NI subscribed to Private Jet Card Comparisons after my husband suggested I look into flights for a Memorial Day weekend trip. In the past its just been us and our two kids who are both under the age of 5. My sister decided to join us with her family, but her husband was away on business so she was not sure if she should meet us or if we should look into a shared cost to all arrive together. My husband flies privately for work but has rarely traveled for work in the past year. I started wondering if we could somehow apply his miles or his jet share in the same way air travel a commercial airlines would with a Frequent Flier programs. I didn't know the first thing about how to figure out if my husbands miles or membership were transferable. Would his jet company of choice accommodate two toddlers? Could we bring our dog? What if we wanted to stop and pick up my brother-in-law, being that our house on the Cape seems 'along the way' from our departure city. That being said I had absolutely no interest in beginning to do my own research on private jet programs. Why hasn't someone come up with a way where I can look up the various selling points of different private jet program and have to look up each program individually? If I could evaluate everything at once then this and have access to one website instead of weighing in on what factors that came to mind for no rhyme or reason. I would be pretty disappointed if I selected a private jet program that had restrictions on last-minute changes because that van be a potential dealbreaker for me. Naturally I like to avoid the hassle of commercial airport travel but it is not a requirement. However, fewer hassles make happier kids and I am entirely on board for anything to cut the stress that inevitably comes with air travel. I also had little interest in doing the footwork to get the information that might be helpful. There is no other program out there to my knowledge, and when I found this website I did my due diligence because for $250 I needed to be sure I knew what I was getting for that cost. I am an attorney by trade and my research skills are top-notch. There are a few mentions comparing some private jet programs but how could I be sure the informarion was not only from a reputable source but that it was current. So many private jet companies are around now that I had never even heard of. The $250 buys you a spreadsheet that is easy to use once your payment is processed; you receive an access code that can not be copied or transfered and you're set. If I had questions (I did) the website directed me to the owner's contact who responded to my email almost immediately. The information is so comprehensive, I was able to configure the best program should each child wish to invite a friend. Suddenly the logistics of coordinating how to get to us all there was totally do-able and in fact a better deal for all of us as opposed to booking a commercial flight.
