as soon as I walked in, the hostess was moody and short. I requested a signature pedi $60. the young lady that did my pedi either did not want to be at there or just didn't care to give me a good pedi. the massage was just rubbing my legs with lotion. the hot stones were just rubbed up and down my legs instead of a massage like, just her demeanor made me feel unwelocome. The water temp was good the paraffin wax temp was good. The polish was good. I just could have paid for the cheapest pedi $35 and probably would have been good with the half ass service. read more

Visiting from out of town and I was in desperate need of a mani/pedi. I usually just do a solid color but wanted to try some minimalistic nail art for the first time. The guy that did my pedicure did a good job, a little lumpy on my gel color but overall not bad and the massage and everything was super relaxing. Unfortunately when I switch to the nail station the lady who did my nails was super rushed. She trying to put fake nails which I didn't want and proceeded to ask me 5 times if I was sure I didn't want length. Yes, I'm sure, I work with my hands and like short nails like in the picture. The initial neon line she did was nice and thin, she ended up taking it upon herself to make the line thicker and said " I think it looks better". Well I didn't and I wish she would have told me before she did it. The thick lines just highlight the sloppy edges. I feel like I would have done a better job myself but alas here we are. Unfortunately, I have the worst experience after I left the salon my toenails have chips and missing paint on a gel pedicure and all of my nails are cracks and or completely broken from a dip powder application. First nail salon i tried since we moved to Waxahachie. Didn't make an appointment so i didn't have the same tech (Ty) as before. Justin was my tech this time and did a great job on my gel mani and classic pedi. Amy did my brow, lip, and underarm wax. Quick and painless and private. Wish they used hard wax instead of the sticky wax with the linen strips. Both visits the place has appeared very clean and very busy. This is my favorite nail salon in waxahachie. As soon as you walk through the door the staff greets you. They ask what I'm coming in for. If someone is available then they will take you right back, otherwise you sign in and wait. If you are waiting they ask if you'd like a complimentary drink. I always say yes. Lol. While waiting you can select a color you want. They have a huge wall full of so many colors. Sidney, sparkley, light, dark, gel, and more. They just redesigned the salon. It looks beautiful. So calming, beautiful neutral cool tones that see very rich and inviting. If you forgot your phone, dont worry. There are multiple flat screens throughout the salon. I highly recommend the pedicure with a margarita. Talk about relaxing! I always come out refreshed and my nails are on point ! The staff is great, service is great and I definitely recommend them. Here now finishing up a dip mani and pedi. Pedicurist was friendly and did a great job on massage. They were a little busy when I first came in but by the time I chose my nail color they were ready for me. May have been about 6-7 minutes. My manicurist did a great job. I'm probably more picky than most, but she got the shape just right. Went back to square with round corners from the almond shape. I also had one nail that had broken when I was cooking for NYE and she put a fake tip on it to even them out without me having to ask. Facility was very clean. I heard them mention to a lady who appeared to be a regular that they were still working on decor from the renovation. I wish they could have done my mani/pedi at the same time. I definitely didn't anticipate being there for 2 hours but either way, it was still a good experience. read more

the older guy that did my nails was really rude..never said hi or looked me in the eye. started my French gel manicure by painting the white before anything else. Then he had to remove the entire hand he just did since he missed an entire step (base clear coat) After I leave, I notice the tips of my nails are all uneven, then next day my nails start chipping..one week later they look 3 weeks old (it's vacation by the way so I have not been working or damaging my mani at all) I was charged $50 for this and I have to get it redone a week later. Never going back I have always come for Linda and she is incredible with her pedicure/reflexology. read more

