I'm currently working with All-State (who recommended this shady shop, and was outraged by the aberrant behavior) and the NC Department of Insurance Fraud division, as this is both Insurance Fraud and Identity theft. They claimed 'new ownership', although the staff and management that I dropped the car off with, was the same as I when I picked it up and it was under Classic Management when the car was picked up. If you value your physical or mental health, do not go here I tried to support this body shop because it's a smaller body shop and instantly regretted it. Months went by nothing came in, Suspicions began to take place, several questioned this guy and he claimed a company called PhatFabs frames was building my frame and that id see it in 6-10 weeks. We allowed that time to go by and nothing showed up I called that company and they said they never had any invoices for a longbed (they don't normally do longer trucks), so I hinted around to him again only this time he said No they were not doing it and a man named Chris Lagana in Florida was doing it.. Over the years from 2022-2025 he told my father, I and others involved that everything was ready just sitting in Florida.. We kept buying into that excuse because he continued to tell us he had issues getting down there, Well luckily my family has trucks who can get things, He deterred those options and instead gave more to that he was going to get it. Multiple times he said he was going, like lots of times. Throughout this we continued to offer to go get this frame and during this process a motor and transmission was down there as well or so we were led to believe he got us one off a used Escalade and a friend of Chris named Brandi at a company called Fastech Motors built me a motor from that Escalade. To make a long story shorter. Nothing came out of Florida. I stayed on this guy so much calling out lies, that he panicpurchased a used frame off FB marketplace in WV. We were told he did this and he denied it. However I asked him again if he had my stuff and one day he said everything was up here in NC, (Mooresville) So I took the police up there with me and nothing but a used rusty frame with no motor or transmission was outside and my truck is in pieces and completely dilapidated. He had claimed prior to me playing along with that he had a frame etc that 2 of his employees were working on it. I contacted these two people and they both said they hadn't and he had been telling him that my truck was his truck. I confronted him once again on why was the frame and all the brakes, brake lines gas tank etc missing from what he said a guy in Florida named Chris had completed and I got no response. The day we snagged my vehicle from his shop with the police no motor that he said was up here was found. He told the police it was in storage and he needed a week. I gave his man 2 months then I called him and recorded the conversation this time. He then said it was in Florida at that Brandi Fastech place. He wouldn't give me the number so I found him through his social media and called him. While in front of the police the day of getting my vehicle back I called the Chris guy for the first time in front of their body cams. He told us that he had not talked to Marley in 10 years and that we were robbed and that I wasn't the first person he had done this to and as for the motor guy, He told us my motor is in pieces and there was never a transmission. That Marley had a pattern of doing this to people and I am proof of that again. This Brandi guy gave me what was left of a motor in literal pieces. Since this time others have come forth and found me who had similar instances with this guy haven taken more than I was taken for. More than a dozen taken for $40k, 61k, a few $80k's. I have been taking and recommending to these people to go to the police and or Sheriffs depending on where they live. He still tells others whom question his reviews that I have stuff in Florida, He tells me that there is nothing. I asked for money back and he told me to go get it from Heaven from his ex partner and to go f myself. He's even tried to initiate a fight with me and argues deterring what I asked for (parts, transmission, brakes, etc. He needs to be stopped.
