I TRIED to give them business. We have been displaced since LAST AUGUST due to Hurricane Idalia and…read moreare finally re-dry walled, and ready for the last pieces before we move in. I called. Twice. And was willing to give them the business based on. reviews. I have 3 closets to be done. I have pics of the custom closets that we had before and said I just want it replicated. Nope. Due to the fact that I will be traveling the entire month of May, I said I could have them come out and look, measure, etc. Then just give me the quote and I'll pay immediately, as long as they are in by June 1. The girl answering the phone said I HAVE to come to Wildwood to see what they design and see it on the big screen. Basically, the big, fancy selling pitch. I again explained that I cannot do that, but they can send me drawings and I'll ok them by email. Nope. The selling pitch is REQUIRED. Seriously? I just said they had the job! Let's just skip the hard sell and move forward. Nope again. I guess business must be pretty darn good to throw away an easy sale of 3 custom closets. Don't waste your time. I'm thinking their pricing must be high if they need that kind of time to hard sell. I'll just move on - but, I hope someone from the company sees this and realizes that, especially after Covid and everyone going to Zoom selling, that they are missing a large percentage of the population that doesn't need all of that - they just need shelving. Nice shelving, yes, but not San hour drive to sell me what I was trying to already pay for. That's just a bad business plan.

NOT HELPFUL. LESS THAN ZERO STARS! DON'T USE THIS SERVICE…read more On 4/30/26, I called Precision Garage Door Service of Ocala, spoke with a sales/dispatcher person who could not give me, or refer me to someone who could give me, an estimate for a: 3/4 HPc, belt-driven Liftmaster garage door opener (with interior wall controller, exterior key-pad, and 2 remote controllers) and its installation. That's all I wanted, at the time. I was shopping around. Instead, she wanted to schedule a tech/installer to come to my house to give me an estimate. What? It's a joke, right? Why do I need or want that? How can the company stay in business doing that? Everybody knows that my request would be the minimum cost, because depending on other things, e.g., the status of the garage door springs, the cost would be more. Countrymens Inc. and RO-MAC, both, in Leesburg, FL will give you an over-the-phone or email estimate without an in-person, fee-based-visit, and/or they will send you an email message with an attached estimate/invoice. ------- On 7/17/26, Sat, about 11:50, the owner sent a response. Part of "Precision Garage Door Service of Ocala" response is below, NOTE the quotation marks! "Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.... As a service-based company, we do not maintain a standard price list for garage door installations (?) because each home and garage door system has unique requirements..." The owner's response above is so much "malarkey," for want of better terminology. I'D ASKED FOR A SPECIFIC ESTIMATE, THAT IS, THE COST OF REMOVING MY EXISTING GARAGE DOOR OPENER AND REPLACING IT WITH A LIFTMASTER 3/4 HP GARAGE DOOR OPENER AND ITS ACCESSORIES. FYI: 1. THERE IS, AND MUST BE, A DEFINITIVE/SPECIFIED PRICE FOR THE EQUIPMENT (in this case, A LIFTMASTER 3/4 HP GARAGE DOOR OPENER AND ITS ACCESSORIES). THIS MUST BE A GIVEN. 2. ANOTHER MUST BE/ GIVEN IS THE INSTALLER'S/ TECH'S WAGE/HR. WHAT ELSE IS NEEDED FOR A BARE MINIMUM INSTALLATION ESTIMATE? WE ALL KNOW THAT ANY WORK ABOVE/ IN ADDITON TO THE BARE MINIMUN IS EXTRA (e.g., replacing garage spring/s and/or pulley) ! EVERYONE KNOWS THAT! RIGHT? THE OWNER'S (Precision Garage Door Service of Ocala) RESPONSE IS INADEQUATE, UNRESPONSIVE, AND, IN MY VIEW, A DOWN-RIGHT A FRUAD-LIE! IF YOU CAN'T GET AN OVER-THE-PHONE ESTIMATE ON THE COST OF A GARAGE DOOR OPENER, REMOVAL OF AN EXISTING ONE, AND TECH COST FOR THAT, CALL COUNTRYMEN S INC OR RO-MAC, BOTH, IN LEESBURG, FL.
