Took my 2018 Jeep Compass in for a detailing this week. It had been under trees where sap had dripped on the vehicle and had set in over a period of months, and I had tried everything to get it off with no luck. The car also had pollen, dust and scratches on the exterior and the interior had dirty windows. There was water staining on the windows as well. Travis did a stellar job on all of these issues. He was able to eliminate the water stains on the windows and get rid of the sap, all in a few hours. He was reasonably priced for that level of detail and was pleasant to work with. I visited Mark (the owner) about a week ago with a severe problem I was having with my windows. I had a greasy film on the front and rear windows, and a haze on the sides. They were preventing me from driving safely. Being new to the area, this was the first business I found with a Google search. I stopped by in the morning since I was out and about. Mark's appointment for that day (and the next two days; it was a large job) had cancelled on him, so he was able to look at my car on the spot. Lucky timing on my part. He had a paste of sorts that his son had developed and tried a bit of it on a sample spot of my windows. It made a huge difference! I told him I could come by tomorrow around lunchtime to get the work done. I got there the next day and he along with his son Travis got right to work. It's a very small shop, so they found me a chair to sit in and hang out with them while they worked. They were very down to earth and sociable. They also worked diligently to service my car. When all was said and done, my windows looked amazing, a thousand times better. They also charged me a very reasonable price for their labor. Much lower than I expected, for sure. If you need any kind of detailing work done, come see Mark and Travis. They're total ace in my book. They also talked about possibly moving to a larger shop soon if an arrangement they're working on goes through, so that would mean even more space to do their awesome work! read more

I've used auto detailers many times. I chose to try pristine auto detailing in Ashland mostly because of the reviews I saw and the convenience of them being here in town. I'm sorry to say I'm extremely disappointed!! While inspecting the car upon pick up Mike and i are both litterally wiping bug guts, road grime, and simple dirt off various places on my car. NOT A PIN SIZED FEW. but He insisted they had done the full detail including claybar on all the paint. Also, the windows on the inside were not all cleaned! I wipe light grime off a window in front of him, he still insisted the windows have been cleaned. There's still remnants of bugs stuck at the top edge of my front window and roof, on the front of my side mirrors, and all over the front of the car. There's light, easily wiped off, grime all around the front and lower half of the car. There's still light dust in the vents and on the dash and instrument cluster. There was very little dust in the car when I brought it in. There's smudges on the dash from my rubber cell phone mount that are easily wiped right off if they had wiped the dash at all. The exterior "cleaning" is completely ridiculous! I took in a very clean, non smoker, nice paint, no damage, low milage 4 door passenger car to get a simple 250$ standard(list of services included)Detail Service. Because I take good care of my cars. He claims 4 employees worked on my car for 5 hours. And He's claimed I'm a difficult customer. I dropped my car off at 9:30 and He called me at 1:45 to tell me the car was done, That's not 5 hours. And there wasn't 4 people there when I left. There was only 2 employees there and Mark was not there! I was told he's running late and should be in soon!? 5 hrs.. 4 employees. Just simply not true. I don't feel I'm a difficult customer. I absolutely feel I received a glorified car wash, for $250. Many of the services I paid for were obviously just not done, or not done completely. Only 3 out of 6 windows were cleaned on the inside! The front window was not one of them! I wasn't expecting to get back a show car, but I was expecting to get back a clean car. read more

How does $250-350 to wash my car sound to you? Yes it sounds crazy to me too. I'm on a road trip and my cars dirty. So it's a Porsche Macan. But it's just a car. I wanted it washed and dried to clean up the road dirt. Easy right? I thought maybe $50 at a detail shop for a simple hand wash. But no. 250-350 was my quote. I am not a newbie with cars or detailing. But that's just dumb. If they didn't want to do it they should have said sorry we're too busy. But that's insulting. To me anyway. read more

It's no wonder this family details Air Force One. Air Force One? Yeah, that's the President's plane! When the plane's managers were looking for the best, they found it with Pristine Detailing in Ashland, Oregon. And, luckily, I did too. Last summer, after a weekend of driving the filthy roads of a burned-out national forest, and with car windows rolled down sucking-in that road grime, I knew the drive-through car wash would never get my car clean. I got the idea of getting a real detailing but was shocked by the cost. However, with a car as foul as mine was, I thought, OK, I'll take a chance and see if it's worth it. The wonderful family that runs this business knows something about detailing a car. In fact, they really know everything. And after a full day of working on my car, it looked better than the day I drove it home from the dealership. Seriously. But, I wondered, might it just look superficially beautiful? That's when I gave it the "white glove test" and I went deep to see if they skipped anything. I checked in the wheel wells. Scrubbed. I checked under and up behind the dash board. Not a speck of dust. I examined the edges of the doors.... I mean, who cleans the edges of their doors? Well, Pristine Detailing does. Try as I might, I could not find even one spot on my Rav4 that had not been cleaned and polished! I was overjoyed by the excellence of the work Pristine Detailing did on my car. And when was the last time most of us were more than 100% satisfied by work we've had done and paid for? So there's my story. And with it I give Pristine Detailing my highest recommendation. I spilled about 30 oz of a clear beverage with a small amount of sugar on the front, passenger floor. I called Pristine and they were able to see me immediately. They stopped the bigger job they were doing and took care of the floor where the spill was (plus the splatters on the seat and console). I was in and out of there in less than 20 minutes and they sent me on my way with no charge! Carpet is clean, dry and smells fresh. I will definitely be back when I need a full detail (or if I have another spill!). read more

Absolutely terrible! I brought my beautiful 530i BMW to this place and $130 and 2 hours later my car was left with smudge marks on the trunk and door. The wheel wells were hastily done. Spots left with with grime and grease. The cursory inspection missed what was obvious when I got home and looked more carefully. Beneath sub-par! Would not recommend this shop to anyone. In fact, my profession requires me to talk to several local people a day. Trust me, the word will be shouted far and wide. Stay away!! read more
