We were referred to Jason at Pro-Master by a local contractor to evaluate a problem in a vacation home with a strange lingering odor that we noticed. We did not even meet him; he met with the contractor who recommended him. He came out, looked the place over, provided some brief verbal information, indicated we had some issues, said he would call us with recommendations. This was weeks ago! We called the office, our contractor called the office, were assured by the person who answers the phone there we would get a call back.....never happened. Neither us nor our contractor heard a peep! Weeks have passed waiting for a response. We could have gotten another company to come in and address our issues, but unfortunately, we waited on that call. Needless to say, if this is how we were handled before any work started, I should consider myself lucky we did not put ourselves in a position to have hired this company, and had something like this happen. The nature of the work requested is well within the scope of services offered by Pro-Master of Scottville. I am left to wonder why we and our project were simply disregarded. How cool would it have been for these folks to simply say "thank you for calling, but we can't address your needs on this job" as opposed to "ghosting" us. I consider this, not only bad business, but a very serious character flaw. This behavior cost us weeks we could have been moving forward with another service provider. Very disappointing! We wanted a local company and to keep our business in the community. I only wish I understood what we did to receive such treatment.
