I've been here several times and have spent a couple of thousand dollars on various products and procedures. Overall, my experiences initially were very positive--the staff has always been friendly, and the services started out great. My most recent service was a laser treatment (similar to IPL but more advanced) intended to treat dark spots, which cost around $600. During the treatment, my entire face was treated except for the high cheekbone area beneath my eyes, which unfortunately is where my darkest spots are. At my follow-up appointment, I pointed this out and was told that the area had been missed because the eye covers blocked it. I was advised to schedule another appointment to treat those spots, at an additional cost of $10 per zap. While it was frustrating that this wasn't addressed during the original treatment--especially given the cost--I agreed to book another appointment to have the areas treated. When I arrived for that appointment, I was informed that one of the spots would need to be reviewed by a doctor before they could proceed. This was surprising, as I've been in approximately five times, had multiple face scans, and discussed my dark spots in detail on several occasions. At no point prior to this visit was it mentioned that a doctor's review would be required--particularly before scheduling an appointment that was specifically meant to address that spot. The overall impression I was left with is that unless you are booking a higher-priced treatment, your time and concerns are not a priority. While I absolutely respect referring a client to a specialist when medically appropriate, it was disappointing that this requirement was only raised once I arrived for an appointment where the total charge would have been minimal. Unfortunately, this resulted in wasted time and left me questioning the consistency of care. read more

Instead of using FACEAPP or PHOTOSHOP for your photos, you should just head down to Pristine Med Spa in Ridgecrest, Ca!! Like you, I used to have to use all those lighting filters, "smooth lines," and "lip plumping" (or make duck lips, lol) features to make myself look halfway decent in a FB or IG photo. But every since I've discovered Pristine Med Spa? Filters are a thing of the PAST, BABY!!! Not to be vain, but I look absolutely AMAZING now, because she is an EXPERT at making you look your very best, and personally, I think I actually look BETTER than I did in my 20's, and I'm almost 50 years old!!! Like you, I was scared at first to trust anyone with my face, ("what if they messed me up like some of the actresses I've seen? YIKES! ) But honestly? She will NOT even allow you to go that extreme, she flat refuses to do it, if it won't look natural! This women is sooooo true to her craft, that she would rather lose your business than mess up your face! I've had multiple procedures done there now too: Micro Dermabrasion, Botox, lip fillers, and today, I had threads done... OMG, talk about INSTANT GRATIFICATION! I looked in the mirror, and I honestly looked like I went back in time to my mid to late 20's, only somehow, I am now PRETTIER than back then! I have no idea how, I swear she is magical, like a modern day Michelangelo of beauty! Let me put it this way, I pray to God she NEVER retires, because I will trust my face to NO ONE ELSE but her... I was in town on business and had a free day, so I booked a laser hair appointment with Silvia. I began asking skin care questions, and she gave away her lunch hour to talk to me about my skin, make pictures and demonstrate products and ideas I should consider even knowing I live on the east coast and it would be doubtful if I would ever be back in town. If I lived here I would absolutely trust Silvia for all of my skincare and aging concerns. She is amazing as is her staff. I also had a facial with Traci who was also superbly knowledgeable! If there were 10 stars I would give them 10. Silvia is as good as it gets when it comes to making you look good. This isn't cheap but neither is it 1000's of dollars. All who work here are great individuals who will really listen to you. I have been coming here for almost 5 years. Pristine is an excellent business. Sylvia is a registered nurse and highly qualified. She attends ample training for any procedure that she offers. She is highly professional and she will really listen to what you want. Personally I wanted to enhance my look and not look fake. Sylvia will work with you to get the look that you want. She also stands by her work if you are not happy. I feel younger than I did five years ago because of her care. She and Virginia are pleasant and helpful to deal with. So fi you have considered going to the Med Spa go ahead and take the plunge. They won't do anything that you don't feel comfortable with and Sylvia will work with you to give you what you want. I have become a regular customer. Went there for hair removal and suddenly I am getting several treatments because she is wonderful. She is always cognizant of my price concerns and never offers things that don't work. She has pictures as proof too. I have now had Botox in my armpits to reduce smell and sweat(she didn't just sell me the most, she helped address the worst areas without spending more than necessary) I also have hair removal and it's so painless and amazing!!
