It gets messy tearing down an old chimney and not one of our delicate plants in front of our house were damaged. The workers did not have a truck big enough to haul all of the old chimney away, so Ted sent someone out on Mother's Day to take care of it. Ted personally came out a few days later to look at the work. We experienced very high winds the following week and our chimney cap blew off. They arrive the next day in the afternoon (in a van that says a different business name) and brought the wrong ladder. Mark (the owner) said they will come back in two days with the correct ladder. In my mind I was thinking: just go back and get the correct ladder. The next attempt, they don't show, so I call in the afternoon thinking I'd be their first job that day. They scheduled a job before me again (same story as the first attempt). I don't get a response back for the rest of the day so it ends in a no show. On this same day, two birds flew into my tenants living room through the chimney so this was the last straw. The next day I try to call and no answer. The owner is very talkative and very open to share his political views. I'm also a business owner and I just need my chimney fixed - let's keep it professional. I assume when he finally came out and saw I was a minority I didn't fit within his political views so he didn't need to get the correct ladder and decided to keep pushing my job back to just not showing up at all.
