When I received my Trike back and contacted Kevin Baxter to report my problems with the engine, he told me that the problems I was having with the engine were "normal" and there was nothing he would do to address my complaints. Brought my bike to get exhaust put on here and wrapped. 1300 dollar exhaust that comes with instructions.. wrapped incorrectly also installed crooked. Way to go. Also will lie to you about when they can work on your bike. I do not mind waiting a while if you're honest with me from the beginning. Do no tell me you will have my bike done by the weekend. And you tell me this every Friday when I call for three weeks in a row.. finally had the nerve to go and pick my bike up and just find another shop to do it. Do not like lies. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would ..I place an order on Friday for 3 tools that I paid over 160 dolllars to have overnighted do a job I was doing for someone...needles to say as of Tuesday the following week nothing saying. It had even been shipped yet...-after emailing them and stating that if it wasn't shipped out by today I'd like it cancelled but to contact me first ...I got a snide email back saying he cancelled the order without even contacting me and I'd receive the m I'm eh in 3 days ...called them and asked jason house why it was Cancelled before shipping it out and he stated they didn't have them although their site said they had them in stock in which he fed me more bs ! This is my newest, favourite, motorcycle shop. Unlike the car repair industry, it's rare to get same day service in the motorcycle one. That's to be expected -- it's simply a matter of supply & demand. There's not much demand (motorcyclists) so the supply of motorcycle shops is low. By the point of going to this shop I had been in dire need of a new rear tire for a couple of weeks and my options were limited: the nearest dealership (Honda) didn't want to service a non-Honda motorcycle and when they finally agreed to do it, they wanted to charge $275 for the tire and $100 for the install; the Atlanta Triumph Ducati shop had the right price but were too busy to do "while you wait" appointments and were too far away; my stand-by shop (Pauleez) ignored me when I walked in and I was getting tired of their slow service. Luckily at a weekend party, a friend recommended this place to me. I showed up around noon on a weekday (only open 9-5 M-F) and not only did they have the EXACT tire I wanted in stock but they had the tire mounted and balanced within an hour. Best part - the owner even showed me how to remove the wheel of the bike myself so I could save $35 next time I brought the bike in. Not only great service, but great prices as well -- the tire was only $10 more than what it would cost to buy off the internet from the tire warehouses ... so, reasonable markup for a brick & motar store. Also they only charged $40 for the install (including removing the wheel from the bike). It's rare to find a true while-you-wait service shop in the motorcycle industry - but these guys seem to do the volume to cover it. While I was there, five other customers drove up on their lunch break and hauled motorcycle wheels out of their trunks to get changed. read more

Do not do business with these guys, and certainly do not buy parts from them unless you're local. These guys are too busy making YouTube videos to provide adequate attention to their customers, or they just don't care about them. I was sold a gear cam chest kit by Kevin directly over the phone, who told me if there was too much runout on my bike, they'd simply swap it out. On the lift back in Dallas, there was in fact too much runout. Pete had a chain cam "someone ended up not using" and had me pay overnight shipping + retail for the replacement - only to wait 3 days before dropping it off at a UPS location. (This cam was filthy, and had black oily/dirt caked on it in spots, yet I was charged retail.) I finally got in touch with Pete again who told me there'd be a 20% restocking fee as per their website's return policy. When I said "I didn't buy it off of the website, Kevin sold it to me over the phone.", he said he'd have Kevin call me. Another 2 weeks, and I finally get Kevin who says just ship it back and we'll credit you in full + the cost to ship it back. So, I ship it to the address on their Return Policy on protwin.com - an address in Lawrenceville, GA. After 2 weeks with no word again, I call and get Pete again. He stated that's not their address anymore - and that's the "old website". But he said he'd try to go to that address and pick it up. Then nothing. In the meantime, the guy who received it called me to let me know he had it. I called Pete again and he said "Great. Send me his info to my email, "pete@PROTWIN.COM" (the "old" site, remember?) After more than another week and another email, it's apparent these guys do not care, or have the capacity, to take care of their customers. Do business with these guys at your own risk. read more

You guys have to be on crack!!! One phone call to check on pricing and installation and I knew I would NEVER go to this place. First the guy on the phone tells me the price of the tire I asked for was $119. When I tell him the price online shows it at $88 I'm then told that's not the actual price, because the tire is less than $200 so they charge a $10 S&H charge. I'm picking it up. There's no shipping involved!!!! Then he wants to charge full dealer price of $69 to install. My regular guy charges $45 max for installation. Hell. The Harley store even has a promo for $40 to install. This store will never see the 3 bikes I own. read more
