Instead of making it clear that medicare did NOT cover the full expense of treatment, they let me run up almost $300 bill. The bill was not presented to me until I had quit going for treatment. When Back and Body was not able to help, I went to another chiropractor. The 2nd chiropractor knew right up front there would be an additional cost of almost $20 per treatment. When I asked Back and Body why they didn't let me know sooner, I was told I signed a paper saying I would be responsible for anything that was not covered by insurance. I do want to say that Dr Dabbs HURTS.

From then she had me on a combination of stretching and strengthening exercises to help target the area of weakness and pain. She also gave me a series of stretches to do at home on my own. They made a scheduling error, charged me an incorrect copay, and threatened to call the police when I asked for a refund. An honest apology for the mistake & correcting it would have been enough but instead the office manager threatened me with calling the police saying I "verbally abused a healthcare professional". I didn't realize advocating for myself was verbal abuse. The doctor corrected it and refunded me, but the staffs behavior was completely unacceptable. To top it all off, they couldn't provide me with my last lab work done 6 months ago because they were having issues "logging into their account" & didn't show that I even came in 6 months ago in their systems. I had to provide them a receipt to show that I did come in and had my labs done. So who knows if my blood work that I was charged for 6 months ago was even seen/looked at by the doctor.
