There are gyms with more programs and ammenities with lower prices monthly. There annual maintenance fee is higher than other local gyms. Do not go here.

It has a well manicured 18 hole golf course, nine more holes (27 total) gym, two pools, tennis courts and all that. It also has a clubhouse which is the focus of my review. First off, this is the ugliest clubhouse I've ever entered. Think Little Rascals He Man Woman Hater's Club if you're that much into club houses. Ugly brown crown molding, ratty carpeting, ugly beige walls and exposed wood ceilings. The lobby looks like a mausoleum too. After the ceremony in a non cool room (idiots turned on the heat by mistake), we were sent into the reception area, which was the south room and adjoining spaces. At least they actually had on the AC in here. Open bar and passed canapés as one would expect. Some of these canapés including bacon wrapped scallops stand out because they were AWFUL!! I almost spit out the spinach pie; I should've known better when I saw them drizzled with heaven knows what. Scallops over cooked and lousy...at least there was an open bar. After two dark rum and colas, I even had enough of that; cheap lo-rent swill. Salad was simple mixed greens with a slice of cuke, some red onion and a couple of CHILLED cherry tomatoes. Well, there was the next sign that the kitchen doesn't know what it's doing. Tomatoes are supposed to be room temperature; period. Dressing stop said salad was nondescript. For entrees the Queen Bee had crab stuffed grouper and I had filet mignon. Filet was bland but had a halfway decent demiglaze with it. Queen Bee didn't care for her grouper. Everyone else at the table seemed more or less okay with it. To be fair, I didn't try the stuff. Both entrees were accompanied by overcooked asparagus and bland rice pilaf. Blech! I'm sure the wedding party paid good money for this stuff. If this is any sign of how their dining rooms are, then kindly include me OUT of this club. I'd rather graze on the grass from the 10th fairway. The desserts you see are provided by an outside bakery so nothing to say here. Not really much worthwhile or positive to say about having a function here, either. Have it at Chuck E. Cheese or a bowling alley instead! Eh!!

It is completely turf but is surrounded by a concrete walkway- so pretty wheelchair and stroller friendly. It is pretty shaded as well so you aren't being blasted by the sun. I would say this park is more suited to 2+. There are multiple climbing components that are pretty challenging and just require more coordination/strength.

My young boys and I were disappointed to find it had been Renovated for some time now with toxic Turf and plastic/metal playgrounds. Playground felt much smaller this way than when it had been wooden with plank beams running throughout. It is also incredibly packed, but I think that's also because there is a sports complex here and I'm assuming many younger kids are here playing on the playground while older ones play sports. The upside is that it's still a public playground and an outdoor activity for kids. There are bathrooms in the playground area so that's a convenience.

You will not find a better dojo than Pro Karate Center. It is an amazing place that fosters your children to grow into amazing young adults. As a testament to their ability to help your children grow and become amazing young adults, just look at the Senseis that teach the classes. The majority of them started as children themselves at Pro Karate Center and moved up the ranks to black belt and teacher. That truly speaks volumes about the type of dojo it is. I call Sensei Dean the child whisperer. When my son first started at PKC he was scared and cried and did not want to go into the dojo. Sensei Dean came over and said something to him and my son got up and walked right into the dojo and hasn't looked back since and he is now a brown belt. That is the type of thing they do that sets them apart from the rest. They truly care. Everyone who works at Pro Karate Center truly cares about the students. They care not only about their karate training but about the student as a whole. They care about how they do in school and about how they behave in their everyday lives. That is what makes this dojo different from the rest. They are helping you raise your children to be the best they can be and that is an amazing and rare thing to find in the world today. In addition to providing the best karate instruction around PKC also has "extras" that they do for the students including Parent's Night Out and a fun Halloween party each year. Their tournament team is amazing as well. Several of the competitors are National Champions and a lot of the team members have gone on to the National Karate Championship, Junior Olympics. Pro Karate Center in Palm Harbor Florida is the best Dojo in the Tampa Bay Area, they have highly trained instructors some of the best in the Tampa Bay Area, they are great with kids and teach them trust, respect, dignity, and responsibility, they have great summer classes and after school classes, I have known the Lavas Family for over 30 years and believe me they are all about the kids, their safety and education.My Son loved the fun and education He received and has helped him become a responsible adult. This dojo will become your home away from home. The owners, June & Dean (Sensei) Lavas are incredible people. They have built a karate school that doesn't just teach karate, it teaches the necessities to make it through life. Respect, confidence & perseverence are weaved into the karate classes. Hands down best karate school around. They have such a family atmosphere and care a lot about each child. Their customer service and care for their students and families is top notch. It's so important to us that our kids are having good character qualities reinforced and they get that at this school. They also teach traditional Okinawan karate, which is a must in our book. Pro Karate is amazing. All of the Sensai have the students best interest at heart. They teach the kids more then Karate they teach them how to be good citizens. The teach them family. So, I had my chiropractor monitor how I am improving. He told me that what is happening is all my muscles around the spinal cord are being strengthened and is correcting my spine. If I stop practicing though, it will go back to what it was before. So I will never stop. My chiro was pretty amazed as to the result of my training. He is also a life long Judo expert and still he was pretty amazed at how this practice is affecting my back in a positive way. My arm also used to go numb at times and no longer does. This is awesome. Asst head instructor Nate is an extremely courteous instructor and cares for each individual and will tailor your training to you.
