No, it's not--unless the insurance company misrepresents what happened by reporting that my husband simply drove his car into a deep hole. I just discovered that my new vehicle insurance is going up almost $200 because of how this incident was reported. My current insurance company told me that if it had been reported as pothole damage, my rate wouldn't be going up. But because of the way Wawanesa reported it, I'm now paying for this and will stay in my records for years. Stay away from both Wawanesa car and home insurance. I hope whoever made the decision to report it this way realizes one day how much their actions can affect people's lives. I hope she has many sleepless nights over it, because if she can sleep well knowing what she did, it only shows how evil she truly is.

And he answers the phone…read more He ended up telling me that I'd be better off staying with my current broker because I'm grandfathered into a well-priced homeowner's policy, but he was generous enough to share advice about our coverage (we were underinsured) and deductibles that the other broker had not reviewed with us. I wish we could switch, because having someone to guide us into appropriate coverage rather than just selling bulk cookie cutter policies would be amazing. He's a self-described "insurance nerd" who enjoys getting into the nitty gritty for his customers' benefit. And he is quick to reply to emails and he answers the phone himself. I couldn't ask for more. We are trying to switch some of our other policies over to Wayne even if we have to wait on the homeowner's.

I have been a AAA member for at least a decade. I rarely use the services and rarely visit the…read moreChula Vista Office. My normal office to visit is Mission Valley, where they greet you well and they are very kind to any members, and kind to whomever walks through the door. I visited Chula Vista office on 5/22/25 for lunch break. I walked in and an AAA Lady up front sized me up and down. I waited for her to verbally greet me, and that did not happen. She gave me that 'teacher to student condescending acknowledgement of my turn in line' look. As she waited for me to respond to her, I waited for her to "speak". After about another 45 seconds she says, "What do you need?" ...I was shocked. Not, 'Good afternoon', 'Hi, how may I help you?', 'Hello, what may I help you with today?', nor 'Welcome to AAA..' no greeting. I responded that I am here for DMV Registration Services. She replies by looking at me incredulously, "Well as long as you are a member..." and pulled out her pointer finger while saying it, indicating that I was not AAA Member. I ignored her when she asked for my AAA Membership card. I already had it ready on my Apple Wallet for her sour attitude to scan me in. Once she did that she directed me to the DMV Services line. She was still being rude and with horrible customer greeting and triaging service. The AAA Lady at the DMV Services area greeted me well and was customer service friendly. I was able to get everything completed in about 7mins. The AAA Lady who handled my Member Services last name on my card update, I think her name was Karla, was very nice and very efficient. She verified my AAA card and account info and updated it with my current last name information from my REAL ID. I was super happy with her customer service. The visit was about 12 mins total. The rude AAA Lady up front triaging customers was a 50s aged white woman. The nice DMV Services AAA Triage Lady was a 30s aged hispanic woman. The very kind AAA Services Member Analyst (I think her name was Karla?) was a 30s aged hispanic woman. The DMV & Member services portion of my visit saved my visit and this is why I gave 2 stars. The initial intake greeting desk AAA Lady is why I took off 3 stars for this particular visit. I have since visited this office again on 05/27/2025. I will update my review for that visit in a week.

I couldn't drive out of there without insurance for the vehicle. The dealer recommended Rudy and on a late Friday night Rudy came through and set me up with insurance, and it was a lot cheaper than what Geico quoted me. I walked in later that week to sign papers and after a short interview with him, Rudy came though again by lowering the rate a little more. If you're stuck between a rock and a hard place with car insurance, I highly recommend 20/20.

Also, Mexican law requires that our vehicle is covered by a Mexican insurance Company. Each experience with Sanborn's was quite easy, efficient, and reasonably priced. Before entering Mexico, we received a proof of coverage document, which we printed as a hard copy. Filling out forms on line was quick and easy to understand, as all documents were in English and very clear. Purchasing insurance is even easier now that we have an active Sanborn's account that records our data for future use. We recommend Sanborn's to San Diegans (like us) and others crossing the border for short trips. Sanborn's probably works for longer trips too, we haven't tried that yet, but would expect it to be as seamless and dependable as our previous experiences.
