, one one piece of paper...that is a rip off. Other than privacy of my hard drive and overall cost, I will most likely return if I need to print urgently in colour! read more

Normally I'm pretty easy going about standing on line - especially during the holidays. However when there are 9 customers in the store who have been there longer than my 7 minutes (yes I timed it) and only one employee is helping said customers, I start to get annoyed. What FRUSTRATES me even more is the fact that they won't accept my box as is because it "..clearly doesn't have enough packing in it" and that he could do it for me - so you know I asked if that was free or would cost me he replies in a condescending tone "well if that's important to you, then I could do it at no charge." Seriously? That's what passes for customer service here? It's the tone people. And it's all so ironic because we've all gotten fed ex packages with the contents rolling around free and easy. If you need a quick place to print or copy your documents, this is the place to be. The place includes three work stations for you to use. It also has printing machines where you can print or copy your documents using your preferred method like a USB. The printers are very easy to utilize and user friendly. There is always a person there to help if you need anything. The printers offer printed receipts at the end making it convenient not to request it from the counter. There are pictures printing machines as well. The place dose not get busy, so you don't have to wait in a queue. read more

Charged me full price for used boxes. They insisted the boxes had not been used. I pointed out all the tape left over, the stains on the boxes, and how flimsy they were from obvious usage. I use this FedEx frequently when I for shipping and work projects. I am always greeted within seconds of walking in. The staff is fast, efficient and knowledgeable. They also do a great job with any binding and printing needs. Turnaround time is fast, rarely have I had to wait long for a project to be finished. read more

This location is awful. People here are always unfriendly. I just tried to drop a package off in a box that had been used once (but will still in good condition) and was told they'd have to charge me to repackage it before they'd accept the drop off (the shipping label was already paid for). I ship things ALL the time and have never been told this. I just left another FedEx location and they said the package was fine and accepted it no problem. This location is a waste of time. I just went in to get a photograph printed and both of their self service machines were completely incapable of connecting to my phone or working at all. They have no way to print photographs without these bunk machines. Complete waste of time when I need these prints for an audition tomorrow. read more
