I've been a few times. They're informative and they once tested a battery in a laptop and didn't have a problem that I replaced it myself. They take batteries for recycling, including odd ones such as a UPS battery for my office when I replaced it. I've also called a couple of time for questions about batteries and they've been helpful. This is a decent place to get any battery you might need locally. I typically know the exact type of battery I need and what is a good price. The prices are a bit high but this place is right down the street so I understand the prices. The store could not stay open if they had prices you can find on EBay. I've been a customer of this store location for many years. I was willing to pay more for their products because of the good service and friendly staff. This store must have had a change in management because the jerk that abused both me and my wife today is insufferable. I bought two packs of identical specialty bulbs in late September, and before the first week in October one of them had failed. I brought the defective bulb and the original receipt and asked for a replacement. The guy that "helped" me was rude and obnoxious. He said he would not replace the defective bulb unless I brought the others I bought back as well. Did I mention he was a snotty hipster wannabe complete with a full beard and nearly unbearable B.O? All I wanted was for him to honor the promise I was given when I bought the bulbs "if you have any problems, just come back and we'll make it good". Granted, it was not the bun-head punk that gave me the promise, but a real salesman skilled in customer service. My wife called and asked what we needed to do to get our problem solved. She was told to bring the bad bulb back along with one of the others and we'd be made whole. She did go back, and then the very fellow that gave me the runaround announced that the bulbs were not the same! They were indeed from the same package of cheap Chinese junk that were sold to us. Stay away from this store - they are deceitful liars and cheats selling second rate crap at premium prices. read more

1 star for quick service, 1 star for the majority of staff having good customer service. We had one of our iPhone screens replaced here a month ago and they did a great job. No issues, it was fixed quickly and customer service was great. Today the screen stopped working so we took it in since it was warrantied and we weren't sure if it was related to the new screen. The manager was great and took it in no problem since I had our paperwork. Then we got a call from the repair tech telling us he couldn't fix it because it wasn't his product and to accuse us of opening up the phone ourselves to solve the problem. 1) We had our receipt with the repair summary and didn't take the phone anywhere else; 2) why would we try to fix the inside of the iPhone when we don't know how and have a brand new screen with a warranty? In the end, my fiancé called and got them to fix his phone. The man who gave the phone back when I picked it up was very nice like the manager, but the repair man was rude again when I got there. Glad the phone is fixed and that it was done by the end of the day, but definitely keep all of your paperwork. read more

Went in for screen repair and battery change. The replacement screen had terrible pink hue and glare and had hit/miss touch screen function. Battery seemed fine but employee accidentally broke front facing camera and microphone. Received phone back with damaged front camera/mic while waiting for the part from the north store to come in. Apparently that takes an entire week. While waiting days to hear back I called for an update who said she'd call me back- this employee was rude and upset that I called back afte she never called me back. All in all after a week my screen was replaced and front camera/microphone was mostly fixed (now the sound cuts out for certain front facing camera sounds/apps). All in all I'd spend the money and go to Apple for a repair. I will give a shoutout to the final employee who fixed my screen and apologized for her other employees who "dropped the ball." read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would!! Do NOT under any circumstances take your phone here to get fixed!! Spent over $400 to get the back of my daughters I phone fixed; which was replaced with an aftermarket brand. As they were fixing the back, they cracked the screen and replaced it without telling us! When my daughter got her phone back, the screen was all messed up, so she took her phone back in and that is when she was told they replaced the screen, and that was defective. About a week later that screen cracked, daughter took in again and they said it would be over $200 to replace!!! Come to find out, that screen is also some after market brand and they didn't put a screen protector back on!!! So they broke her phone, didn't let us know, and didn't replace with what was originally on the phone before they broke it!!! Now, we do have an otter box case on daughters phone, and the back glass that we spend over $400 is cracked yet again!!! Contacted BBB, and batteries plus has yet to respond and fix their mistake!! This is absolutely unacceptable, and their business practices are truly fraudulent!!! Her phone is ruined and they take no ownership in their part!! read more

