Emails flow through someone named "Jessie" who is quite slow to respond, sets short arbitrary deadlines, and since Mike unexpectedly cancelled a lesson on Dec 16, has not responded to numerous emails, a phone message, and even an question that I posted here two days ago about anyone having any recent contact with Shiftabove2. We offered to reschedule or take a refund and have not heard anything back in a month. This side, I would rate a 1 star. Again, Mike was excellent and if they would straighten out the communication issue it would be 5 star rating.

They never answered the phone. I should have known that something was wrong not right. They never picked up my son. I had to scramble around to get him a ride home. The owner showed up 20 minutes late for the refresher and as we arrived at mvc at the time they scheduled for us, we found our 17 year old daughter alone crying . The owner had left her there after advising her that his office scheduled her 2 hours late and she could not take the test. Did not wait to explain his error to us, and was incredibly condescending and argumentative on the phone. He lied and said he was "just an instructor" and could not give us the same refresher on the rescheduled date, only to later yell about being the owner and saying it was "not going to happen". I can see why they insist on a check or other non contestable form of payment, because I was blamed for not checking the time on the permit when it was his office that scheduled all of our times as they were paid well to do. This "professional" school turned our child's big day into a stressful nightmare. She was able to take the test the following day, causing me to take another day off, and fortunately did pass, coming home to lie in bed and de stress after this unnecessary experience. what a shame, please do yourself a favor and pick any other place to make your student's experience a good one.

When I called on the number online, a guy picked up and told me that the office has people only fixed days in a week.(okay then reflect it in your timings).I scheduled a session and on the day when I called to confirm it, they said I was double booked and rescheduled it for a later date. (They didn't charge anything in advance which is good) On the day of the session I called and said I would be about 10 mins late for it (I was willing to reduce it from my fixed time). The session was immediately cancelled for the day and I was told there is another student who is willing to learn. After this day I've called about 3 times only to be told they'll get back with the timings as they are busy. There is one thing to be busy and there's another thing to be professional. I was really looking forward to learn driving from here but alas that's not gonna happen.
