I'm stronger, more aligned, and more confident in my body. I can see why people keep at this practice for the long haul -- there's always more to learn! Bellevue Pilates is the real deal. I was shocked to find out Main Street pilates was able to completely remove both reviews (Guess I can't trust class passes rating system).This place is a public health issue, I am aware this is a political issue for some people, but our state has requirements businesses have to follow for public safety, and this studio apparently thinks it's about belief. By the way I was never contacted by the studio to say it was a mistake, or given any explanation.

I was surprised to see there wasn't a yelp location for Technique, but couldn't help but add one since this Studio is my favorite on Mercer Island. They offer pilates (group classes and personal training) as well as barre classes. Personally I have tried both types of group classes and have enjoyed a challenging, but fun workout experience. If you are debating I would suggest going for it - they even offer the first class for FREE. All the instructors are great and will customize even the class workouts to what your body can do/needs and the upbeat music and energy really holds you accountable so you aren't slacking (like I do when I try to workout from home and end up taking breaks or sitting down). The studio itself is located in a cute shopping center area with parking spaces in front that are usually available. Parking is free and pretty easy as well. For classes I would recommend checking out their website and booking online to make sure you have a space. Definitely a great place to workout at any starting level of fitness, highly recommend!!! After using the hot tub, my…read moredaughter developed a rash that was later diagnosed by her doctor as hot tub folliculitis ("hot tub rash"). What initially seemed minor quickly escalated into a much more serious, full-body condition requiring an ER visit and follow-up care with a dermatologist. This has been an incredibly stressful and painful experience for our family, all stemming from what should have been a safe and well-maintained facility. I did contact management to report what happened. While they stated that their cleaning and maintenance procedures are within guidelines, that response was frustrating given the outcome and the severity of my daughter's condition. Proper sanitation of hot tubs is critical, and based on our experience, I would urge others to be cautious. Unfortunately, I can't recommend using the hot tub facilities here.

Once the entire family met up, we climbed back into the car and headed to Bellevue. Not sur if it was due to the time. But we were surprised there was a lot of parking available. We spent a good 2-hrs here which included getting lost and finding other street entries into the botanical park from a school and from other busy street corner at the bottom of the park. Nice and shaded, quiet little creeks, plenty of seating for those that were inspired to journal, plenty of elderly people using this time to exercise and stretch. We enjoyed the different areas like the swinging bridge, the Japanese garden and even the little cafe they have there. Fairly priced items and plenty of tables to enjoy a refreshment and snack. By the time we were done, the gift shop was already closed. So I took the opportunity to drop a donation into the box instead.
