Dr. Searby is knowledgeable and patient. He spent a lot of time helping me decide which treatment options I wanted. His price for extractions was below the low "range" for Houston (the range given in response to a search of "cost of extractions in Houston on 5/21/26.) terrible attitude extremely high prices If I could i would give them a 0 plus I called last week 3-1-2026 first time in 2 years and spoke with Julie, who's been there for years--she was normally nice. I asked her to check if I was due for new work and to see if my insurance would cover it. Then, the phone went silent. When I called back a couple seconds later, another girl answered with a hateful attitude. I explained the situation, but she told me with a hateful attitude I needed to come in to get all my questions answered. I told her they always gave me pricing over the phone. At that time she slammed the phone down on me and the phone went dead. I have never ever had a problem with these people I've always paid my bills I've been very nice to them but for some reason this Incident incident will cost them my Business I have never been told this before--they always gave me prices. They have a computer there, and with my excellent insurance, they could have easily checked, but they would not. I have spent thousands of dollars there--myself and my late wife. I will never go back. I will say, his son also has a terrible attitude--acts like he doesn't want to be there. After all this, I contacted my insurance company and found out that Pro Dentures was extremely high, and that Castle Dental was a lot cheaper. So, I went back to Castle Dental, and now I'm seeing Dr. Peterson on Northwest Freeway. They give great care, and the prices are extremely cheaper. Therefore, I will never see Pro Dentures again--I'll never go back." Very professional staff, and very cost effective services. Just finished with a permanent upper denture after the pulled teeth and prepared a temporary denture for 4 months so my gums would heal properly. The temporary was excellent fit and looked great! I have now had my permanent for about a month and just love it. Have not had to return for a single adjustment. Very professional, courteous staff and the Dr. Is great and leads them well! I visited the 290 location regarding my teeth. I understand I'm young and I have "viable teeth" but I don't have the income to revive the teeth I have and I want dentures to better my life. The pain I deal with on a constant basis is killing me. Dr.Serby was no help and didn't want to even consider my case and circumstance. He told me "clean your teeth it it is not hard, just clean in between your teeth". He was very dismissive and very rude regarding my dry mouth and acid reflux problem. He didn't wanna even hear it and told me to find a "tooth puller". I understand you don't want the job,but you could've been more considerate and heard me out. Excellent front office staff and Dentist assistants and Dr.s. I took my 91 year old mom for denture replacement and they were all very sweet and patient with her. She has since passed but this office was amazing in helping her with her dental issues. Dr. always suggested just what she needed. I appreciate the reasonable pricing because we did not have dental insurance. I also take my 97 year old dad when he has issues with his dentures. It hasn't been often but when we do go everyone is professional and caring. The Dr. only recommends what we need. I believe this is an honest and friendly office for dental needs. read more

Well I returned to the office Friday. Dr Searby and the staff were professional and pleasant. He even apologized and offered to give me FREE bonding on my two front teeth. I accepted! Impressions were taken. Everything went off with out a hitch. I was told to return to the Gessner office Saturday morning at 8 am. I arrived at 7:50. Waited until 9 am. NO ONE SHOWED UP!!!! I would recommend Pro Dentures to anyone. Friendly staff, professional service at a reasonable price. Dr.Searby made my dentures, and fixed several teeth. Due to severe facial neuralgia, I had to have 15 teeth removed by an oral surgeon, and my jaw scraped out, due to infection. I had necrosis of the jawbone. That was in 2008. In August 2015, I cracked a molar and started having nerve pain again. I asked Dr.Searby to remove the cracked molar. He said no, there was no infection and he could repair the tooth. To my surprise, after he fixed the tooth, my nerve pain has stopped. I appreciate Dr.Searby's informed opinion, and appreciate the work he did on my tooth. read more

I paid over $2k to have dental work done for a family member and paid for a 5 year warranty! They do not honor their warranty policy. Shortly have having the dentures they broke and the facility would not honor the warranty on file. Sorry, but that is dishonest and fraudulent! Shame on your company!!! read more

