When I stopped on Friday morning to walk the dog, I was shocked to see the parking lot (which holds 60+ cars) almost full. They have 8 pickle-ball courts and they were full with a line of people waiting for a court The pangs of the balls were pretty loud and disrupted any peacefulness that the park has to offer. There is even a set of bleachers to watch the pickle-ball games. Anyway, the park does have an amazing playscape, perhaps the best in the Indy area. There are multiple climbing structures, swings for all abilities, a merry go round type structure and more. There is soft matting under the structures to keep the kids safe. Kids were having a blast. In addition, there is a colorful and awesome splash pad. There are nice benches, some covered, to sit and watch the kids. The park also has a walking trail into a wooded area, which is not paved, just gravel. There is some natural prairie vegetation. Trees have been recently planted. There are a nice set of restrooms including a family restroom. I also saw a small pavilion with picnic tables. Bottom line, while it's a bit crowded and loud, this is a great park with lots of fun things to do.

There is a decent amount of parking available but this park does get packed. The park features 8 very nice, fenced in, pickleball courts, a large playground, an active splash pad. The park also have two shelters with picnic tables under them and some benches under small shelter-like structures that provides some relief from the blazing sun. The splash pad has a lot going on. There are sprinklers, pouring buckets, sprayers, waterfalls and lots more. It is very nice and open from 9am to 8pm. The playground is modern and is Divided into zones for children aged 2 to 5 and 5 to 12. It is laid on a combination of artificial turf and rubberized, mud-free, surfacing. The playground features a swing bank with traditional and ADA swings, a net cone merry go round, a slide on artificial turf covered hills and a small jungle gym structure with a couple of slides and bridges. The highlight of the playground though is the towering jungle gym with a bunch of tall slides, ropes, and bridges. It is one of the first things that you will see when you arrive at the park. Additional amenities at the park include a water fountain that is capable of filling bottles, a restroom facility and a patch of green space to play catch or just throw a blanket down and relax, hiking trails that lead to and from downtown Bargersville. It is a small, but very well designed park. I will admit, that it does get packed during nice weather, no school days, especially on weekends. I really like this park. Bargersville has began to invest in parks, which is nice. This is definitely a must visit while in the Center Grove/Bargersville area.

You will 2 basketball goals just outside of the park's fence and the parking lot is the court. The park is basically a playground. There is nothing else to outside of its playground equipment. No trails, no restrooms, no water fountains, no tennis courts, or no pond. The park is named after longtime Bargersville Clerk-Treasurer, Beulah Witt. Outside of services or an event going on at the church, parking is easily obtained in the lot that the park shares with the church The park has a shelter with a picnic table under it and benches placed around for parents to sit while their littles play. The playground's equipment includes a jungle gym with slides, monkey bars, a whistle, rock climbing, nets, a suspension bridge, and a climbing wall. There is also a bank of swings with some traditional and expression swings, a caterpillar tunnel, a water well and percussion instruments. The equipment is very nice and appears to be pretty new. The playground is on a bed of wood chips and the grounds are well maintained. Additional the park has a dog clean up kiosk, a share a book box, and a bike rack. Even though this playground is small, it is still very nice and entertained my little. It is well maintained and you can tell that a lot of effort, planning and love went into this park. I would not make this a destination park per se, mostly due to its limited amenities, but it is well worth a visit if you are anywhere near the area.

This park is a neighborhood park that is in the backyard of Northeast Elementary School. It is…read morerelatively small, covering just under 20 acres. It has a decent sized private parking lot, a basketball court, a baseball field, a covered pavilion, restrooms, a playground and 4 soccer fields. The park is relatively well maintained. In other words, it is ok. It currently has some construction going on in the front by the parking lot. The basketball court is very in bad shape. It appears to have had some patch work done which has since come apart. It looks really bad, but is playable. The baseball field was very muddy, probably due to the park's poor drainage. The park's covered pavilion is co-located with restroom facilities and has picnic tables under it. There are grills right outside the pavilion. The pavilion is available for rent. The soccer fields are the best maintained aspect of the park and appears to be used as part of a youth rec league. The playground is relatively small and consists of a jungle gym with slides. there is also only one toddler swing. The play area's ground was covered in wood chips and dirt. The park has a small paved walkway that can be used to run or jog up and down. The park is not as popular as many other area parks, outside of recreation baseball/softball and soccer. It also has some major drainage issues, after some rain. Currently, it is not very quiet either, since they have a lot of construction going on.

The park is mainly a sports park, with a fenced skate park, basketball court, a baseball diamond,…read moreand several flat areas that look like they are soccer fields. Since the park is located next to an elementary school, it appears to have a convenient location for school activities and access to some parking on the east side. Other amenities include a shelter with picnic tables and restrooms, a single grill for charcoal, playground equipment and lots of overhead lights for the fields. However, the park has not had the benefits of access and design. The west side of the park has a large (and convenient) parking lot which has a single access road from the neighborhood on the west edge of the park. If you go when there is not an event, getting in and out isn't that difficult. But if there is a soccer league playing and lots of folks try leaving at the same time, this can become a real bottleneck. Also, the neighborhood itself is one designed with lots of curving roads, so unless you are familiar with the side streets, it can be quite challenging to find. (The best way is to come from Meridian Street to Park Drive and follow Park Drive to the lot. Note that Meridian is only accessible from County Line Road to the north or Main Street to the south.) Another problem is improper drainage. During my visit, the playgrounds and the walkways had numerous puddles deep enough to thoroughly soak your feet. I understand that building in lots of drainage is an expensive proposition, but be aware that if you stop by after a rainy day, you may have limited access to the equipment. Review #505

It kind of blends in with the pavement. As far as amenities go, it has a softball field and two large fields that can be used for football/soccer. I also has a gazebo and a covered pavilion with picnic tables and grill that is available for rent, two separate playground areas and two full basketball courts. The park currently has construction going on right in front of the entrance and is nestled between 2 neighborhoods. There is a huge ditch with running water running down the center of the park. Good luck if you get a ball in there. The park has two bridges that cross over the ditch. There is is running trail that runs through and another one that runs in front of the park. The one in front is longer. The one in the park looks like it just connects the two neighborhoods. The park has ample parking available in its private lot. Fun fact: The park serves as the southern border for the Tracy Trail System. There is a playground that consists of a small jungle gym contraption with a couple of slides coming out from it. The other playground has a larger jungle gym and some swings. The equipment is a bit older, but in good repair and well maintained. The playground floor is lined with wood chips. The basketball courts are decent. All the rims have nets, and the courts are clean. They are not like the modern courts that have been popping up at new parks, but they are well maintained and get the job done. The park has seasonal hours and a seasonal restroom facility that is not operational during the winter. This is a nice park, but limited as far as what other parks offer. It is a good spot for those in the local neighborhoods to shoot some hoops or take the kids to the playground.

The East side has a shelter and grill, while the west side has a gazebo with a grill. The entrance to the park for visitors outside the neighborhood is on the eastern half. There is a spacious lot and two basketball courts laid end to end. Near the middle of the park is a permanent restroom building though it's open only during the park season. Everything seemed to be in decent shape, though it could use a little spring cleaning. Review #546
