This person did not look outside or take time to listen. He just said oooh you need a full waterproof. Steve said I wouldn't hire me. You don't need anything. It happened one time and it was a bad storm. He checked my gutters and looked around the house and is confident that I will be fine. He saved me 15k. Real Dry is honest and thorough

RealDry's website states they service all of Massachusetts and address both crawlspaces and…read morebasements, so I reached out via their website contact form about the wet crawlspace in my western massachusetts property, and included its address. I received an email response from owner Curt, "You are currently out of our service area. You can try XYZ Company". His email signature's phone number had a 617 area code (Boston) and my property is in western MA, so I wondered if my query had been inadvertently sent to a Boston-area office. The site listed a different phone number for western MA, so I called it. I asked the man who answered if they serviced my western massachusetts town, and he said, "are you that lady with the crawlspace? Yeah, we don't do crawlspaces, and I have alot of work." I said thank you, wished him a good day and hung up. So, while I'm disappointed I won't get to work with RealDry, as I thought they had the expertise I needed, I'm annoyed to be lied to by the owner TWICE - first about the company's service area via email, and a second time, after he revealed he'd lied about the service area when I called their office close to my property and then additionally told me the company doesn't work on crawlspaces even though they prominently list crawlspaces on their website's homepage. If you're too busy, or don't want to consider the job for some other reason, just say you're too busy from the get-go. Don't lie - and don't lie repeatedly. It informs others that you're dishonest. The recommended "XYX company" was more than happy to come out and see the wet crawlspace RealDry was too self-important to bother with.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Where do I even begin with this. This is quite possible the worst…read moreexperience that I have ever had with a company. I contracted Mr. Home to do some mold removal, remove old insulation, and install vents. While attempting to do these things they destroyed my bathroom ceiling, ventilation system, and bedroom ceiling. They tried to pull a fast one and just spray the mold and leave all the concentrations on the far ends of the attic where they were probably hoping I would not look. The jerk that came to look at the damages and job that was not done attempted to tell me that the mold was dead, and the wood was stained. This was not the case, I had Servpro come out and they tested the mold which was still alive, and they were able to scrub it all off (highly recommend Servpro). Their attempted "fix" of my bedroom ceiling that they ruined was to drive screws into an old piece of lumber that they found in the attic and slap a coat of paint on it. They did not even bother to sand it. They also destroyed my drop ceiling and left me with 4 ruined ceiling tiles. This cost me $200 to get fixed. I have attached pictures that I took after they left and said they were done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. 1 star is too much.
