She may ask you a question like have you ever thought about an angle here or layer there but no pressure. I went in for a simple haircut, but was still taken care of very well. Everyone was friendly upon entering and throughout my service. The products they use are Eufora, which I looked into more after my appointment, and it seems to be very high quality. The salon itself was clean and the decor was modern. I honestly broke down crying. I refused to go ahead with my highlighting service when nothing was being done to correct this mistake. I also had to literally plead with my stylist to give me a proper haircut when she decided to just trim my hair, slap some curling conditioner on my hair and call it a "curly cut." She kept spraying water to make it look more manageable although admitted curly haircuts are usually done dry. My hair has fully dried now and my curls are so uneven and they look terrible. The front desk staff are also incredibly rude and unprofessional on the phone and in person. The front desk attendant threw my receipt at me after I was done there. Highly do not recommend this salon for anyone wanting to go from black to a lighter color with 3C above curly hair. If you want to leave a hair salon feeling like you actually got what they paid for, this place is NOT it. Completely unprofessional and make dark haired girls feel very gaslighted that I had to tell my stylist up front that she was not listening to what I wanted. Paid $215 for this absolute mess. Why would I want to go to a hair salon to achieve this base color result when a CVS box dye could easily achieve the same??

I could have gone in and risked staff and clients however, having a medical background in infectious diseases and vaccine research at Johns Hopkins I chose to cancel when I was advised to by my physician. I was charged $75 on an old credit card that didn't even belong to me. The owner has refused to return my calls. I found a new salon that is willing to await my test results. I gave them my physicians phone number as well as the confirmation for my test. They did not care about me, their clients or staff. It was all about the money!