My husband and I both had all teeth pulled and got dentures. We over paid to make sure that after the insurance paid we wouldn't owe them anything. All of our work was completed summer of 2016. When they told us that we didn't owed anything as our insurance paid as expected, but didn't mention a refund to us, I played along to get the statements. The math on the statements had been tweaked to show a -0- balance. But our original payments were not listed on the statements. I have sent them the math and our original statements to prove that we are owed $925 in overpayments. I sent this 3 times to the Cypress office and once to the Gessner location where our payments were made. I received an email from the Gessner office telling us to contact the Cypress office. So as my email attempts to get our refund have been unsuccessful, I've been trying for three weeks to get someone at the Cypress office to speak with me, but no one answers the phone. I've left messages but no one has returned my calls. We have been trying to get our overpayment refunded to us for 6 months. No matter how good their work is, wonky bookkeeping to hide our refund due is not okay ever. Not responding to our requests is not okay ever. That they are ignoring us makes it feel like theft of our funds. Well, more than feels like - that is what it is. Our hope is that we don't have to take them to court to get our $925 over payment returned. But, there don't seem to be any options left. No, I would not recommend ProDentures for this reason. read more

My husband and I are both customers of pro dentures. They did a beautiful job on our dentures. Dr. Searby and his staff are consummate professionals. We were so impressed with how much better our teeth looked. In fact, my husband was stopped at a red light when a young boy approached him about donating to his sports team. While the boy was speaking to him, a woman approached (my husband thought it was the boy's mother) and told my husband: "Mr., you have the most beautiful teeth." In the fall of 2012, my father was recommended to go to a dentures specialist due to severe periodontal disease. My father and mother decided to go to Dr. Searby for the treatment due to the cheap price. Dr. Searby's treatment was to: 1) remove all the upper teeth and most of the lower teeth 2) get a full denture for his upper jaw and a partial denture for the lower jaw. About 10 months later, I had to step in and help my parents because they felt poorly treated by Dr. Searby. My father was currently wearing the temporary dentures and they were ill fitted causing sores to develop. My father's profile also drastically changed (ape/duck face). Upon telling Dr. Searby at the visit, he seemed as if we were a nuisance. He was extremely defensive about his work and talked to us in a condescending manner. I tried to give the doctor a couple more tries because everybody has bad days, but every visit after that was worse. At the final visit I insisted that the dentures be redone. Dr. Searby adamantly refused and I told him that we would see another doctor. He offered to give us a full refund if we gave back everything including the temporary dentures. I countered with a partial refund to keep the temporary dentures because my father would have no way to eat or talk. Dr. Searby refused so I left with the temporary dentures and no refund (partial/full). We eventually got an appointment with a prosthodontist a week later. The prosthodontist said that my father would have to remove the remaining teeth on the lower jaw because they were bad and had no support. A partial denture on the lower jaw would not be the right treatment. The reason that the profile changed was the lower teeth fell forward because they were not stable/healthy enough to hold up the partial denture. Our current prosthodontist is always professional and the dentures are perfect. His profile looks as it did before the dentures. We wasted a lot of time and effort with Dr. Searby and I was treated like a little child. I eventually had Dr. Searby give my father a refund and revoke the insurance claim once I gathered enough evidence (letters, CT scans, X-rays, etc..) from both the current prosthodontist and surgeon. TL:DR Don't go to this doctor no matter how cheap the price is. What you pay for is what you get. Preferably go to a dentist that does dentures well or a prosthodontist. read more

I received my permanent dentures in April 2014. Since then I have had six teeth come out of the denture which I had to drive an hour each way to get repaired. Tonight my upper plate broke down the middle while I was biting into a taco. I paid $2095 for a full set of the best dentures they offer and got exactly one year of use out of them. May 14, 2015 I decided right before the year was up for the 1 year money back guarantee to return the broken dentures and go elsewhere to have my teeth made. The clerk asked if I would give them a chance to correct my issues and make me a new set of teeth. She explained that when I had my teeth made they employed a denturist who made many sets of sub standard teeth. I was not the only one who complained. (My first thought was when I kept driving a two hour round trip to have them fix my teeth that kept falling out they should have decided then to replace the substandard set of dentures). She then said my one year would extend to the newly made set of teeth (another year to see if they were better). That decided it. I let them remake the teeth and let me tell you they were so different. I no longer have to use globs of glue to hold them in place, there are more teeth on this set, they are much more solidly made. So far I'm liking them. If that changes I'll update again. I'm only giving them an A-OK because I struggled with the other set for a year and complained about them being poorly fit every time I went in....it took me asking for my money back to get them to make it right. read more

After driving all the way to an appointment it was disappointing to learn that Dr. Searby and his staff are very rude and seem to only care about making money! They try to say they are cheaper than other offices but that's a lie! Dr. Searby did not tell me about the cavities I had in my mouth and he did not offer me a cleaning. His only goal was to sell me some high priced partials. He and his staff talks about inappropriate things in front of patients and barely stays in the room long enough to address concerns. Luckily I visited another dentist that diagnosed me properly and offered partials at a much lower price. Don't fall for the low price Gimmicks that ProDentures is selling!
