Same with the vinyl. Then they brought a remnant and installed it. It was damaged. Then another remnant. It was wavy and damaged. Then they put down a piece that didn't match. It took forever to get this job finished. By the time it was finally right the floor trim was ruined from pulling it up so many times (this is in my front doorway, I should add). We never got one word of apology, only a lot of nasty attitude from the owner. I still don't understand why the attitude. I only wanted what he promised. Now that it's paid for I can't get him to even answer my calls. The rug they sent off to be bound is too long, their measurements, not mine. They should fix this or refund what I paid to have it done, instead they won't even talk to me.

He did an excellent job for a very good price. He takes the time to do the job right... he take pride in what he does and was a pleasure to have in the house while he was doing the work. First the carpet for the living room was several inches too short and had to be pieced. Then there wasn't enough carpet ordered for the closets. Then the vinyl for the entryway was omitted and the store owner (also the one who measured) tried to blame me ( like I did the measuring??) He immediately got nasty about it. I couldn't believe he was treating me this way. There wasn't enough trim ordered. Had to wait for that and carpet for the closets. They brought in an old remnant of vinyl to do my entryway. It was crooked. The next remnant they installed was damaged and wavy from being folded. Then they put one down that was a different color (dye lot) and looked faded and washed out. He got mad and nasty because I refused to accept it this way. I just wanted what he promised. I wanted it all to match. I wanted it the color of the sample I ordered from. By the time it was all finished my wood trim was ruined from prying it off so many times. Not a word of apology, only nasty comments. When I went to pay it off I received the pieces of carpet I had special ordered for my entryway which had to be sent off to be bound. One is too long. It doesn't fit. It needs to be cut off and rebound. Again, not MY measurements. Now that he has my money, he refuses to talk to me. I've left messages about this with his son, who also took up his attitude. I don't know what I did to deserve this other than maybe not offer to pay extra to fix his mistakes. That's all I can figure. The only bright spot in the whole thing was the installers. They were friendly, caring and professional.
