While the company was initially responsive to my request for a quote on chimney work, and the man who came to do the quote was good, getting someone to call me back and schedule the actual service has been a nightmare. I have called no less than 20 times, and only once has my call been returned. I was told to send information via text, which I did, and never received a response. My husband has called numerous times as well in an attempt to schedule the same service. I was hopeful this company would be able to do the work we so desperately need, but the office communication is anything less than professional and responsive. read more

Ended up costing double from the estimate because of a blockage in the chimney. That's fine, but led me to believe that it was going to be usable after that. No call or anything until I reached out to see how it went. Said removing the creosote would cost almost $10,000. The chimney can't be used until that's completed. Cleaned the chimney for $600 but still can't use it until the creosote is removed, NICE. So paid for nothing because will have to close it off anyways. Was trusting the knowledge of a chimney company to tell me that there's no point to clean it at this point. read more

My experience with Accurate Chimney & Fireplace was quite positive. The cleaning was thorough and confirmation was visible when the camera was used to test for any issues in the liner. A drone was used to check the outside cap and flashing. Their Tech, Matthew, couldn't have been nicer. I really appreciated the customer service. As for the appointment itself, they quoted me a two hour time frame and they came as promised. The inspection of the fireplace and chimney was very thorough. They wore proper sanitary equipment and were very clean while doing their work and afterward. The price I paid was that which was quoted before they arrived, so I really cannot say anything but positive things about this company. I highly recommend Accurate Chimney and Fireplace. The liner of our 26 year old fireplace needed some repair. Took the problem to another company and was quoted over $4K to replace the entire firebox, told us repair wasn't possible. Thought we'd try a smaller, local shop and I'm glad we did. Made the appointment for Accurate Chimney and Fireplace to come look at our fireplace. We were notified when they were on their way and they were on time. The owner and an employee wore shoe covers and face masks and were super polite and friendly. After their inspection they provided us with suggestions and options. They were able to patch the liner with the same material it is made of, and since we went ahead and had them clean the chimney they threw in the repair for free. They did an inspection of the chimney outside also- brought their own ladder and got up on our 2-story roof. All repairs are guaranteed for 10 years. The owner is very knowledgeable and provided good info about our fireplace and the upkeep. And they give discounts to seniors, military, police, fire, medical, teachers, etc. Glad we kept looking instead of letting that first company make a big commission off of us. We will be calling Accurate Chimney again for regular inspections, maintenance and any repairs. read more

I've been meaning to write a review for Charlie and Accurate Chimney for a couple of years now. I had a chimney problem where birds were able to enter from around the chimney. A different, more-marketed, chimney company gave us a very high estimate and wanted to replace everything chimney related. Charlie wanted to repair our chimney instead of outright replacing it. I've had Accurate out to my house 2x this Fall. The first was because I purchased a 20 yr old house, and the home inspector noted some cracking on the dome that needed further inspection. The guys did a very nice inspection and cleaning. I was especially impressed with the way they laid out a mat and cleaned up after themselves on the inside of my home. The initial inspection revealed a prior chimney fire (!) and about $5-6K of needed repairs if I wanted to use the chimney again. I sought a 2nd estimate, which confirmed the same, so I know they are reliable and credible. The 2nd trip out to the house was to do the exterior repairs needed. They gave me pictures and showed me exactly what was done and the pricing matched the initial estimate. They were on-time and considerate. Overall, a great experience. read more

Charlie at Accurate Chimney had us covered for our chimney needs! I have already referred him to our neighbor. We bought a house with a "decorative chimney." It obviously was more than decorative, but of course that is the safe route for a seller. They had it boxed in anyways because of a "draft." Charlie was out there giving a free estimate right away and was affordable and easy to work with. Charlie's team waterproofed the outside, repaired the outside masonry, put a chimney cap on, and put in a new liner. Great service from a first time customer. Had a chimney on an old home that needed work done to waterproof. They came out to estimate and were very clear on all the individual things that could be taken care and cost of each. In addition they outlined the parts that needed to get the job done compared to things that were recommended so we could make the right choices. Unparalleled customer service!! This adorable father and son duo is so kind, genuine, and professional. They came out to give us a chimney inspection today, and they were way more thorough and helpful than we ever could've imagined! They discovered we have a gas leak during our inspection, they immediately opened our windows to ventilate and recommended a gas professional for us. My boyfriend and I are brand new homeowners and know nothing about any of this stuff, so they walked through our basement with us and showed us where all the pipes lead, where the shut off valves are, and where the leak is coming from. They told us how to make it a wood burning fireplace again, gave us a reasonable quote to come out and fix our chimney and also gave us plenty of DIY solutions if we would like to fix it ourselves. These guys wore shoe covers and brought a mat to put on the mantle-leaving ZERO mess behind!
