Getting a response is nearly impossible--they rarely reply to emails and simply do not return phone calls. On the rare occasion I did get a status update, the information was completely contradictory. First, I was told the papers were successfully served. Then, the story changed to "the tenant would not open the door." Finally, I was told it wasn't even the correct location. This kind of erratic reporting is incredibly stressful when you are dealing with strict court deadlines and trying to build a reliable paper trail. To top it all off, they had no issue immediately sending me an invoice for full payment before completing the service or filing the necessary legal paperwork with the court. You cannot bill for a job that isn't finished, especially while completely ghosting the client. I am incredibly disappointed given my positive past experience, but I cannot recommend Servlaw for court cases. If you have a legal timeline that matters, find a company that communicates professionally and knows how to properly track a serve.

I mistakenly filed the cover letter and complaint as one document, so only the cover letter had the clerk's stamp. The statute of limitations deadline was the next day, so even though I could still have served the defendants late by filing my complaint on time, their recognition that I didn't have the clerk's stamp enabled me to serve them on time! Therefore, I appreciated their keen eye and knowledge of the proper way to serve someone! The second time I used them, I thought my flash drive had been stolen (fortunately, I found it later), so Jenice allowed me to come to her home so she could scan the documents. She was friendly and organized, and since my order was delayed, they expedited my delivery.
