I found out about Pristine through word of mouth. I checked out their Instagram and saw enough nice looking nails that I decided to make an appointment. I was easily able to get to their appointment page via their Instagram. I made a Wednesday appointment with Alanis for 10:30. I got there at 10:26, was called to start appointment at 10:38 and was done with my full set acrylic by 12:40. All in all I had a good experience. My nails came out looking almost exactly like the pic. I was most impressed that she was able to get the French manicure likes so even free hand. The vibe at the salon is a busy/active one. The music played while I was there was Latin & Top 40. There is one TV. They thankfully had the close caption on so I could entertain myself my watching that. Another reviewer said they offer you a beverage of your choice. I was not offered anything before, during or after. Included are my before and after pix. Alanis took some at different points in the service. I wanted to include them in this review. If she send them to me than I will update. I gave them 4 stars because they're one of the better options for the area. I'd love to find a NY/NJ quality spot here but I'm not sure I will. Maybe closer to Dover/Wilmington but lower DE is very hit or miss when it comes to a lot of things. read more

Nails were not what i asked for, first women had an attitude whole time doing my nails which made it feel very awkward. Then proceeded to not give me the length i asked for, and kept getting frustrated when I asked her to make them shorter. Then charges 15 dollars for french tip only on my two pointer fingers. Overall her vibe was just irritable the whole time and unhappy with my nails and design. And she proceeded to do the french tip when I asked for dots instead. Spending $90 on nails with only 4 fingers with design and charged me for length when I asked for shorter. read more

the salon is always clean, organized and the staff are very professional. Thlet always use highend products. They offer you a beverage of your choice. They accept walkins or appointments with their highly qualified nail technicians. I have been going to Pristine's for years. I recommend it highly. Wife sent me here to get my feet done. Set the appointment 2 weeks in advance. Get there early. 60 minutes still waiting. Playing songs with "F*cking" in the lyrics with little kids (7 and 12 per the mom) plus the front worker had her daughter up there also probably no older than 9 herself. They act like it's a bar. i went for a gel fill and signature pedicure. The fill was good (not great) but good. The pedicure was terrible. 4 hours after I was home my toenails looked terrible. They were still tacky and the polish was uneven and had spots that weren't covered. I called and was told that regular polish takes a long time to dry. I must have dinged it on something. They said a should use gel polish and that won't happen. I told them I sat under the dryer 10-15 minutes and the girl sprayed them. Customer service was awful. Told me i could come back and get them polished again. Why would I? you're basically saying it's going to happen if I use regular polish. Will be looking for another place. read more

Wanted to do something special with my daughter , my daughter made the booking , there was plenty of room yet they sat us at opposite ends of the salon , my tech couldn't speak a word of English, the tech next to her was translating , she filed my nails down so far they hurt , I kept pulling my hands away , once she was done I did make a complaint to tiffany the manager as my nails were way to thick and very uneven fast forward a couple of weeks and my nails lifted and where she had applied the tip had come away cracking my natural nail all the way through to my nail bed , this happened on 6 of my nails , I did call and was asked to send pics I was told they guarantee their nails for 5 days , my daughter also had problems with her nails but not as bad as mine , it's going to take at least 6 months before my nails will look somewhat decent , beware !!! Oh and I was also informed that all their technicians speak English very well ... what a frigging joke !!!!! read more

Came to Pristine for a long overdue pedicure. At first glance I liked this salon. Everything was neat and tidy and everyone was friendly. Many stations for nails and pedicures with a separate area in the back for other services. Polishes in the front were well stocked and I didn't feel rushed to pick out a color. Zariu did my pedicure, and she was great! She was very gentle shaping up my nails so I experienced NO pain, even on the sides of the nails where it's usually tender. GREAT leg and foot massage. All tools were sealed in packages and new. My heels feel soft as a baby! She even took extra time getting the polish JUST right, then helped me on with my flip flops so I wouldn't mess it up :-) I will definitely return! read more
