For the last 12 years I've had 3 vehicles and went to 3 different car washes located in OC. After…read moremoving away from OC, I still returned to one in particular since I had good rapport with them. However, I was looking for one closer to me and Grand Car Wash stood out. I recently went in for the first time. I had questions about the washes and the guy who wrote up my ticket answered one single question which I couldn't understand what he was saying and instead of helping me narrow down which wash addressed my car needs, I was left to just choose one. I ultimately went for the luxury wash for $23.99. I had to remove my key and organize some things to put in the trunk and I felt rushed to get out by the same employee who wrote my ticket. Hmm I'm not too thrilled about that interaction. Afterwards I went inside to pay and decided to ask if this place has a rewards program. The lady behind the register then explains to me they do. From the way she explained it to me, you really have to trust that they are adding your purchases to their system as you are left with no proof of purchase from them after you give your ticket to the employees who polish your car. Basically, after you leave them your name and number, they tie purchases to your license plate number in their system and you get a free wash after the 10th wash or so. I went in at 320 and my car was literally ready by 345. It was a moderately busy day, but I appreciate how fast they worked. I was able to get a boba drink nearby while i waited, returned for about 10 mins, and my car was ready. I tipped $7, did a quick walkaround, and everything seemed okay. Overall my first experience was okay. I paid $31 total which is pretty standard. The plus for me is they're local and they're fast.
