Unless you have all day to wait & they do not contact you. Made an appt w/them to have 2 septics pumped. I was told sometime between 8am to12 pm. Rescheduled my day around this. I was told that someone would call/text when they would be on their way. It became after 12 pm, I called to see if they were showing up, because no one had contacted me. My home was built on 1964 and unfortunately the tank was invaded with roots; therefore, a replacement septic tank and drain field are recommended. While these are not the news I was expecting, I am full of gratitude for the Marion Pumper staff. Can't thank y'all enough. Called on Tuesday, scheduled for Friday pump out. Sandra and Howie showed up in the time frame given, with a call beforehand to let me know they were on the way. Arrived and in in all honesty went above and beyond. Saved me having to call plumber for a nasty clog in the pipe to the tank. Also, they were very nice and courteous in giving advice and pointers to not have a reoccurrence with the clog problem. 100% will have repeat customer with me when it's time for a septic pump out again. read more

We have a very large household with unfortunately a septic system that is truly on the small side for the size of our home. As a result we have to get our system pumped every year and a half or so. This year we experienced some issues slightly earlier than planned so we called Marion Pumper out to pump our system out. They were prompt on their appointment time. The tech who came out was very friendly and explained everything they did. They unclogged a blockage of toilet paper in our line that was causing the issue we were having and pumped our system. Hired this company to empty septic tank. I was told the job was completed, and I paid the bill. it was recommended to reset the drain field. When the drain field company came to do the job, they opened the septic tank as part of the field installation and discovered the septic tank had YEARS of sludge. The supervisor told me there is no way there was this much sludge since the clean out. I called the company to complain and to simply get somebody to come out and see. Too Busy to send anyone, refused to acknowledge responsibility. DO NOT USE MARION PUMPER! read more

Rick showed up before my appointment time and got right to work. He didn't mind me watching him and even explained and answered my questions. Rick did an excellent job making sure everything was pumped, cleaned the filter, inspected the system, explained to me how the system works and gave me some recommendations. Before leaving he cleaned up the work area and even cleaned up the little bit of mess in the flower bed where I had opened the access. The whole entire process took about an hour and before Rick left he made sure everything was functioning and all of my questions were addressed. Very informative and friendly. Rick said he had only been working this job for seven months, but he was well educated and fast at his job. Each time I called I have spoken to Teresa and she has always been helpful and professional. I will always call Marion Pumper for my future septic issues. I scheduled an early morning septic service more than a week out. They were to arrive Friday between 9am and noon. At 12:30 I called and was told he was 30 miles away and had another stop before me and it would be a couple of hours. At 4pm I called and was told the wrong info was in his gps and could he come Monday morning first stop. I called a few times on Monday and kept getting the time pushed back. I gave up but at 5 minutes til 5pm the fully loaded truck showed up. I sent him away and I'll tell you why. First and most importantly I don't want a fully loaded truck driving a cracking my driveway. Second - I'm having cancer treatment and I'm just to damn tired to deal with it. A word of advice ,.. always request an early morning service, this trucks are heavy and will bust or crack a driveway . I give 2 stars for showing up but I'll take my business to someone that's can show up on time. read more
