Before service began, I provided extensive information to assist with successful service, including **pictures of the defendant and his girlfriend, his vehicle description, license plate number, and the specific timeframe when he was most likely to be located**. I explained that attempting service during that timeframe would provide the best opportunity for success. After payment, I was told that additional fees would be required for reasonable efforts such as checking whether the defendant's vehicle was in the parking lot or attempting service during the timeframe I provided. **These additional charges were not disclosed to me upfront.** When I questioned how I could verify that the attempts were actually being made, I felt the company became defensive rather than providing a satisfactory explanation. I ultimately had to use another process server, who **successfully served the defendant on August 12, 2026, at approximately 6:30 PM**. Legal Wings offered me a refund, and I am requesting the **full $130 I paid**. Hearings with Social Security take a matter of years to get in front of the judge. Going through the initial screening and talking with clerical staff can be a bit tough. They did a fantastic job. After they accepted my case, I went in approximately a week before the hearing to talk with the attorney. They had the information from Social Security which was reviewed before my appointment. On the hearing day the attorney was early, and had explained the hearing process fully. With the attorneys guidance, I testified, answering questions my attorney asked. I did win my appeal. I could not have represented myself in the professional manner he provided. There is NO cost of the representation in this case. And you deal with competent, knowledgeable attorneys.
