Wow, I can't imagine this place will be open much longer without major changes. Clearly ownership or management has changed since the last time I was here. The first thing I noticed was the smell of weed when I walked into the entrance, past the office. There were no cars in front of me, only one being towel dried after the wash and it took 20 minutes for my car to get vacuumed and through the wash. This is with five employees on site, on a Saturday morning. What was more disappointing was watching the employee work with absolutely no hustle, slow to get out of the car, walking slow and continuously stopping to look at their phone. An odd thing to do when your customers are waiting and the cashier makes sure to ask if you want change for tips. I understand that I'm paying for a $40 car wash and not a detail but just overall disappointing. I ended up being on site for just over 40 minutes.....for a drive through car wash that wasn't busy?! Maybe they can turn it around but I won't be back, too many other options locally. read more

In my opinion this is to be one of the best car washes in town but it has quickly gone downhill when it comes to quality and service. I paid for the professional car wash and left with a half clear car. I pointed out to the attendant that the windows were still dirty/smudged. Instead of him cleaning it, he handed me the rag and walked away. The inside of my car was still dirty and looked like it was barely vacuumed or dusted. I paid for an express detail and leather condition. The guys didn't even wipe down my head rests (front and back), let alone condition them. They also used the same rag to wash the wi does, leaving a heavy film on them. Also, didn't even bother to was the back window. Finally, express detail includes an express wax, which they didn't have any of. There were to many deficiencies to point out at the final inspection, also the employee didn't even ask me to inspect the work, he just grabbed the tip and moved on. Just poor!!! read more

I have to admit that they do a good job cleaning your car here. My pet peeve is always the line of dirt at the top of your window that you can't see until you open it partway. Pro Shine makes sure they get this area. Pet peeve allayed! It does take some time to clean this well, and it does not come cheap. With tax and tip I paid about $45, which included armor all in the interior. But they do a good job, and the vehicle looks and smells nice for a special occasion. read more

I ALMOST gave this place 5 stars. First, I know this is probably a thankless and exhausting job for the young staff that work there, but it IS their job. With that being said, this last visit I felt the staff really worked hard to clean the inside and outside of my SUV. I bought the $30 top-of-the-line wash, and tipped $5 - so for a $35 car wash, I do have standards. Personality-wise, I was VERY impressed with the young staff. They had great eye contact, were clear communicators, were well-kept, were very polite and friendly. So kudos to management for setting the bar high on the caliber of employees - great job and great staff! I was overall truly very happy - they took my rubber/sports mats out from the floorboards, cleaned them, vacuumed everything out, washed the windows and hand-dried the car. My ONLY complaint, is TIRES. I cannot imagine I'm alone here, but the VERY first thing that looks dirty on a car tends to be the rims. Therefore, the VERY first thing I look at and hope is completely clean (I'm not talking about tar, but I'm talking about the gunk and dirt they CAN clean off), would again be the tires. I felt they did a below-average job on the rims - the tires themselves were shiny (and I'm glad they didn't get the shiny stuff on my brake discs!). However, I need/expect them to really get all around the outer part of the rims. My rims should NOT have black streaks where they just completely missed (half-a$$ed) the rim-cleaning. I would understand one or two, but every tire (when I say tire, I mean rim) was like this. They REALLY need to make sure they FULLY clean ALL RIMS, this should never ever be missed. So, at first I was tempted to give 5-stars, but the rim-cleaning makes me want to give a 3-star rating. I realize this isn't fair, because they did a good job overall, so I give them a 4-star rating. read more

Today 5/21, i went to Pro Shine for a wash and purchased the Professional wash for approx $40. This is not the first time using the car wash but today one thing was clear, they had a lot of young kids working there. Anyway for the price paid i knew i was gonna be there at least 25 mins as it takes me that amount of time when i select cheaper options. my car was ready in 15. When i inspected my car the whole inside was barely touched. They Rain Xd the dash and thats all they did. My console was not wiped neither the doors and other surfaces. I told the person working on my car and he went inside to address my concerns. he called me back and yet still the places i told him were still not cleaned. i got so frustrated i ended up taking his cloth and cleaned my car myself. And to think i left a tip for sh***y work. I will no longer be using that service. Very poor and unprofessional. read more

