The local staff are super nice people but they have no control over the mandated electronic scheduling and it it's just not working correctly. I used them for the basic lawn fertilization and weed control, spraying the bushes around the house and of course the pest control in and around our home. This past March, I talked to them about the lawn not really looking healthy, still way too many weeds and that I wanted to consider reseeding. I asked for their opinion and I was given the option of either reseeding in spots or doing the entire lawn. For over $300 I decided to do the entire lawn so it might look more even with a healthier overall look. After a $500 water bill and a couple of warnings from the water company, and 5 weeks later, I didn't see one new blade of grass so I called them. Someone came out and take a look and said, just be patient and keep watering. I told him I had to back down from the watering because I had the warnings from the water company, but I would do the best I could. Thank the Lord above at that point because it started raining a lot. Three more weeks went by and not one new blade of grass anywhere was showing! I called and asked Jimmy, the owner to come out. He did. At that time he told me that "St. Augustine grass takes 6 months to start growing". I was shocked by this. Six months?!? I was never told that at any time before. Had I been told this I would've questioned it and done some research. I started asking around and everyone that knew anything about lawn maintenance was puzzled. They said St. Augustine grass cannot be used for seeding, it comes in blocks of grown turf. Plus, there was no preparation before they reseeded. Just a spray. Anyway, I was very disappointed. I felt that they didn't know what they were doing, and I think that feeling has been justified. So it led me to canceling. There's no way that I want to make expensive monthly payments for all different services to accompany who I can't trust and who doesn't seem to really know what they're doing as far as it comes to lawn maintenance. And get little or nothing for these payments. Plus, whenever I did call the office to talk to Jennifer about something, I noticed that repeatedly and continuously communications was hugely lacking within the company. The only person I really liked and trusted was Anthony, the guy who came out and did the sprays. But he's just one of the worker bees. I am now with Integrity out of Homosassa and very pleased. He took pictures of the hole the rodents were using and he sealed the hole! His fees are reasonable and if I hadn't just signed up with another quarterly pest control company literally 2 days ago, he'd have that business from me too! Turns out he did a termite job across the street just a couple months ago - and that neighbor went out of his way to catch-up with Wayne. He's a standup guy that does what he says he's going to do and takes pride in what he does. I've already recommended him to a friend in St Pete who suspects critters are squatting in her attic.