At first I was very impressed until I went through their rebate process. They demand the model # but ask you not to use the one on their receipt, really, their receipt isn't accurate so they make a customer go out in freezing weather to find a model number on an installed battery? Also, they demand a picture of the UPC code for the rebate. Again, how customer friendly is this when the battery is installed? I don't do business with businesses who aren't customer focused. Batteries Plus rebate process is the opposite of this so I won't be doing business here again. read more

Do not fix phones here or shop here. Service is utterly terrible. I go in to get my screen fixed and they tell me it would be an hour. I come back and the home button is broken but the screen is fixed. The guy tells me that he just doesn't have the "touch" and tells me to come back two days later. Two days later I come back and ultimately get my refund because the star technician can't do anything except sing bohemian rhapsody under his breath. If you are going to set up a whole ass section of your store to fix phones you should probably have the common sense on how to fix a screen properly. These guys broke my phone and costed me a lot more money because I had to buy a whole new one. This company should go back to their original thought process and sell light bulbs for a living. read more

I was completely scammed by this company. I went in to get a simple replacement on a cracked screen, before they began the employee looked over my phone to make sure nothing else was wrong with it and ensured me if anything happened they would fix it. Well when I show up an hour later "somethings gone wrong" and it won't turn on and they cannot fix it. They gave me back my now broken phone and charged me $100 anyways!! read more

Went in yesterday after work to get the battery replaced in my iPhone. I was kinda worried, had looked into replacing it myself but watching the instruction video convinced me not to risk it, then thinking maybe I had to take it to Apple to be safe (and pay $99 for a $20 battery). The staff here are excellent. I appreciate their tenacity with battery & bulb challenges. The computers are almost always challenging for staff. The staff have always gone the extra mile to resolve both my bulb & battery problems & puzzles. The store has an outstanding selection of items. Listen up. Short story: This is THE BEST place to go for electronic repairs. Long story: I have an iPhone 5s with an otterbox case. My phone was almost bent in half, the screen was shattered, and the LCD display was COMPLETELY fried after getting crushed (it was on the tailgate of my truck and fell between the tailgate and bed when we slammed the tailgate shut). For less than it costs just to get a new screen and LCD display, they took my phone completely apart; all the components were put in a safe place while they bent the frame back into it's original shape with no marks left on it, the components were put back into the frame in the correct places and the LCD display was gently set in place and the screen slipped right into place. All this was done at the price to pay for them to fix just the screen. And here comes the golden news (drum roll...): My phone looks, feels, and works like it's brand NEW; NONE of my data was lost, they only charged me IF it worked when tested AFTER they fixed it (and work it does), and they had everything done with in an hour! These people KNOW what they are doing and are GENUINELY sympathetic and are willing to meet your EVERY need for your electronics. Wish I could give more than just 5 stars here. read more

I broke my iPad screen. In speaking with the tech it was a perfect break, screen only no frame damage. I dropped my iPad off for repair and was told it would take a day. I was told I would be called when it was complete; I never received the promised phone call. It was repaired the following day. The employee on staff could not immediately find my iPad. Later that evening I noticed that the screen was starting to lift out of the frame. I brought my iPad back to the store. One employee recommended that I could fix the lifting screen myself. I expressed I was more interested in having them complete the repair as agreed, the manager agreed to repair the device. I was told it would take a day. I stopped by the following day, again no phone call. No work was done on my iPad. I was told the following day it would be repaired and I would receive a phone call. I stopped by again the next day again no phone call. There was another issue with locating my iPad. The iPad was repaired and the screen was set in place. I brought the iPad home and noticed screen functionality issues. In some cases the device would act as though I was touching the screen even though I was not and later it would not register that I was touching the screen. I took the iPad back again. I was told they would repair it and I would receive a credit. They believe the issues I was experiencing might be a problem with the screen they installed and the repair would include a brand new screen. I came back the following day, no phone call, as well as issues in locating my iPad. I was told that they identified the cause of the problem to be the cable that connects the screen. The cable was apparently poorly formed. I asked the tech if a new screen was installed, he stated clearly a new one was installed but could not find the old screen or explain why there was no protective cover on the newly repaired device. I did receive a 30% refund. Now one month later I am having screen functionality issues. read more
