This is an exceptional gym. First joining this gym I was nervous of not being familiar with equipment and being a beginner. I have been working out here for almost a year now and have not once felt judged or watched. Love this gym. I've been training here for the last six months or so after trying several other locations in Bellevue, Redmond, and Kirkland over the years. The equipment is in fantastic shape and the gym is always clean and organized. They have a fantastic variety of free weights and machines and can accommodate almost any type of training. As other reviewers have noted, the location is very convenient, there's dedicated parking, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! Update after 2 years of working out here. Still *love* this gym. Wanted to add that I've been doing PT sessions (8x a month) with their personal trainers, Jeremy and Andrew. Can't recommend them enough! Both know their stuff, provide excellent feedback, support, and motivation, and something that didn't occur to me ahead of time - they help get the weights/exercises setup, which makes my time in the gym that much more efficient! The gym is going to continue adding new equipment, and they have some great plans for the future. I'm excited to see what comes. read more

Feel obliged to review 23 Fit Club because it is a special place. Start with the location. For me couldn't be better. Across the street from work and has free parking. Victor, one of the owners and manager, keeps the place meticulous. I regularly see Victor walking around making sure everything is in its place and clean. Next, the people who come there are interested in getting in shape. It's not a gym to socialize. I have been a long-time member of the Bellevue Club, and frankly it is as much as a social club as it is to get in shape. That does not interest me. Then there is the equipment. Everything is top notch, Nike weights, etc. and there isn't a machine or exercise missing. And we haven't even talked about the personal training yet. Context: Lifetime athlete, lifted since middle school, martial arts as an adult, marathons, have a home gym, etc. Last thing I need is to waste my time or money staying fit. I know how to stay fit. I walked in there with the intention of adding muscle as a 48 year old man and dialing things up. Figured there was nothing to lose. Victor told me "I have just the guy for you" That's where my guy Jeremy comes in. Dude is 6 feet 215 pounds 7% body fat (or better) and is jacked. And one of the nicest young men you'd meet. Our work outs cover full body, all within an hour, and the only time we rest is maybe 30 seconds between super sets. The work outs are diverse and effective. I've gained probably 7-8 pounds of muscle in the four months of being there and love it. No way to push yourself quite as hard even if you are very fit, and yet somehow I don't seem to overtrain. So I'm getting the results without being overly sore or tired. In the end, the money I spend at the Fit Club is the best money I can spend. I work out whenever I want but generally just train with Jeremy and do the rest on my own at home. If you want results and to be pushed, this is your spot. read more

Initial intake was a mess. No confirmation or follow-up. Simply rush job with no QA. Compounded by indifference from owner, who seems willing to answer yes/no emails, but is lazy about answering questions about how to pay, app issues, or gym/personnel availability. I received a word of mouth referral to come check out one of 23 Fit Club's Ass and Abs workout class with Karen. The facility was very easy to find, thanks to the great signage. There's also a private lot available for free parking right outside the gym. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They know everyone very well, so when I came in, it was clear I was new! Karen showed me around the surprisingly large interior. I was most impressed with the ladies lounge space; it was very clean and felt upscale. Bonus for the gym having two showers in the women's room! I can't review the personal training since I did not do it personally, but it did look like there was a good variety of equipment and it wasn't totally packed after work. The Ass and Abs fitness class, on the other hand, was fantastic! Karen started us out with a warmup that left like a workout in itself. She offered options for newer and more advanced folks, so I could make adjustments as needed. While we were doing the exercises, Karen walked around to all the students to provide feedback on our position and whatnot. Sometimes in a group workout class, this level of individualizations can be hard to get. She came by for every exercise I did and had great feedback on how I could be optimizing my workout by changing my position a bit (and I thought I was doing great but immediately felt the difference after making the adjustments). The culture seems very friendly and inviting; sometimes at gyms, it can feel intimidating, but not here. Free reserved garage parking, secured entry, clean, and friendly staff. Perfect if you want a little privacy, hate crowds and want top of the line equipment. I boycotted Planet Fitness because of their bad cancellation policy and found this gym closer to my work. So far it's been great! The equipment is top notch and the facilities are excellent. Free reserved parking stalls in the garage near the elevator that lets out upstairs at the gym is really convenient. I've only been going here a couple weeks but really enjoy it all. 23FitClub is the perfect place to workout and get stronger. It's clean, well stocked, and has a great layout. Bonus: there are great members and fantastic trainers that know what they're doing. This is a gym more focused on strength than the rows of cardio equipment you'll get at larger, more cookie cutter gyms. They also offer classes and I can't say enough good things about them. It doesn't matter who is teaching, it is a great and rigorous workout that is tough no matter what level you are at. Also, Victor switches up the types of classes every semester so you'll never get bored. I am amazed at the difference I have seen in myself since I started regularly going to class-things that seemed impossible when I started I am now doing with weights! Going to class is now one of the best parts of my day. Not only for the workout but for the people. Here's the other thing: the classes are kept at a smaller size. This means that the instructor is able to keep an eye on everyone there, making sure that your form is correct and offering encouragement if you start lagging. Plus you start to see the same people in class week to week which provides a sense of community that keeps me coming back even on the days I'm wiped. I have never worked harder or felt more accomplished in a class than I have at 23Fit! I can't recommend this gym highly enough. read more

I've always hated gyms and I still do, but 23 Fit has pretty much been the one exception to the rule except not really, because I still hate the gym. The greatest praise I can ever give is that this gym has actually, finally, made me a semi-addict (reluctantly, if I may add) of workouts. Their trainers are incredible and are the key reason why this gym is awesome; they're all singularly focused on you, your work, and the workouts. Classes are incredibly varied, with everything from high intensity to strength, upper and lower bodies, everything in between. Their classes are what attracted me and their classes are pretty much bombtastic. The energy is kind of insane there and totally scared me shirtless when I first started, but as the results roll in, and the trainers are as excited as you, it's pretty easy to roll around in that feeling of awesomeness. Classes have barbells, kettlebells, ropes, boxing bags, bands, weights, tons of specialized machines, etc. Every trainer there knows to deal with folks on an individual base rather than as a group, if that makes sense. The best gym in downtown Bellevue. I've been going 4-6 times a week for 1.5 years. Love the vibe. Everyone there is serious about training and reaching their goals. The intensity of the classes will kill you. I switch it up between classes and personal training. I always look forward to my weekly personal training sessions with Victor. He's always switching it up and targeting different muscle groups I wouldn't have thought of. The equipment is professional grade you won't find in run-of-the-mill gyms. I've known and trained with Victor for two years now. His new facility, the 23 Fit Club studio, is a beautiful, state of the art fitness space. Huge room with hard floors for classes and heavy bags for the boxing sessions. On another side, there's everything needed for strength training, including squat cages. Victor delivers fun and personalized instructions, even in a class environment, he is mindful of each person's fitness level. I signed up for one month of personal training and one month of unlimited classes at 23 Fit Club. I tried almost every class, and I loved it. I started to see and feel results within the first week. I became more toned, and my form and boxing skills improved significantly. My trainer was also awesome. She knew exactly how to help me reach my fitness goals. She described how to do each move clearly, and she chose exercises that produced the physical results I was looking for. The classes were fun and effective. I was sore after each class, but the classes energized me rather than wore me down. I could definitely take these classes long-term. I highly recommend 23 Fit Club.
