I dropped it off and explained clearly that I didn't want to put a lot of money into repairs, if it was too expensive, I'd just buy a new mower. I also asked if they could check on warranty coverage or if welding was an option. They are a Toro dealer. After not hearing back a few days, I called and was told they had done a "full diagnostic" and that repairs would cost $375 on a mower that cost $500 new. On top of that, they charged me $50 just to tell me the mower wasn't worth fixing. The entire assessment took seconds, no actual work was done, and at no point was I told there would be a fee. If I had known, I would never have authorized it. Instead, I was blindsided with a charge for information I already suspected: that it wasn't worth repairing. I caution any one for going to this place. They do not care about their customers and I will NEVER go back there. This was one of the dumbest business decisions to fleece me for 50 bucks. I will tell everyone I know not to go to this place.

That is why I have used Vent Doctor a handful of times, usually to clean my dryer vent. This time I remembered they did air duct cleaning as well. I am glad I remembered because they found numerous issues with mold/mildew all related to my AC company not doing their job during annual maintenances - causing mildew in my air handler and some ductwork. Wyatt cleaned the ducts and now there is a noticeably better airflow AND quality in the house. I have a new AC company coming tomorrow to clean the air handler and fix the electrical issue(s). Wyatt is an awesome individual who always has a great attitude and professional demeanor. He has no issues with answering questions and even brings issues to your attention, usually with a few solutions as well. He shows up on time, calls when/if he says he will, and goes above and beyond the basic service to make sure you know what is going on in your own home. Definitely look forward to him being here once a year to clean dryer and AC vents because I know I don't have to worry about him making a mess or breaking anything.