I can't say I was overly impressed with this car wash. The prices are competitive, but the service won't really blow you away. I was at the car wash for quite a just getting a basic interior/exterior wash. Something odd happened where my car got stuck in the wash and then the car wash workers sent it through again. However, no one ever said anything to me, so it was a little frustrating and therefore the service wasn't anything special. I'm pretty sure they sent my car through the wash with the parking brake on. My car smells funny. read more

This used to be a well run car wash. It still has a good potential if the owners put their heart into the business and fill the leadership vacuum. While the individual workers wants to do their jobs, lack of guidance and supervision makes the whole process very inefficient. They regularly shut off the power wash track as they can't get the cars ready into track fast enough. I always saw enough workers walking clueless back and forth looking busy. read more

This use to be a great place to get your car cleaned but unfortunately not anymore. I just paid to get the pro shine and the inside of my car was not vacuumed well, dashboard never touched and paid the extra to have floor mats cleaned which was a waste of money. I did tip the outside person due to it being extremely hot but I'll be finding another place to get my car done. Not happy at all because the $25 I spent and then had to come home and clean the inside is horrendous. Lesson learned just do it yourself next time. I enjoyed the job they did while washing my car. It was my first visit and it was also on Black Friday so I received 50% off on everything so I chose to get the most expensive combo and I only paid $20 bucks! I thought that was great and they were pretty fast too. Although it got a 4 star because they missed a few parts in my car along the dash and the joy stick and cup holders which were all still very dirty even though they "detailed" the inside. And the rims weren't shined at all. A little disappointing in that area but not enough to make me never go back. I washed cars at a place like this for a couple years in the nineties. Not saying the alternative down the street is bad, but these guys do it right the first time. I waited until my fifth trip to write this review bc a visit is mostly about the staff and sometimes you get lucky, right? I've been on hot days and cold days morning and early evening. The Owners and managers do a great job hiring and motivating bc every young man that has serviced my ride, whether outgoing or more to themselves, has been and outstanding reflection of this appreciated company. (And yes even the one young lady I cane across was kind and personable) Get the mid level wash, be picky about the detailing within that price point, and enjoy the customer service. And tip. Over an hour for a hand wash when there were only two cars ahead of me. 20 cars have come and gone in an hour. 3:50 on a Sunday and it's now 4:55. The Maserati will not be back here. Its still covered in wax spots as well so now I'll have It done again next time we have another sunny day. My regular guy does a full clay-bar and detail in a little bit longer than that... Avoid this place like the plague unless you have nothing better to do than sit around at a carwash all day for a half-ass job. read more

At one time Pro Shine was very good at cleaning cars, I paid for the 59 dollar wash and clean and when I went out to my truck I noticed that the inside of the doors were not wiped down and spray that they used to make the interior shine was sprayed on in spots and other areas beside the spot was dull and they prayed the dash which later I was told that they were not supposed to do, the armor all was applied very heavy making the areas wet, I rear floor mat was not even cleaned just muddy the detail was to pressure wash the mats which did not happen I ask the person that cleaned the truck to go back over it and he told the manager in charge to do it, the guy that cleaned it was cleaning another car and he stayed on his cell phone the entire time he was cleaning it and just wiping it down with one hand, he did not even attempt to clean the rims just soaked them down with Armor all and let them. also it took a very long time to find someone working up front to check out with, while I was there another customer came in complaing aboyt the way that they cleaned his car read more

