We've used them three times so far and are surprised there are any negative reviews on this page. Corky is one of the most thorough home inspectors with which we've ever worked. My father has been in the real estate business for 38 years and I have helped him and dealt with many inspections that are sub par, so I know the difference between quality and half-ass work. It took us a few interviews to find Corky, but man are we glad we did. Not only was his report one of the most thorough we've seen, but he took time to walk through each page with us and detail every item he found (even if it was a minute issue). He saved us potentially tens of thousands on two homes we were going to purchase that had a lot of hidden issues. When we decided to go with a new build for simplicity we still called him to take a look and he found issues that we were able to get fixed right away. Even the builder's representative said he's never seen such a thorough inspection before. I used Pro Check when I moved to Scottsdale. I used a Realtor to rent out a house and since I was unsure of what I was getting into, the landlord allowed me get the home inspected to make sure there were no issues. The person who lived in the home before me died many years ago, and the house was vacant...I wanted to make sure nothing weird was going on. They showed up on time, were pretty thorough, and were pretty friendly. It's not as as exciting as some of my other reviews, but then again, getting your house inspected isn't as exciting as grabbing a bite to eat, now is it? read more

I would not recommend this company. They were at my place for hours when I had an inspection done a few months ago. Seemed very thorough and professional. Weeks later I had realized more than half of my wall outlets do not work, even though they said they were"good". My furnace has been creating a smell since I moved in. They never noticed nor saw the soot that was building up inside the furnace. Now I need to buy a new furnace and get an electrician here to fix wall outlets they had said were " good". Sorry but I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

I bought a new home through redfin and was recommended this home inspection service but they did not find the problems I am continually finding with the ac. There were very noticeable leakages in duct work for downstairs ac unit that should have been captured. The airflow downstairs is very noticeable weaker compared to the airflow upstairs and these things were not found on my home inspection. I want a refund because I have at least paid to get my duct work fixed once and we still have issues . read more

This is the perfect example of an inspector not taking responsibility and blaming a buyer. Thanks for proving my point yet again. You continue to point the finger at me even though I paid your husband to be my eyes and find such issues in need of attention. The seller mentioned in the SPDS that the tree "may" be affecting the wall but your husband did not. It was my mistake in taking it that since your inspection did not mention it that it was not in need of repair. I hope my review will help other buyers be more aware. read more

Pro check is the best company from 3 others I used prior when I purchased properties. They are honest, fast, and can be trusted. They will give you a very detailed report; I got 52 pages with pictures. The inspector gave some idea how to fix small repairs. They are awesome if I could give them 6 starts, I would. read more

What an impressive company to use for our home inspection. I actually found them on yelp. They were fast, friendly and thorough. Susan and Corky were very professional and extremely thorough on the inspection. Having this company inspect a home that is 10,000 sqft plus is a task in itself and they handled it impeccably along with offering suggestions for improvements that were very helpful and creative. The follow-up inspection report was very detailed along with pictures. They even did a walk thru of the property to go over everything. I found Corky on yelp and after doing some calling around I did some more research and finally chose to call ProCheck.. and I am so glad I did. What an AMAZING Experience! Corky was prompt, courteous, and incredibly helpful... very personable too! He was very patient with me since I was a new home owner and explained everything in great detail. He gave me pointers and things to look out for in the future. Considering the house was over 60years old, he knew exactly where to find everything that was original and what has been replaced in the house. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thorough inspection. BTW... He's rates were actually about $100-$150 cheaper than other inspectors out there which was a great plus!!! and that included the Termite Inspection too. read more
