He provided my name and the information needed for me to be able to pick it up at drop off, as well as paid for the part, shipping, and labor, $360. The owner (DJ) said it would take a week at most. - it took 3 weeks for me to get my phone back, a LOT of hassle, and I provided my own part. He was called 3 times over the course of 3 weeks, all less than 5 minute phone calls, and very cordial. When I and my boyfriend went back to inquire about a refund and getting it back after not getting fixed for over 2 weeks, the owner (DJ) refused, stating that it was not his fault that the company he ordered from experienced quality control issues and he was unable to obtain the part or fix my phone in a timely manner or the promised time frame. When I stated that I would like to have my phone back so I could take it elsewhere, he would not give it back to me, and accused me of "harassing him", when I stated that he had been called a grand total of THREE times over the course of 2 weeks, all very politely, he backpedaled. He then told me that if I could find the part to replace the screen, he would refund me what he had charged me for the screen, which was a total of $260 between the part and the shipping, Otherwise I would have to wait until he could procure a screen. I sourced MY OWN phone screen, only to not be refunded, costing me $360 for someone to put a new screen that I provided myself, onto my phone, a task that takes approximately 1 hour. However, both the company and Best Buy wanted to take it for at least a week without a loaner. I can't afford that computing loss. I ordered a fan directly, replaced it, but couldn't get the tiny plug to connect. I called a couple of companies close to me to find out if they could work right away. One said no, I could only drop off. Another gave me initial info, but then didn't respond when I had the fan. These folks are a bit more expensive but were always very responsive. I'm willing to pay for professionalism. I took it over and they found the fan's connector was cheap and had partially split. They were still able to get it connected and working, saving me the cost of yet another fan. They are friendly, knowledgeable and worth the money.