Went inside to pay and had to wait even longer for someone to come to the counter even though several employees walked through. So I haven't been here in a while because I usually go to autobell. Came here today and let's just say, I'll prob stick to autobell. The young man that greeted me when I pulled up was not friendly at all. The girl inside at the desk who was folding towels, deep breathes and rolled her eyes when I walked up to pay. I guess I was bothering her. I paid and she mumbled thanks. Then the lady tells me my jeep is ready. There is a bunch of gunk on the side of my jeep and I'm like what is that. She tried using her fingernail to scrape it off and I was like um nooooo. She wiped it again with the wet towel and some came off. She didn't bother doing the rest. I have always come to Pro shine to get my truck cleaned, the guys do a great job inside and out. Yesterday I went my truck was very dirty, as they called my name to tell me my vehicle was ready. I walked up to the truck and on the inside it look like nothing was even cleaned.. I asked them why they did not wipe down the door jams and the doors and the center console and the dash? I paid $25 for the wash. They stated the new owners told them not to do so unless asked to.. I can promise you I will not be back if that is their new protocol for cleaning the inside of my truck... Austin and Jermaine were awesome, and wiped everything down upon my request. I really hope that the new owners will take note that when you pay $25 to have your vehicle cleaned you want the inside and outside done properly.. read more

Visited on 9/15/2019 about 80° outside. First impression, I should have gone elsewhere. I pulled up reading the options for the services, and this kid waved me forward, and when I didn't respond he looked at me with an agitated look on his face. I have been here many times and never been met that way. I got the Signature Pro service for $24.95 and added $3 tip. $29.63 tax included. The wash wasn't crowded this was about 11:30 AM Sunday morning. The car was vacuumed by 2 kids and went through the wash at a very fast pace. Faster than ever before. The car was thoroughly dried and windows cleaned. The kid spent about 10 minutes on the car. When he finished and called me to my car there were bugs on the hood, grille, and backside of the mirrors. The same kid drying my car had no enthusiasm at all. When I complained he proceeded to grab a spray bottle and spray the areas in question, then dried with the same cloth I saw him originally drying the car with. When he finished I opened the door tipping him $3 only to discover the inside of my car was 1/2 way vacuumed, and on top of that the mats were not placed or secured properly. Upon seeing the condition of the interior, I asked the 2nd young man who had walked over to see what the problem was, I showed him and he commenced to help the kid scrub the entire front end, I asked them to send the car back through but apparently this was how my displeasure was going to be handled. who is the owner, I asked? He said he couldn't tell me that information, to which I said the girl behind the counter can and as I was walking to the door he said no she won't. I went inside to let the girl behind the counter know I wasn't pleased. Since the employees do not have name tags, I have no idea who they are, but sure enough she wouldn't give me the owner info either. As I walked back outside to finish looking my car over I noticed the young man who seemed like he actually cared about the condition of the carpet and the way the mats were left had pulled a shop vac over to the car and completed the vacuuming and installed the mats properly. I noticed some smudges on the driver door panel , and was promptly told they don't clean the interior unless you get the additional Armor All for $6.95. Are you kidding me, I spent almost $30 to have my car washed. Maybe if the kid had not been in such a hurry when I got there he could have explained that interior cleaning was extra. This is an adult owned 2017 vehicle that was not that dirty, just usual grass clippings and a bit of dog hair in carpet. The leather seats didn't receive even a wipe down, just vacuumed. Another thing that irritated me was I had to ask what fragrance they put in which was part of the purchase price. I only mention this because on previous visits even though it was paid for I didn't get any fragrance. Once I told him it was applied before the young man re- vacuumed the carpet. As I said I had been to Pro Shine many times since they opened, and I believe the ownership has changed a few times, but overall the service over the years has gone downhill. You may ask why if I had problems before, why would I continue to go there, well the answer to that is the competition in Mooresville is not much better, however reading other reviews there may be a place newly opened that I didn't know about. As far as going back to Pro Shine, they have lost a long time customer. Oh by the way I am disabled and no longer able to take care of the appearance of my vehicles. I wish I knew the "young man's" name because he needs to be praised in the actions he took to satisfy me, as for the other employees I came in contact with on this day need to find a job they are happy to do. VERY SLOW service. Arrived today with only two cars in front of me and ordered the express detail...it's now been 20 minutes and my car is still being vacuumed.
