I received a word of mouth referral to come check out one of 23 Fit Club's Ass and Abs workout class with Karen. The facility was very easy to find, thanks to the great signage. There's also a private lot available for free parking right outside the gym. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They know everyone very well, so when I came in, it was clear I was new! Karen showed me around the surprisingly large interior. I was most impressed with the ladies lounge space; it was very clean and felt upscale. Bonus for the gym having two showers in the women's room! I can't review the personal training since I did not do it personally, but it did look like there was a good variety of equipment and it wasn't totally packed after work. The Ass and Abs fitness class, on the other hand, was fantastic! Karen started us out with a warmup that left like a workout in itself. She offered options for newer and more advanced folks, so I could make adjustments as needed. While we were doing the exercises, Karen walked around to all the students to provide feedback on our position and whatnot. Sometimes in a group workout class, this level of individualizations can be hard to get. She came by for every exercise I did and had great feedback on how I could be optimizing my workout by changing my position a bit (and I thought I was doing great but immediately felt the difference after making the adjustments). The culture seems very friendly and inviting; sometimes at gyms, it can feel intimidating, but not here. I thoroughly enjoyed my workout class with Karen and would highly recommend checking out 23 Fit Club. Your first workout is free, so what's stopping you?

This team just reopened this year and so happy they did, this gym is beautiful. Very convenient location downtown Bellevue, under a 5 minute walk from Bellevue Square. Free reserved garage parking, secured entry, clean, and friendly staff. Perfect if you want a little privacy, hate crowds and want top of the line equipment. Booked a tour online and signed up the same day!

23FitClub is the perfect place to workout and get stronger. It's clean, well stocked, and has a great layout. Bonus: there are great members and fantastic trainers that know what they're doing. This is a gym more focused on strength than the rows of cardio equipment you'll get at larger, more cookie cutter gyms. They also offer classes and I can't say enough good things about them. It doesn't matter who is teaching, it is a great and rigorous workout that is tough no matter what level you are at. Also, Victor switches up the types of classes every semester so you'll never get bored. I am amazed at the difference I have seen in myself since I started regularly going to class-things that seemed impossible when I started I am now doing with weights! Going to class is now one of the best parts of my day. Not only for the workout but for the people. Here's the other thing: the classes are kept at a smaller size. This means that the instructor is able to keep an eye on everyone there, making sure that your form is correct and offering encouragement if you start lagging. Plus you start to see the same people in class week to week which provides a sense of community that keeps me coming back even on the days I'm wiped. I have never worked harder or felt more accomplished in a class than I have at 23Fit! I can't recommend this gym highly enough.

There used to be 4 full basketball courts, one of which was used for badminton during specific days/times. Then, they converted another full basketball court to pickleball courts. That was acceptable, since there were still 2-3 full basketball courts (each full court actually had 3 hoops, 1 in the middle), depending on the day/time. The worst thing they did when they refinished the floors in April was convert another half of a basketball court to a single pickleball court, effectively removing 2 of 3 usable hoops. Now, on badminton days, everyone who wants to play basketball has to share 1.5 courts. The usual scenario is 10 people playing a full court game, leaving everyone else with just 1 hoop. It gets incredibly crowded and is starting to feel like trying to play basketball at LA Fitness but for a much higher monthly membership cost. And to top it off, I have seen only ONE pickleball court being used (a full basketball court's worth of space being wasted) on the last 2 nights I went to the gym. It's very frustrating because I used to look forward to coming here to shoot around after weightlifting. I wish they had surveyed the members before making such big changes. Added a star because I like that they upgraded the weight room downstairs and added more squat racks. I haven't used the locker room or other amenities much, but I did notice that the locker room cleanliness reduced over the years.

It isn't like typical gyms, it feels more like a gym-resort-wellness center. It has high ceiling and ventilation is great. It can get smelly if it's super busy but that's why I go in the morning. I also like how everyone just focuses on themselves and no one is judging or being "weird." It's like everyone working out on their own pace and no judgement. I also had no experiences of going to the gym. It feels daunting initially because there's so many machines and it's overwhelming, which is why I particularly wanted to get a personal trainer and I love mine. Ainura is wonderful, she remembers the body goals im after and she helps me with a workout plan that will help me. You can see photos of my 3 month progress as proof. I've also had to visit out of state gyms due to work and I can safely say... pro club still the best. Love the staffs, environment, aura, and my trainer. LASTLY, I know it's on the higher end compared to other gyms but the amenities make it up. For example, free classes of Pilates, yoga, Zumba, etc. Going to miss Pro club for the next 2 weeks since I'm traveling :(

I moved to Bellevue to live with a son and I started Barre classes in Newcastle right away, as it seemed so essential that I keep them up. We drove 40 minutes to get there, arrived early, filled out all the forms, and even had a friendly 20-minute conversation with the instructor. Just two minutes before class started, we were told we couldn't participate because we're out-of-state students. This policy wasn't mentioned anywhere on the website when we signed up. The instructor was aware we had driven quite a distance to be there, but we were still asked to leave right before the class began. The studio itself seemed clean and welcoming, and the instructor was kind up until that point--but the lack of transparency and consideration left a bad impression. I hope they make this policy clearer online, so others don't have to go through a similar situation.
