I still use the unit to this day (7 years later) for my lawn roller, leaf collector, dump cart, salt spreader, and a sulky. I walked in and told them the deal to be surprised with top notch customer service- not to mention a natural behind the scenes look at their whole process! Which is a well oiled machine! Huge set of resources with a magnitude of people for each job. I was impressed by retail floor / availability of crew for greeting and with the behind the scenes crew. While calling around to try and find out what this charge was about, I was first told that it was my co-pay. After I informed them I already paid my co-pay, I was then told that my equipment was on a rent to own contract and I would have to pay $40 per month for 10 months. Imagine my surprise, because 5 months after I received my equipment, I was told that I was on a rent to own contract. I was never told anything about this arrangement until 5 MONTHS AFTER I RECEIVED THE EQUIPMENT! I scoured my paperwork and couldn't find any thing that indicated these terms. I then called the office again and a rather rude person told me that this was my problem because as a consumer I should be aware of things like this. Funny, as a business and as a provider, I would have thought that you would be required to tell me exactly what the arrangements are instead of sliding them in after I have been using the equipment for 5 months. I asked her to please send me the paperwork that indicates this arrangement and what I received was the paperwork that I already had that said nothing about a rent to own arrangement. They did send a representative to my house with my equipment when I initially contracted with them for it and he was OK but not really super helpful ( beside the fact that he never mentioned a rent to own arrangement)

Lincare is perhaps one of the biggest suppliers, but is one of the worst I've ever had to deal with. If you live in Northern Chautauqua County let me suggest The Care Center. I should have known better then to end up with this Home Care when I had such a hard time getting in touch with a respiratory therapist at Lincare. With little time to get everything set up with my CPAP it took countless phone calls to Lincare before I was actually contacted by one of their Respiratory Therapists and a home appointment was finally set up - days before I ran out of time (I travel a lot and was going to be back on the road - it took 5 days to get to the right person). Once the appointment was set up I THOUGHT things would start going smoothly. However, my thoughts were incorrect. My calls once again for help went unanswered and promises for returned calls were never answered again. I was forced into contacting a local Home Care/Medical Device company. Also - Lincare had me paying 50% of the costs associated with the CPAP and the on-going supplies. Once I contacted the local company - I found out my insurance covered the CPAP and supplies at 100%. I find Lincare to be completely unprofessional - dishonest and too large of a company to really care about the needs of their clients! I urge everyone to seek help from another company and save yourself time, money and a lot of frustrations. The only reason this place is getting any star is because I cannot rate it without giving it at least one star - but again - I wouldn't go to them again for anything!
