Steve Brasuell came out to my Daughter's house. He gave an estimate set a day for the repairs to begin. My daughter and her husband are trying to restore his birth home, the home is in bad shape, I am trying to help my kids, so I offered to pay for the 12,000.00 foundation repair cost. The work was completed, Steve requested I send him payment thru Zelle, I explained to him my only account did not offer Zelle. I suggested Venmo, to which he agreed. He said "Venmo works better bc they let me send and accept more money. I'm just scared of scammers!" This should have been a red flag, I was just paying, I thought Mr Brasuell, representing Texas Pro Tech Foundation Repair, would have worked through a written estimate, contract, and warranty with my daughter and her husband, as would every 35yr Reputable company. Only 2 weeks later, while trying to hang new doors, my son and his dad noticed they had to jack up the house 3inches so the door would go in. Upon further inspection, my son, who had been in the construction business more then 30yrs, found the foundation level was done with scrap wood and rock found laying around the property. His assessment of this foundation work was described as "scab" work, not even worth the labor time put into it, let alone 12,000.00. My daughter had a Reputable Roofing and Foundation company come out the the next day, Monday. The contractor said he could not, in good conscience, put his men on the roof because the foundation was so unstable. I asked my kids to review their contract and warranty papers. They told my Steve Brasuell did not provide them, in fact he only showed up to the work site once, with a beer in hand. We contacted Steve Brasuell we were told there was no warranty. Now, we will have to employ a reputable foundation company. I do not recommend this company, specifically Steve Brasuell, he saw my kid's project to restore a 100yo family home as a trash, he thought he'd, do a trash job, make easy money and walk away. Rob came out on a cold rainy day to inspect my pier & beam foundation. When he came out from under the house, I was told that my foundation needed NOTHING. How often do you hear that from a contractor?? Very honest Christian man. I would recommend him to anyone. read more

Worst foundation company on the planet. A waste of 11,000.00 dollars. I now have 20 block and pad sets that do not meet Dallas city code.Actually snapped a ledger plate and beam under my home. Split my hardwood flooring and pulled it apart. They tried to get it to return to no avail. After requesting numerous times for them to level pad sets all the did was push dirt up around them instead of digging them level..What kind of company cashes thier checks at a cigarette store? I called a well known foundation repair company to check my home and adjust my current piers if needed "WARRANTY WORK". After taking measurements I was told I needed 15 new piers installed before they could adjust the current piers that was already under warranty. This would cost me 10K. I contacted Pro-Tech for a second opinion and after they took measurements and gave me a good education on what he was doing and signs to look for I was told my house was ok. They are not around to take your money peforming unneeded work. You won't find a more honest trusting company in the business. read more

March 2018. Texas Pro Tech Foundation. 824 Creekside Drive, Mesquite, TX 75181 - 972-288-3797. I researched several companies on yelp and chose this company for repairs in my elderly parents home. This company has a BBB rating of A's.The owner of the company came out, looked over the home and gave an estimate. He quoted $3900 if they hired him on the spot and allow the work to be done that same week. My parents took the offer. In addition to the $3900 quote, he added an extra $150 charge saying it covered a charge from the bank.(fee for using credit card possibly). The owner sent his crew out the next day. The crew were made up of his two sons and 3 or 4 more guys. The completed the work within a 3-4 hours time. They were paid at that point. Upon inspection after the crew had gone, my parents noticed that some things were not right. They called the company several times. To no avail. In the meantime, my parents had contracted for installation of new flooring. The company began installation. That company owner said that he could not finish the job until foundation company returned to correct the work that they had done. My son-in-law had to call the foundation people to pass on the information. Their response was they didn't know new flooring would be installed. What does that mean? As a result of the shoddy work the foundation people performed, the kitchen floor was sinking in. The back bedroom at the head of the bed was also sinking in. The owner also said he would send them a receipt. We did not receive it. Underneath the house, they had hit a pipe and knocked a hole in it. Water stood under the house for a couple of months and as a result, they received a $225.00 water bill. They are 2 (80 year old) people. I referred this company to my parents and I feel like they took advantage of them because of their ages. Due to the refusal of the company to repair what they damaged, another contractor was hired to repair the water leak. The cost was $1250 to have the water leak repaired. This company needs to issue refunds abound. read more

Rob came to my house as well and inspected my foundation and said I did not need foundation repair but that I did need to add some dirt around my foundation to avoid any further settling or damage. He assisted me in finding and getting the dirt which he did not have to do. This man is very honest, his word is his bond!!!...a quality that is non existent when dealing with many businessmen/people today. I am so happy that I found someone that I can trust to tell me the truth. I will go to Protech in the future for any foundation repair or needs and will refer Rob to any and everyone I know. Texas Pro Tech just finished with the work on my foundation. I would highly recommend this company and if I need and can afford any further foundation repair, they will be the only company I call. Rob listened to my concerns and did not try to sell me more piers than what was required. Thank you Rob and crew. read more