Due to the reviews, we tried them out instead of going to my regular nail shop. I got four services total. The building is under construction during business hours, so there is a lot going on right now. Although temporary, it takes away from the relaxation that usually comes with the service. I just got home and really looked at my toenails, they are subpar to say the least. The lady that did my nails was nice, the service was not. My daughter that wanted acrylic nails had a misunderstanding with her nail tech, I didn't see until it was all said and down so we just let it go. Update* The manager contacted me and offered to redo my entire pedicure at no charge. He was very respectful. His wife did my pedicure today and I am very pleased. The leg massage was very relaxing and not rushed. She went back and cleaned up the cuticles on all my toenails, buffed my feet, and used an exfoliating scrub on my legs and feet. And I must add, she is also pregnant and was sitting on that low stool. She never rushed any part of the pedicure and she even added paraffin wax to my pedicure! I really wanted to like this place. I am currently looking for a replacement for the guy I have been going to for years who doesn't do nails anymore. This was the second time I came here, the first time was before the re model so it does look better. This was well over a year ago and I needed to get my nails done last minute, those nails didn't look good and cracked within a week. I came back and looked through reviews and specifically asked for Thu. I made an appointment for the next day since she was not available yesterday. Then I get 5 missed calls from Thu about 20-25 min before my appointment asking me to come later, which would have been okay if she even did my nails. I come in a couple of minutes before my moved appointment and they even ask me who my appointment is with and I write her name down. Then a guy comes to get me and his nail drill said Danny. The only good thing I can say about this whole experience was that he was fast. I still have residue all over my hands from the dip removal and he was rough. I asked for coffin and I paid $45 base rate for coffin dip and I tipped. I don't know if that's common here in waxahachie but that's too high. The shape is bulky and uneven and square deff not coffin. Not happy with how I was just moved to another person when I asked for Thu Bc of reviews and changed my times to be with her. Won't be coming back here, they need to consider the fact that when someone asks for a specific person give them to that person. Just because you've never done my nails you put me with someone else. My daughter and I went to this place for the first time to get nails and pedis. Jason and Thauh did an amazing job with our pedis. Jason spent and extra long time massaging my legs and feet. Tu did an exordinary job with my daughter's unique nail design request. Thauh was so meticulous about my nails he kept going over and over them making sure they were perfect. Well I have found my place! The pictures included are FOUR WEEKS of outgrowth. No cracks, no lifting, no breaking. I just moved to the area and have been STRUGGLING to find a nail salon that follows the standards I want, and after seeing how long I could go before a new color (mainly due to vacations), I'm thoroughly impressed! The staff is always very friendly and service is great. I get pedicures, not manicures, and they're always excellent. My feet leave feeling 1000% better than when I walked in. Go early in the week when it's not busy for a more relaxed atmospere, on weekends it can get crazy loud with all the chairs full of chatty women. Highly disappointed! I come to this nail salon often (every 2 weeks) and this is my third time coming to get my nails redone and it hasn't even been a week in a half. They rushed to do them and now i have to keep coming back to get them done again! Not very happy. I went in for the $20 manicure-pedicure special they have posted on their window advertisement. I made it clear to the nail tech I just wanted a basic/regular package with French tip polish and nothing more. Somehow I ended up getting charged $45! I understand French tip polish is usually an additional $3-$5 charge, but I didn't expect to walk out of there with a bill that was double what I initially asked for. The quality of my manicure and pedicure were also not the greatest. My pedicure came out a little better than my manicure, but it's still on the poor side. For my pedicure the tech did a just below average job. The French tip polish was very mediocre and she didn't seem to really take her time. As for my manicure, it was even more rushed than my pedicure. She filed my nails at what appeared to look like a 45-degree angle, and continued to polish my French tip nails at that same angle. When I left the nail salon it looked like she took a trimmer to my nails, cut them diagonal and continued polishing. On top of that I had excess polish on my cuticles and the finish top-coat was dull and almost non-existent. My nails didn't even shine and I had to go home and redo my everything myself. I was not happy with my experience at all. The overall quality, service, and pricing is not worth returning. For what I paid here I could have already bought the new dress I needed for the special occasion in which I was getting my nails done for. read more

As for the last person, I think you have misunderstood the $20 dollar special deal. First off I am the owner of the place, the manicure/pedicure, was actually a separate thing. If you just wanted a manicure then it's $20, now if you just wanted the pedicure then it's $20. So the reason why you thought we charged double is because you probably asked for both. As for the French tip polish, it is about $5 more. I do have to agree on you with the service you were provided with. I am truely sorry for what you had experienced. I have been going to Pro Nails since they had open with their previous location and their currently new shop,which is great because of the shopping areas that surrounds it. Every time I had gone there, the workers and THE owners had shown the upmost courteous and respect to not only myself but other customers as well. My daughter and I stumbled upon this place because the salon of choice was filled to capacity when we got there at 11:30am...blahhhh. Anyhow they were just opening for the day so we did not think anything about the fact there were not many patrons there. My daughter needed a cut down and fill and I was getting what I always get, a pedicure. My daughter was pleased with her nails...I was not pleased with my pedicure. They had me soak for a minute which was cool and the water was hot like I like it but the overall process was ...anyway. My biggest thing is not feeling like you are rushing. I felt rushed. The massage was not great. It said 15 minutes and I barely got 5 minutes. The finish product was not good as well as my feet did not feel as soft as when I have had them done else where and my polish could have definitely been better. The place was clean but I still yet notice some areas that needed to be wept like under the place where you dry your feet. I don't think they have stuck a broom under there in a minute.
